Only thing I find is that with them it is not worth hiring them to remove big appliances because they charge a fix rate per items. For example: a stove is $200 plus tax to remove and dispose.

We have an elderly friend who called Doctor Trash to come & give him an estimate for removing some stuff from his yard. The experience turned out very similar to the previous review. This person was given an estimate that seemed reasonable so he gave the OK to do the clean up. There were 2 people working. They worked for several hours but did not remove all that could have been taken away. At the end they presented our friend with a bill for almost $2,700.00 with taxes. To be fair they did offer a discount of $35.00! They made up some story as to why the bill was so, so much more than the original quote. They also took away the quote so our friend does not have it. Unfortunately, he paid this outrageous bill. We felt sick when we learned that our senior friend was taken advantage of by a dishonest business. I phoned the number given in their ad & also spoke with "Sam", as mentioned in the previous review. I gave him my contact information but of course he has not phoned back to explain why the bill was so outrageous. I would not give this business even one star but there isin't a rating of no stars. Please do not use this company for your clean up or removing of materials, etc. If you do decide to use Doctor Trash or any other company, make sure you get a quote in writing, make sure the quote is not open ended so that things can not be added. Also, keep the quote with you. Thank you. I hope this review will help someone if they are considering using the services of Doctor Trash. Please, do yourself a favor & look elsewhere. We were quoted an affordable price of $150. On the day of, Sam came alone. I personally was not there, but my sister (she has a mental disability) and my father were there to help him load up the trailer. After 30 minutes of work to load up their trash, they were given a bill for $1800. No explanation was given for the price increase from $150 to $1800. Unfortunately, my father, who does not speak fluent English nor has any clue as to how much trash disposal costs, had paid him (his fault). I immediately called Sam the following day after finding out from my father as to what had happened. Sam had stood his ground saying that "his price was fair" and he "did nothing wrong" and only offered to give a discount of $250. I told him this was unacceptable, so we came to an agreement that he would call us back with a resolution, but of course there has been no contact from him since. I hope writing this review helps others stay away from this business. He took advantage of my elderly father and mentally disabled sister.

They provide a free consultation before the removal to give you an estimate of the cost. I truly appreciated that! When I was on a call to book an appointment, I had told the person that I would want someone there exactly at 3:30pm. The person confirmed this for me and even sent me a text. However, on the day of the appointment at exactly 3:30pm I got a call saying that they will come by 4:30pm. I was annoyed because I had travelled a distance to be there and there was no way I was going back home. I conveyed my message to the person and he was very nice and apologized about this miscommunication. Promptly after that, they arrived in 30mins. The people who helped me were Jack and Haiden, both were super efficient and fast! They were very good at stacking the truck as well and charged me the right amount based on the volume. I was very impressed by them and would recommend this service. However, I would advice that when you book an appointment to email them instead of a phone call. Their call centre is not closely affiliated to the service and that can cause some miscommunication.
