BAM Constructuon was awesome to work with. I told them what I wanted and my budget, and they made…read moreit happen without any issues. Super professional, easy to talk to, and they kept everything clean while were working. The quality of work turned out great- I'm really happy how it all came together. Dedinetly Recomend!!

Unfortunately, our experience with BAM Construction was extremely disappointing, and based on our…read moreexperience, we cannot recommend them. The biggest issue was communication and scheduling. Sherry repeatedly failed to properly read our messages and did not effectively communicate with us or the contractor about scheduling or what work needed to be done. In the middle of the project, we went several days without hearing anything, leaving us with an unusable kitchen and no clear timeline for completion or even confirmation that anyone was coming back. It took multiple messages, including demanding either a refund or completion that week, before we finally received a response. When they did return, we received only about 15 minutes' notice. What should have been a simple 3-4 day countertop and backsplash project turned into a two-week project, with much of that time spent with no one working and us unsure whether or when the project would be completed. We also caught the contractor providing inaccurate information on multiple occasions, which damaged our trust. More than $600 worth of materials we personally purchased were disposed of without our permission, and we had to track them down and attempt to recover them. After losing confidence in the contractor, we requested someone else be assigned. We then went two days without a response. The owner, Adam, repeatedly said he would call at specific times, but those calls did not happen. When we called, we were told to text instead and often received little or no response. Even after completion, cabinet doors the crew had removed were left off, and we had to ask them to reinstall them and put the dishwasher back. The crew also damaged our garbage disposal, requiring us to have an electrician come out and repair it. Our old countertops were also left in our dumpster, resulting in neighbor complaints and involvement from City of Lubbock Code Enforcement regarding proper disposal of the demolition materials. Overall, this project was far more stressful than it should have been due to poor communication, scheduling issues, repeated delays, inaccurate information, unauthorized disposal of our materials, incomplete work, and difficulty getting anyone to respond. For a straightforward kitchen remodel, we expected much better professionalism, communication, honesty, and follow-through. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend BAM Construction based on our experience.

Our kitchen remodel, in parts, has been a disaster. I can say with 100% certainty and without…read morehesitation that you should NEVER use Allied Stone In short, they measured our walls incorrectly and blamed us when the cabinets had to be torn out because they were the wrong size. We are still waiting on a refund for that. They measured our fridge incorrectly, thus making upper and lower cabinets not fit correctly. They also blamed us for this. We are still waiting for a refund on that. We asked for our island to be the same size it is now, and rather got one that is many inches bigger, which doesn't work in our space. They blamed us and as you can guess, we are still waiting on a refund for the correct size as we paid over. The designer assigned to us assumed the size of our fridge, the way our cabinets should open in respect to other cabinets in the kitchen and the size of our microwave. Because of this, we had to pay for their mistakes, while being blamed for them. Our general contractor, Garrett and the owner of Allied Stone all met in the house while the designer was there, and Allied Stone was told multiple times, over and over, specifics needed for our kitchen before the project started. We finally had to buy a cabinet from someone in Oklahoma who could fit it in our space, while our contractor had to adjust what was the original blueprint. Allied Stone has yet to refund us for that cabinet, yet said because of that, we changed the entire design of the kitchen. However, the designer didn't do her job. We are waiting on molding to finish off over half of the kitchen. We were told demo would start December 9th. So our kitchen has been boxed up since December 8th. It is still unfinished as we wait on Allied Stone to provide what we have already paid for. Our 3 week remodel has now lasted over 2.5 months, still with no resolution in sight. We have made many attempts to contact them in person, phone and email. We do get some communication but never a resolution. Our contractor has also spoken back and forth with them on our behalf and he gets no resolution either. What I can say, is that in the middle of this disaster, we called Scott Adams with Crown Stone. He was at our house within hours, measured, ordered our counter tops and within a week of the first phone call to him, has our counter tops installed. We will be redoing bathrooms as soon as the kitchen is complete and there is one company we will not be calling. We expected bumps in the road. We did not expect to be working with a company who was ok in treating customers this way.

Installation was timely and well done. 2 years after our first experience, Raider Flooring came out and did yet another STELLAR job finishing out our 900 square foot attic space. "nope.. cant tell you, we have too many." ok... then tell me all of them. i'll wait. more under the breath snickers. is it because im a woman? is it because you plan on changing the prices and thats why you dont have pricing? i've had that happen to me with a carpet company, so i know the "screw the customer" game of refusing to give pricing. Even homedepot lists prices!!! they have millions of tiles too! horrible people. i called him out. i said.. "you think its funny that i am calling you to get tile for my house? why are you laughing at this attempt to make a large purchase?" more laughter! i hung up. Then some asshat called me back! i had zero interest to hear what some scammer wants to tell me. if they refuse to give a price, you can bet they are going to change prices and scam you later!!!! DO NOT USE~~~ PS! Mike (the horrible owner) just made a rebuttal! Mike is claiming "no one laughed"? That is a bald faced lie. That guy did laugh. multiple times. How dare you lie in a response!!!! Shame on you!!!! Go listen to the recording!!! 1,000,000% he is laughing!!!! Snickering at me every time I asked for a pricing! Clearly, you have set yourself up and your opaque pricing so that you can cheat people or change pricing! You are denying that he was laughing, please, lie to yourself, but DO NOT LIE about what happened! I am now going to plaster this review on every single social media platform. You do not get to lie about what happened on the phone!!! NO
