Von’s Plumbing - Plumbing Near Me

We had an issue with our electric water heater with a heat pump that our go to plumber couldn't help us with so he referred us to Vons. After a text message he contacted me immediately and while he couldn't help us with our particular problem, he looked into the issue and referred me to someone that could, despite gaining nothing in it for himself. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and honest. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing issues you may have. read more

Von is the best! We had another plumber tell us we were going to have to completely redo both of our bathrooms for reasons that I won't get into in this review. We reached out to Von for a second opinion he was able to fix the problem and it hasn't been an issue since. He's come to the house for other issues we've had and been super helpful, courteous, timely, and overall awesome to work with. 10 out of 10 would recommend! read more

Von was recommended by our realtor when we purchased a new house and needed to perform an inspection on the house's plumbing. Von was very thorough, scoped all the lines, and found that one of the drainage lines from the house was almost completely blocked. He provided his judgement of the situation, an estimate, recorded the footage from the drain scope and we were able to get the price of the repair deducted from our offer. After the deal closed, Von arrived punctually to perform the work, and used a tool to bore a underground line with minimal excavation along the side of the house, under the driveway and to the sewer line. He was personally involved, took pictures of all the work, was communicative by text and always explained what he was doing. After his part of the job was done but before another contractor filled in the hole, I noticed the soil was wet and asked him to come out and take a look. He came out and noticed that the sprinklers had been on for an extended period and after they were shut off, I could verify that there were no leakage issues by watching the water meter to the house. After this positive experience I reached out to him when I had plumbing issues on the house we had been living in before the move and he gave me an estimate for repair that was less than half the average competing offer from other plumbers. I will always reach out to Von first for any plumbing work in the future, he charges a fair price, is very thorough and communicative. read more

Von’s Plumbing - Drainage line. Only needed to excavate the ends of the line and used a boring tool to go under the garage. - Plumbing Near Me

Von has helped my family several times over the past years. This last week he diagnosed our property and fixed a massive failure within hours! Got a notice from the city that we had a "leak" and they suspected it was from the pool. We had 7 days before they were going to report our water waste. Thanks to Von, this got resolved and we learned what the heck was going on + why our water bill was so high. Turns out an old inoperable water soften unit had an overflow valve open, feeding straight into a drain! This was all hidden from plain view but with his specialized equipment, he could read the meter and pinpoint the flow. This old house has had many addons over the years and Von took the time to unravel the mess. Can't say enough good things about his operation and how much he's saved us... Past and now future $$$ Highly, highly, recommended!! read more

Did a gas valve replacement on a Rheem water heater that was 5 years old. Von's would not warranty their work, or provide me with the old part, or paperwork proving the purchase of a new valve. Rheem would have pro-rated the new valve if I could prove it was purchased. Von's was non-responsive to emails or texts requesting follow up. I paid them $689 in January 2022 and the new part is going bad again, less than 4 months after the work. While I understand parts and machines fail, I don't understand this low level of customer care. read more

I have used Steve at Von's Plumbing and he always solved my plumbing issues. Today was another success when my water from the laundry keeps backing up to the Laundry sinks as well as the kitchen sink. Steve for it runs normal again by cleaning the drain connecting with the sewers. It was the build up in the pipe that leads to slow drain to the sewers. He always fixed my shower head which was slower than the other shower. He is responsible, efficient and knowledgeable. His pricing is fair. I would use him again and recommend him to others. read more

Von helped me on the same day I called him. He had the best price out of any others that I called. He fixed my problem immediately, which was a toilet blockage. My husband had already tried to use an auger but ours did not work, his did. He was clean, professional and made me feel comfortable with him in my home. I would recommend Von! read more

He does great work, and he's honest and explains everything clearly I first met him when my water heater broke for the second time. The first time it broke, the plumber I used charged me $500 to fix it. It worked for three months then broke again. So I was complaining to my co-worker and he gave me Von's number. Von said, your water heater is 20 years old. He was surprised that the first guy didn't just replace it. Not only did Von replace it (same day), he explains everything he's doing. He also fixed a leak at one of my other properties that two other plumbers couldn't solve. I have recommended him to my friends who have used him for multiple projects. They all have good things to say about him. He even helped my buddy in Hawaii. Even though Von couldn't travel there to fix her issue, the info he gave my friend prevented her from getting ripped off by any dishonest plumbers. I would 1000% recommend him for any plumbing problems. All my friends use him and all my co workers use him read more

Von was extremely professional at a great price! He was got back to me with a quote within 30 minutes and was able to come out the very next day to do the work. Will definitely use Von for any future plumbing needs! read more

Von did an amazing job with the work I needed in my garage. I needed an emergency new water heater and he got it done with same day service. We also added a circulation pump to the line and that has been amazing for hot water in the early mornings. He also ran a snake line for my washer drain out as it would occasionally overflow on a heavy load. I would highly recommend him for any and all of your plumbing needs, he seems like a great guy too. read more

