I needed to have my toilet and sink removed from my guest bathroom because I was having the floors replaced and they came out and remove them. They then came back when the floor was done and replaced the toilet with a new wax ring and reinstalled the sink with a new faucet. They also replace my water lines for both the toilet and the sink. At the same time I had them change the shower head in the master bath. Since it was time I also had my tankless water heater flushed. They did a great job. I would use them again. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. In fact, I would give them a negative score. We only went with this company since they are the contractor for plumbing with our home insurance. I definitely would not have hired them after reading their terrible reviews on Yelp. The person that was assigned to our place never showed up the first two times. No calls or courtesy text to say they weren't coming or if they could reschedule. I stayed at home for two days waiting for them. The plumber finally responded to my husband after not showing up the 2nd time, saying he needs to get approval for our faucet. I don't know why he needs to get approval for something he has never seen or knows what the problem is. The second guy comes to the 3rd appointment time, and I expressed my unhappiness about this company to the plumber. He said he would fix the issue and ask me not to be upset and to let it go. The audacity of this guy. He wouldn't like it if he someone had done the same to him. This guy also tells me that he will get a matching faucet since I have a double sink in my master bathroom. Does this happen? No. The 3rd guy, Sam, comes (4th appointment time) comes in and brings the ugliest faucet that doesn't even match our other faucet. By this time, I'm livid. I told him I didn't want that one, and I was promised one that would match the one we already had. Why would this company think that I would want two different faucets in my ensuite? Ridiculous! He told me he would have to see how much it would cost and if they could get approval for the same one we have. With a lot of going back and forth, it turns out we would have to pay them an extra $200-$300 depending if we were going to have them purchase it or us purchasing it. This would be in addition to the $100 deductible we had to pay for them to come and fix our sink. We ultimately decided to buy our own ($93) and have them install it. Sam came (5th time) and did such a great job that after a few days, I looked underneath to get my cleaning supplies and see that we have a bunch of water leaking and the cabinet is completely wet. My husband, who is not a plumber, had to fix Sam's great job of installing the faucet. I would avoid this company at all cost and hope that this is a cautionary tale for anyone thinking of hiring them. read more

Not too sure what has changed in the company within the past couple of years, but SOS used to be our plumbers of choice. We called 2 days ago in which they scheduled service on our main line for today 1/26/22 between the hours of 3pm-5pm. We called them at roughly 3:30pm to see if we can an ETA for our plumbing technician. Their response was "they should be there between 3-5pm. At 5:15pm I called and was lead to their voicemail in which I had left a message regarding this situation. It is now 5:56pm and no technician, or no courtesy call regarding them not coming anymore. This wasn't the first time an issue like this occurred. Should've learned the first time. These Yelp reviews about responsiveness and professionalism seem to be misleading. read more

Yesterday, I called SOS plumbing for a leak under my kitchen sink. They had Sam come out within an hour. The problem was a failed hot water valve. I called these losers to fix a water leak in my house and the guy came and put what looked like some kind stethoscope thing on the floor in my kitchen and said my house needed re-piping so they did it once the water was turned back on the house flooded again. Turns out it was the main line clog up due to tree roots. These guys are the biggest crooks I've seen. RUN FROM THEM RUN FAST they only want the money you pay. read more

I called to have an estimate for a tankless water heater and this guy by the name of Sam came out and gave me a price. I asked if he could write up a proposal and email it to me. He said yes. I have not heard from him since that day. I called their office four times on different days asking for the estimate and was told their computers were not working. After the fourth call I was told that an estimate would be emailed the next day. Today is the next day and I still have no estimate. I don't know if the guy is too busy to do the work or just did not want to write up a proposal. I guess I will never find out I am going to hire someone else. Stay away from this place. They advertise "free estimates" but in reality, it isn't free. So when I made the appointment, they told me they do free estimates. Then when the technician shows up, he says the call was $85.00. I had a shower leak from the upstairs shower in the ceiling. So he told me that to find out what was causing the leak, I would have to pay the 85 dollars. Agreed to that and then after taking the faceplate off and looking behind that, he didn't see a leak and put back all the parts. I realized he was wrapping up because he put caulk where he removed the plate. Then he proceeded to gather his things and says well, "there isn't a leak anywhere..and it's probably a part in the wall." Then he said it was going to be an extra $150.00. So what did he do for $85.00?!? Spent 15 mins removing the faceplate and caulking? Seriously? I'm not push over. So then I called the office and the lady said that they initially try to do the least damage to the house. So I told them what's the point in any type of inspection if he couldn't find the source of the problem? Don't waste your time and money. read more

Hi! My friend had referred me to Sos plumbing when all the water in my house (including shower water!) was VERY cold! Anyways, I took his word for it and made a phone call to speak with them about having a plumber come out to my location. The lady was super kind over the phone and got my information right away. I asked her when they will come out to me and she quickly responded saying in about an hour which was great! If I had to wait more than an hour, it would've been too long (considering my water has been cold for 3 days now). Anyways, the plumber came and fixed my problem in no time! He had all of his tools and equipment which was great too! Other companies have to go out to a local supply store and purchase the tools and return which extends the finishing time even longer! So I recommend Sos plumbing because they get the job done right away with kind staff who really are there to help your every need. BEWARE....This company is the WORST. They give you a warranty, then they don't honor it! First off they CHARGE DOUBLE PRICE and give you a three year warranty. Second,10 months after "fixing" the problem, I called them to come out because I was having the same issue. The plumber didn't even take a look at the problem, the guy starts yelling and threatening me. What's the use of having a warranty if they don't want to honor it? I'm giving this company zero, squat, nada. My upstairs neighbor called them for a plugged drain. We had just arrived downstairs. As we opened the door, to our horror there was this black goop shooting out of our kitchen sink onto the countertops, the floor, the cabinets, and the dishes on the counter. He was about to leave when we asked him to see the damage he had caused. He said it wasn't his fault and he couldn't do anything about it anyway since he was only called for 1 job not 2 and if we wanted his services it would be $169.00. To make a long story short, he ended up charging over $600.00 to the apartment manager, blamed the plugged drain on us, made us "help" him clean the mess he made with our own towels, damaged the kitchen drain because the snake did not fit and then asked us to bring out a tarp for the following day because he was coming back to finish the job. He came back and all he did was force flush the drain which didn't need it since it had been working perfectly fine before he caused all the mess. I asked him to replace the damaged drain and he said it was not authorized and it would be an additional charge . We felt like we were in a Laurel and Hardy movie all we needed was the Keystone Cops. read more

My house needed new cooper pipes to be installed throughout the house. I was given an estimate by a technician who went throughout the house to get an idea of what needed to be done. Then I chose him to do the job because I felt comfortable that( He) would do a good job. The day the job was to commence, the different technicians showed up and didn't have a clue about where the new pipping needed to be done since they had never been to my house. After speaking with them, they evaluated the house and determined only 2 of the 3 bathrooms needed to be fitted with new copper pipes, even though in the estimate, I was being charged with 3 bathrooms. After the work was completed, there was a mix up with the payment because I sent the check to the address provided my one of the technicians business cards. Their office was not very cordial in understanding that their incorrect business card information was the reason for the mix up. After that mess was straightened out, I voiced my concerns about the inaccurate estimate that I was charged for and thought I overpaid because I was charged for an extra bathroom. The front desk lady said she would get back to me but has never followed up since. I'm sure they are happy to have been paid for work that was never done. read more
