Covid times review: Sitting at my dining room table, I look at the ceiling and I say to myself "WTF is that?!" It was a moisture bubble that could only be one thing... a leak in a pipe from the upstairs bathroom. Thanks, 2020! Two men came out to assess the damage and provide a free estimate. Both arrived within the allotted time frame and wore masks the entire time. They covered everything in plastic prior to working and cleaned up afterwards. They were friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. They were actually the second plumber I had assess the same damage and were slightly more expensive than the first; however, their professionalism and my perception of how knowledgeable they were made it worth it to fork over the extra money. Found the cooper pipes that were installed in my house were all 1/2 inch in size and were all M type copper. M type copper has the thinnest wall lasting around 10 years before needing to install all new pipes. read more

I had a leak from one of the sinks in my upstairs master bathroom. I thought it was coming from my tub but it was not much water. It left a water stain on the ceiling in my family room. I called Knight's and they came out the next morning. The two plumbers , Jack and Jesse, assessed the situation and found it was a cracked iron drain pipe which required cutting a hole in the ceiling. they mad a small hole about 14"x14" and were able to remove the section of pipe and replace it with ABS which will never crack again. They sent their drywall repair guy out the next day and patched the hole and re-texturized it for a seamless repair. I will use these pros again when I need a plumber. Hats off to great customer service and a great job. read more

Knight's plumbing has been absolutely incredible to work with. As relatively new homeowners, my wife and i have run into our fair share of things that have needed to be repaired or replaced over the last year, with a couple of those things being plumbing related. As neither her nor I are very handy when it comes to plumbing repair, Knight's plumbing has been a great asset to rely on. Both instances we've used them they have been very prompt and very capable Most recently we had a leak in which we were not able to identify where it was originating from. I called Knight's Plumbing and they had someone over the next day (it was a very slow leak so we weren't worried about a same day appointment). They sent out Joe and his assistant Enrique. Within minutes Joe was working to troubleshoot the issue. He was even going so far as to explain everything he was doing and what exactly he was looking for. The leak turned out to be anything but typical and had him stumped for a while. However, he simply refused to give up and eventually found the leak - saying he hated to leave a job unfinished and didn't want to have to come back and make me take more time off work. He dried everything up, cleaned up the garage and waited for a bit to make sure the leak had stopped. I can't thank him and Enrique enough for being so thorough and tenacious in getting our issue resolved. Called them during COVID, they were able to come out same day. Unclogged toilet, bathtub and laundry sink. Will be having them back this week for an extra power wash through all our house pipes, after they showed me what they found in the piping we definitely need it. Miguel and Reggie were very professional and thorough and cleaned up everything before they left. I initially found Knights plumbing online last year after going through 2 other plumbers who could not figure out a sewage smell in our house. The two guys that came were super cool and explained everything they did. We live in an area with a lot of trees and were constantly battling drainage problems due to root penetration. We contacted Knight's Plumbing and Joe and his crew came to our house. After showing us the camera images, we understood why we were having problems...not only did we have a tangle of tree roots in our main sewer line, we had three MAJOR breaks in the sewer line itself. Once we knew what the problem was, we got bids from three plumbing companies for a re-lining of our sewer line, and Knight's Plumbing offered us the highest level of service/warranty for an incredibly reasonable amount of money, so we hired them. THAT turned out to be a great decision! Joe and his crew were on time, they worked hard even though it was a crazy hot time of the summer, they left everything neat every night when they left, and they ensured that the dig site was secured when they weren't around so that there was no chance of anyone accidentally stepping into the massive hole in front of our house. Jack is great! I live in a townhome complex and had a slab leak. My first slab leak so I was quite nervous. Jack made this a painless experience. What a nice, friendly guy! Joe is an efficient and conscientious worker. I recently had Knight's Plumbing come out and check my sewer drain pipe for a possible leak. Joe put a camera down the pipe and discovered that the pipe was cracked under my front walkway. The repair involved jackhammering our front walkway, excavating 3 feet down, and replacing the cracked segment of pipe. He used quality materials and made sure the connections were watertight. I was going on vacation the next week and did something I've never done before -- I let Joe perform the repair work while I was out of town. I normally like to watch the progress of any work being done on my property. But Joe impressed me as trustworthy, and he kept me informed of his progress with pictures and video. He went above and beyond the call of duty. After my vacation, Joe came back and gave me a live video demonstration of the completed work by putting a camera down the pipe and answered questions during this process. I contacted Knight's Plumbing for a draining issue I was having in our upstairs restroom. They responded quickly and sent out a technician soon after we spoke on the phone. I thought the issue was due to a toothpaste cap blocking the drainage but Greg, the technician, assured me it wasn't so. He was spot on, the assessment he made was valid and the problem was solved. Greg was awesome. It would've been a five star service if it was left at that; unfortunately, as they were working on the issue they made a hole in the wall. Greg assured me they would stay in contact with me so they could send someone out. The next day no one contacted me so I took it upon myself to contact them, rather strange thinking they hadn't finished the job yet were not in communication with me. I reached out and they said they would send someone out. After about another day they sent someone out and here's where things got a little complicated. Knight's Plumbing didn't by default take it upon themselves to pay for the wall repair, instead, I had to convince them that since we did not do the damage there is no reason for us to pay for it. I can't think of the last time I had to convince someone to pay for the damage they caused themselves. Luckily, they agreed and said they would cover the cost, but there's a catch. The wall (more like the ceiling) needs to be painted to match the patch, but that costs extra... So we fixed one issue and now we have another... We have to now send someone out to paint the wall(ceiling) in order for it to be all one shade. So to summarize, they fixed the leak, made a hole in the floor/downstairs bathroom ceiling, attempted to make us pay for it, after negotiating they paid for it, but only enough to do 75% of the wall by not matching the paint with the rest of the ceiling with the hole in it. read more

