Out of all the companies that came out, Todd took the time to understand what I was doing, check out the access and get a good idea of the scope of the job, and gave me a good price based on what he saw and what we discussed. Some companies came in waaaay over what Todd quoted, but most were right around the same price. I went with R3 because Todd seemed very knowledgeable, took the time necessary to understand exactly what needed to be done, and he just genuinely seems like a good dude and left me with a great impression. Also, in the end he completed the job quickly and efficiently.

We called on Sunday, Airco showed up Monday. Said they would order part. No communication/update until Wednesday when we called and asked about the part. We were told that there was a delay in getting the part. We asked for a supervisor to call, nothing. We called another company on Thursday. This company came out on Friday, they ordered the part and brought it out Saturday morning and installed it. Wow, a 2 day turn around. Airco left her high and dry for 5 days and would still be waiting if we had not called another company. And the total bill was cheaper with a service agreement thrown in since Airco were such jerks to her!!!!! Shame on you Airco!!!!

Airco sent a "project manager" (Steiger Hart) to the residence to "inspect" the area where the water heater was going to be placed. The project manager informed the resident that the area was not up to code (LIES) and recommended purchasing several things to bring it up to code (emergency shutoff valve, hammer arrestors, expansion tank, safety drain pan, new combustion- pvc piping, and a gas drip leg). When I asked for an itemized price list, I was told their system packages everything together and he couldn't provide an itemized bill. The only service that receives an itemized bill is HVAC. RED FLAG!! The home was built in 2016 and according to the plumber we actually hired, EVERYTHING IS WITHIN CODE. Airco wanted to charge $1744 for install and code upgrades. Then proceeded to try to convince the resident to purchase a hot water heater from Airco because theirs are manufactured better . We paid a local plumber (small family owned business) $250 to install the hot water heater and replace the hoses. This company lacks integrity, clearly overcharges, and tries to upsell the customer. DO NOT USE THEM!!! Before you respond lying saying you couldn't find an account using my name listed in the review, I have emails for your "project manager" and Lowe's.

Since we didn't have any electrician recommendations, I naturally referenced yelp and automatically noticed all the positive reviews but what really stood out to me was the quick response time MacPhee had! I had never used the "get a quote" feature on yelp until this and I will definitely be using that more often! It walks you through your problem step by step and even allows you to use photos. The business then will reply with an estimate. Mark (the owner) responded within the hour. I then called him and we got an appointment scheduled. Him and his son, Connor showed up and they were both super friendly and went straight to work! They were able to address the issue and fix it within 30 mins or so. He explained to me what had happened and how he corrected it. His service call fee is $110. These guys are very kind and professional. I would recommened them to anyone who needs an electrician. They texted me when they're on their way also which I like. I'm a stay at home mom with a toddler so anytime the phone rings I never answer because I can't hold a conversation with all the noise.
