I give them a five stars out of five, came when they said they would, their technician (Shaun) knew what was wrong and what to do, for the price I was quoted. This was the second company who came out to fix the problem.... the first company who came out yesterday couldn't fix the problem, tried to sell me a $1600 hydro-jet, (when I knew the line just had to be snaked), charged me a $55 service charge after doing nothing, and left. I have now called Courtesy Plumbing 2 more times since my first appointment back in 2020, and have had a great experience with each tech and appointment. They, from the front office to the techs, have always been very courteous and also have very quick response times! I called on a Monday to request an appointment, and they had one for the very next day! Due to my schedule, I was able to request an appointment for Saturday, as they work Monday through Saturday, which is very convenient! I was provided a 3-hr window, and the tech arrived within the estimated window provided. Richard called me about 20 minutes prior to his arrival, which I usually request to ensure all is prepared for the tech's arrival, and he got quickly to work. He asked me what the issue was and as I was explaining it to him, he looked into it. As always, I asked a lot of questions, so am always thankful for the tech's patience in responding and explaining everything. I knew that the flapper my toilet was not available at The Home Depot or local hardware stores, but it was good to learn how to order them online, or through Courtesy Plumbing, as it would be good to have on-hand if we continue to run into issues and need to call for another appointment. I had my house re-piped and re-drained by Courtesy Plumbing. I originally wanted to fix multiple fixture issues around the house. My home was built in 1957 with original galvanized pipes and cast iron drains. Cory advised me that attempting repairs on multiple fixtures might open up a can of worms and suggested that it's time for a re-pipe to PEX instead of wasting money trying to replace fixtures tied into old plumbing that's near the end of its life. He sent out Express Air to test the demolition areas for asbestos. When the results were negative, the job was scheduled. Ed and a team of 3 other guys were sent and got started at 8 AM. Running both the new water line from the meter to the house and the re-pipe was completed the same day. I had water again by 3 PM. When Ed was in the crawlspace, he said the cast iron drainage doesn't look like they have much life left, and advised me to change it out with ABS while the walls were already opened up. He showed me the main cleanout that ran down the middle of the entire house. It had a partial clog. I asked why not clear it? He said I run the risk of cracking the cast iron. I was convinced and agreed. Ed and his team came back out a second day and the re-drain was completed by that afternoon. I got new fixtures for my bathtub and shower. All the u-traps under sinks got replaced. I got a new pop-up for one of my sinks at no extra cost. They dug down multiple feet to install an ABS pipe with a cleanout at a section of the main sewer line. I didn't have a cleanout there before and now I got one. I'm fortunate to have a crawlspace where everything was accessible with minimal demolition. The house was designed where all the fixtures were easily accessible without demolishing bathtub and shower tiles. At the end of the job, they patched the demolition areas, and I only had to handle the repaint. It was a job well done. read more

I'm the caregiver to an adult who is developmentally challenged. On a Sunday night the water heater which is on the second floor of his condo busted and water was gushing through the ceiling. Getting this taken cared of was the number one priority. I called the emergency number and they sent Cory out to make sure everything was shut off. It was time for a new Hot Water Heater. We had bandaged ours for about 6 months, and the time had finally arrived. The call operator was great. They were pretty quick to respond as well. The plumber did a good job as well. The concern is that the plumber on site seems to have made up a number which in retrospect was underhanded. The Increase from the base price provided by the main office was arbitrary significantly more expensive then initially quoted. Requested kitchen faucet change. Was quoted $225 when you have your own faucet. The plumber made one pipe underneath the sink and mentioned a potential $50 increase, for a 6 inch pvc pipe change so I was aware of a slight bump in price. When he was done he gave me a bill for $350 and even charged the extra 3% for credit card use. Considering the need for the repair and my need to be back at work I didn't have time to get into a dispute but I get taken advantage of. A few days later I ran into a plumber and asked about the situation and showed the picture of the receipt. They said it shouldn't have been more than $300 max. If you use Courtesy I'd just suggest getting hard numbers before they begin the process. Sadly with plumbing issues the immediate need lends to a opportunity to be taken advantage of. Let's hope that's not the case. read more