Where do I begin? I had an emergency at one of my rentals the shower was clogged and the water wasn't going down. I called a plumber he came in and gave me an estimate for about $12,000 yes 12,000 I thought wait what! To fix a shower? I wasn't doing a remodel all I wanted was to have a shower unclogged. I decided that was too expensive so I went and called another plumber he then came looked at the shower didn't assess and didn't go underneath the house to see what the problem might be or even try to put a rotor to unclog it. He told me that it was going to be $3200 without even properly assessing the problem I had to ask him to go under the house to make sure if indeed what he said the problem was really existed. The plumber left I told him that I would give them a call back tomorrow. I found Vons through a good friend of my son who happens to be a contractor and told me he was honest and would not try to upsell me. Von came assessed the problem brought his little rotor machine and worked on it found the problem to be clogged hair he then went under the house and found a small problem but said it wouldn't be an emergency that I could wait and when I did decide to fix it it would be a couple of hundred dollars. What a big difference having Vons Plumbing here he was very professional he cleaned up after himself fix the problem for $100!!!! I am so thankful to have found him he is very genuine honest and isn't going to upsell you on something that doesn't need to be fixed. I am so happy to give him a five star review and even more he honestly saved me thousands of dollars I truly believe when people see a woman they think they can get over on us well that other plumbing company didn't get over on me at the end of the day I won! I got the shower fixed cleaned unclogged and now have a new plumber that will be using for all my plumbing in my home and properties. I will definitely refer him to family and friends! read more

I hired Von for two projects in 2022 and was impressed with his attention to detail, honesty, the quality of his work, and fair pricing. Last weekend our water heater quit and I texted Von. He responded promptly and let me know he was booked solid for the upcoming week but referred me to another plumber. After screening several companies, I went with Von's recommendation. They did a terrific job and we now have hot water again. I'm very grateful for Von's integrity and commitment to his customers. He'll be my first call the next time we need help. read more

We're lucky to have found Von shortly after moving into our "new" (old) home. He's knowledgeable, cheerful, trustworthy and he works clean.

We had Von come and change out two valves in our laundry room that were leaking. After getting several quotes he was one of the most affordable plumbers we reached out to. When he arrived he could've up sold us on a few things but only did the work we ask him to without pressure. He was polite clean and on time. He even helped hook up our gas line at no additional charge very friendly guy. Will absolutely be calling him again when we do our bathroom remodel. read more

Highly, highly recommend!!! Von was very nice and personable. He was respectful of our home. He came in wearing a mask and cleaned up after he finished unclogging our shower. He found the problem right away and educated us on the issue. Great price too. read more

Needed a plumber to replace a an outdoor hose bib and ended up using Von's plumbing. I will definitely use them again. Here's why...Von was far and away the quickest to respond and provided a fair price up front. No calling and having someone come out to give a free estimate. Big complicated job? Sure getting an estimate makes sense. But this was a very straightforward job and I appreciated that Von made the process friction free. Bottom line-this is a quality plumber that does excellent work at a fair price. My previous plumber moved to Montana. Von's plumbing is my new go to. read more

It was a Saturday afternoon and all of a sudden I hear the toilet down stairs start making noise, the shower upstairs was draining out of the toilet downstairs, I quickly turned off the water valve and cleaned up the mess. I called my home warranty company and someone finally showed up Monday afternoon, the guy was nice and did what he could but stated it required my toilet to be removed and larger equipment. I quickly did some research and requested a quote. Von was the first to respond with a quote and a timeline. He came to my home and was extremely professional and easy going, he answered all my questions and took care of my plumbing issue in less than 1 hour. I will definitely call Von again for any future plumbing needs. read more

My washing-machine drain began belching a little again, nothing urgent. Von's truck has been visible locally so I looked the name up and noted over a dozen 5-star reviews, none less. His estimated price was generally agreeable, my wife suspecting another "slow" drain. While here, Von explained how our house drains are laid out differently than I'd guess, and he also listened to my wife's thought of maybe a kitchen remodel that would relocate the sink and disposal: "a bad idea," and he explained why. The problem drain is fine again, and Von held to his quote. A-OK. . read more

Von is very knowledgeable and reliable. I asked him about a million questions when he came over to repair a leak in my living room. He did such a good job that I'm gonna hire him to install a water softener for the house and a separate water system for car detailing. I recommended him to all my friends and co workers. I wanted to say how great my experience was working with Von. He responded right away, text me when he was on his way. I was quoted $606.00 to replace the cartridge in my shower and he switched it out for $137.00. I even had him return to install a new toilet for us a few days later. Very polite and clean. I have found my go to plumber. read more

It's so hard to find a plumber who is honest, responsive, competent, and fair in pricing - but Von is all that and more! My elderly parents recently had a plumbing emergency, and they had no idea who to call. Not being internet-savvy, they tend to lean toward those big companies that do a lot of advertising. Many of my neighbors had recommended Von on the NextDoor app, so I took a chance and called him. He was able to come out quickly, and fix their backed up drain. They were so happy, and couldn't say enough about how great he is! Because of my recommendation, I've been promoted to Favorite Daughter. Sorry, sis. ;) Thanks again, Von! read more

Von was great! We had a slab leak in our main line (meter from the street to the garage) under our driveway. He made a temporary line to confirm where the leak is and rule out an irrigation line leak. He was very thorough by confirming that our garage was not slab tension and have 811 come out make their markings to make sure he does not hit the other utility lines when putting the new line. He made a great route plan for the new line, so we had the least amount of driveway concrete to repair (less than 2x2 feet) in the corner. He went across the driveway, so he was digging in dirt to make the connections rather than jack hammering the driveway. He saved us thousands of $$ in concrete repairs. He also made sure everything else was back to normal inside the house after the new line was flowing. His price was reasonable and the job was done in two days with minor water disruption. I highly recommend him for your next plumbing problem/project. read more
