The portions here are massive and plenty to share. The space is somewhat small so would not recommend coming with a group larger than 4, and they don't take reservations! Service was phenomenal -- even though my friend and I had one primary waitress, it seems that all the staff work together to keep the momentum going (ie the one who processed our payment was a different woman than who took our orders). I like that type of environment, where all staff are aware of customer needs and answer questions etc. Drinks: everything was exceptional! The cocktails were delicious! The shots of flavor infused soju were amazing! The fermented rice beer was absolutely worth trying! I would order any and all bevvies again! Now to the food! The best for me was the house fries with bulgogi! I was hesitant to order initially but so glad we did! The fries were exceptionally crispy and delicious -- haven't had amazing fries in a LONG time until now! The bulgogi complimented the fries well and didn't affect the texture of the fries. Well done!! The Mac and Chi was ooey, gooey, and delicious -- personal preference I would've liked more kimchi and next time I will also add bulgogi! Very nice comfort dish! The Trust Me caught my eye the first time reading the menu! I have yet to try a burger with PB and jelly so this was a first in that regard. The bread was soft yet crunchy and delicious. The peanut butter was a nice thin layer. I liked that I could add my own amount of jam from the dish. Flavors were unusually well-complimented! Unfortunately, I think the kimchi let me down on this one.. It was a little difficult to bite through with many layers of kimchi (my bite didn't always 'cut' through the kimchi and therefore I got multiple large pieces of kimchi in a few bites). I still love this idea and concept! Juche: might you consider adding a thin, smash burger-sized patty (hamburger, pork, sausage, or combo) to this and provide a generous portion of kimchi to the top (and an egg!)? I think that would be an impressive dish -- like a Korean take on a Patty Melt. Just an idea THANK YOU JUCHE for a great dining experience

I'll say I don't love the side options (except the sticky rice). I'd love to see them give their take on classic southern sides like some sort of greens or Texas sides like elotes or brisket beans. Or more Asian sides. What they have currently is just fine. But they DO have the most important part down, and that's the meat. The ribs are as good as the best places in the area (Firebox, Jellybean and Julia's) but they're still unique. They have a few sauce options--the green one is amazing. Their Asian pulled pork is great. And their brisket is above average. I've yet to try their beef rib but it's a goal in the future since I'll definitely keep going back.

You can tell it was high quality meat. The meats all had a sightly sweet taste to them. I almost didn't need any sauce. I did use a lot of Hmong pepper sauce though because it was so good. For my sides, I ordered the sticky rice, apple coleslaw, bbq sauce, and hmong pepper. The sticky rice was made just how I like it - hot, sticky, and just the right amount of chewiness. The apple coleslaw was good but not memorable. The Hmong pepper sauce was fresh and spicy-- but not too spicy. It gave a good balance to the sweetness of the meat. I docked one star for the following... They provided some tables that look like the ones K12 children sit in at lunch. You can tell they didn't put much thought into designing their outdoor seating (which is currently the only seating available). Additionally, there was nowhere to wash your hands or even hand sanitizer.
