It took some time chasing down the dry rot, but the end result is that this side of the house looks as good as the time of original construction. They'll take care of wet washing in the kitchen and bathroom (including counters, appliances, sinks, showers, toilets, and more), as well as dry cleaning in living rooms and bedrooms (including dusting, vacuuming, and floor cleaning). These pros bring their own equipment and supplies, so you can put your feet up and bask in the glow of your perfectly polished abode." It also said that the service would be regularly $120. So, if you read the ad above that talks about "experts" and "these pros", you would expect more than one person to come, right? Well, so did I. And when the two ladies showed up, I was very happy. Until they told me, they would only stay for one hour, since it was two of them. OK, I thought, this is probably a mix-up and called the owner. She told me yes, it's $59 for one person and since she sent me two, it will only be one hour. To get this straight: if I would pay the regular price, it would be $120 for two hours of house cleaning by one person. Hello? She also insisted on the ad clearly stating that this deal is only for one cleaning person. Well, let me tell you: it doesn't Ah yes, she also told me it was my problem if I couldn't read the ad right. All in all: big ripoff. I was considering getting a regular cleaning service, that's why I wanted to try them out and was happy to get the livingsocial deal. Now I surely won't give them my business.

I called to schedule an appointment and specifically said "These are the hours I am available." Of course, the day of the cleaning, I got a call asking for the cleaners to come at a different time. No! I booked the time I booked for a reason! I keep a tidy house, but there are things I don't do. Baseboards, windows, vacuuming under the beds and behind the furniture, dusting off the chandeliers, wiping down the inside of the fridge, microwave, cupboards, mopping the floors, etc., I just don't do that every week. When I bought a deep cleaning, that is precisely what I expected to have done, and what a deep cleaning implies - that things that normally don't get done will shine. I was shocked when my single housekeeper assigned to my house was ready to leave after only 75 minutes. Just an hour to clean my house? I take longer vacuuming! Nothing was done that I expected from a deep clean. All I got for my time was a light dusting, my kitchen and bathroom floors mopped, and some vacuuming - and that wasn't very good because I had to vacuum again, and dust again, and clean the windows and mirrors again, and do all the things she didn't do after she left. What wasn't done: guest bedroom, foyer and laundry rooms weren't even touched. Mirrors in the bathroom weren't wiped down. Piles of dead flies in the window sills (embarrassing for me that they were even there but inexcusable they remained after I had a professional cleaning service come in). None of the cupboard faces were wiped down, let alone any of the things I expected a deep cleaning to be. Sheets weren't changed. Dusting was token. Nothing was moved to reach behind any items. Spider webs were left alone. The front stoop wasn't swept. The list goes on. I thought that I'd try out the service because after working all week, I don't want to spend my weekend time cleaning. I thought that if I liked them I'd bring them in once or twice a month to do things I don't normally do. BAD IDEA. My 2 hours on the weekend bring me much better results than Ana's housecleaning ever could. What a waste. I'm writing this because I complained to Ana directly and have given her time to respond with a reasonable apology or solution... anything that says that my business is valued. So far, nothing. I don't write bad views lightly (or ever, really) but I'm posting this on Yelp because potential customers should know what they're getting.
