Von was recommended by our realtor when we purchased a new house and needed to perform an inspection on the house's plumbing. Von was very thorough, scoped all the lines, and found that one of the drainage lines from the house was almost completely blocked. He provided his judgement of the situation, an estimate, recorded the footage from the drain scope and we were able to get the price of the repair deducted from our offer. After the deal closed, Von arrived punctually to perform the work, and used a tool to bore a underground line with minimal excavation along the side of the house, under the driveway and to the sewer line. He was personally involved, took pictures of all the work, was communicative by text and always explained what he was doing. After his part of the job was done but before another contractor filled in the hole, I noticed the soil was wet and asked him to come out and take a look. He came out and noticed that the sprinklers had been on for an extended period and after they were shut off, I could verify that there were no leakage issues by watching the water meter to the house. Did a gas valve replacement on a Rheem water heater that was 5 years old. Von's would not warranty their work, or provide me with the old part, or paperwork proving the purchase of a new valve. Rheem would have pro-rated the new valve if I could prove it was purchased. Von's was non-responsive to emails or texts requesting follow up. I paid them $689 in January 2022 and the new part is going bad again, less than 4 months after the work. While I understand parts and machines fail, I don't understand this low level of customer care. read more

Where do I begin? I had an emergency at one of my rentals the shower was clogged and the water wasn't going down. I called a plumber he came in and gave me an estimate for about $12,000 yes 12,000 I thought wait what! To fix a shower? I wasn't doing a remodel all I wanted was to have a shower unclogged. I decided that was too expensive so I went and called another plumber he then came looked at the shower didn't assess and didn't go underneath the house to see what the problem might be or even try to put a rotor to unclog it. He told me that it was going to be $3200 without even properly assessing the problem I had to ask him to go under the house to make sure if indeed what he said the problem was really existed. The plumber left I told him that I would give them a call back tomorrow. I found Vons through a good friend of my son who happens to be a contractor and told me he was honest and would not try to upsell me. Von came assessed the problem brought his little rotor machine and worked on it found the problem to be clogged hair he then went under the house and found a small problem but said it wouldn't be an emergency that I could wait and when I did decide to fix it it would be a couple of hundred dollars. Von was great! We had a slab leak in our main line (meter from the street to the garage) under our driveway. He made a temporary line to confirm where the leak is and rule out an irrigation line leak. He was very thorough by confirming that our garage was not slab tension and have 811 come out make their markings to make sure he does not hit the other utility lines when putting the new line. He made a great route plan for the new line, so we had the least amount of driveway concrete to repair (less than 2x2 feet) in the corner. He went across the driveway, so he was digging in dirt to make the connections rather than jack hammering the driveway. He saved us thousands of $$ in concrete repairs. He also made sure everything else was back to normal inside the house after the new line was flowing. His price was reasonable and the job was done in two days with minor water disruption.