I was contemplating whether I wanted to give Knight's Plumbing 4 or 5 stars for a pinhole leak on my exterior condo pipe, but decided to go with 5 stars for below reasons: 1) One of the first ones out of 10 local businesses to respond (less than 5 minute response time) 2) Most reasonably priced of all quotes received 3) Didn't tell me to call the office to setup appointment and gave me all inclusive price after looking at the picture right away 4) This one is huge: the owner, Jeremy took initiative to contact my HOA to try to get them to cover the damage 5) Extremely friendly crew and crew manager? (Wes) 6) Very quick appointment time Here is the reason I wanted to knock down a star 1) They were originally suppose to call my wife in the morning and come out before noon but called around 11am to let me know they'll have to come in afternoon 2) They were then supposed to be there at noon but was running behind on their other job and had to reschedule to 3. This would have been definite 1 star down if they didn't do anything about it, but Jeremy texted me personally to apologize for this inconvenience. I understand meeting appointment time for service contract work is not always cut and dry so I decided to overlook this because I was overall happy that they quickly eliminated my headache of dealing with water puddling outside of my home. I don't trust Yelp reviews anymore. I called to schedule and they said there's a 3pm available, so I said that's a good time. I waited, 3pm, no one called or showed up. 315p, I called to ask, they told me the plumber had to deal with the issues it's taking longer, will be there in 45mins. Another hour passed, no call, no one showed up. I called back after giving them 2 additional hours, no one showed up and no courtesy call to provide status, so this company apparently don't respect people's time. If a company cannot even give the customer any respect to their time, it just shows how unprofessional they are. If there's an option to rate zero star, this company deserves the zero star. read more

He may or may not have discovered a larger concern than a leak, BUT HE REFUSED TO FIX THE CURRENT LEAK! The immediate problem with an ongoing and potentially destructive leak was not even touched. The kitchen is almost ready to flood. We will have a MUCH BIGGER problem if the whole kitchen floods. We have a sick person here and can't have a flood. The only positive thing is that he charged nothing for doing nothing to stop the immediate concern: a very serious and growing leak!!! It's ready to blow almost. But thanks for not charging, not recommending anyone to help or anything. It is now a gusher, almost, and I have plastic everywhere trying to catch all the water. This is the perfect plumbing company that I've always hoped for but had given up on finding. They're excellent at diagnosing problems, show great customer care, and charged much less than I expected to pay based on previous plumbing bills. Joe from Knight's was able to diagnose a problem with my kitchen plumbing that has eluded all the many plumbers I've hired over the years. When my townhouse was built in 1997 the builders used pipes, drain lines and a configuration under the kitchen sink that has caused constant water backup--polluted water coming up from the pipes into both sides of my sink. Every few months the drain would get completely plugged and I'd have to get it snaked. For not much more than one of those service calls, Joe and Dan re-configured and replaced parts to correct the source of the problem. The next day after Taylor came out the filter started leaking again. It wasn't leaking as bad as it had been, but none the less it was leaking. This time the owner of the company, Jeremy Knight, contacted me. He was extremely apologetic. I explained the situation and we made arrangements for he, himself to come out. He told me he would do what he had to in order to fix the problem. Not only did he stand behind his word, he called the next day to make sure there weren't anymore problems. He assured me that he had spoken to Taylor and something like this would not happen again. A couple weeks later, I was contacted by Jeremy Knight again. He wanted to make sure I wasn't having anymore issues with the filter and that I was satisfied with the outcome. Based on my previous feedback he became aware that I was unsatisfied with the cost and offered me a credit which he personally drove over to me. He again apologized and reassured me that customer service is very important to him and his company. Based on the totality of the situation, I would recommend "Knights Plumbing."
