I called S.O.S. to do a bi-annual checkup on my annul system. Brandon and Juan came out the very next day and accomplished two things simultaneously; 1). Educated me on every aspect of this service. 2). Thoroughly examined my equipment and got everything up to speed in a couple of hours time. 3). searched throughout LA for a class K extinguisher which i needed in a pinch for my food truck. not many places are open on weekends but maureen at SOS was reachable on the phone and via yelp message. a few hours later we had the extinguisher and certificate for a reasonable price. highly recommended. read more

SOS Fire Services are sent by the heavens! I had to search for a new fire service to tag the extinguishers at my business. The previous company I had ( Sub-Zero Fire Protection) came to service today and wanted to charge quadruple the price of SOS, $50-$70 JUST to retag, yeah right. I told them to hold on retagging and give me a business card so I can contact them at a later time, they stated they didn't want to work with "cheap people" and threaten to call the Fire Department to give me a fine. Anyways, went on yelp found SOS with amazing reviews. There is a reason why the have 5 stars on Yelp! I requested a quote and was immediately responded to by Maureen. She sent out a technician the same day. The professionalism and knowledge these people have is insane. Our technician, Raymund, is very knowledgeable. I asked one too many questions and he was always there to give me answers with a smile on his face! Wonderful, quick service from the team with such great communication skills and professionalism. You can tell these people really want to just help. You can entrust them with all your fire service needs. They're open and honest, they don't try to oversell you on things you don't need. As a matter of fact they try to help you save as much as possible!! I have to get a new system installed and I'm sure everything will go smoothly. We had been using the same company at work for years to service our fire extinguisher, but last year didn't have a good experience with them, so when it came time to have our fire extinguisher serviced again this year I turned to Yelp for a new company. I couldn't have been happier with the results. I was able to call SOS Fire Services and make an appointment for the very next day and they were able to come out first thing in the morning (we are a spa, so it's best to get work done early in the morning to avoid noise when clients are getting services). Not only did they service the fire extinguisher quickly, they taught me how to do monthly maintenance and how to actually USE the fire extinguisher (which the other company never did). Before the technician left, they inquired about where we store the fire extinguisher... we had a cabinet that we hadn't installed yet for it, so they offered to install it for us. Not only did they make sure it was installed to meet the code, they rehung a picture for us that was hanging where we wanted to put the fire extinguisher. After we had completed our transaction, I went outside to throw away the packaging from the cabinet and saw that our neighbor had asked the technician for assistance with their fire extinguisher and they were helping them right then! I honestly can't tell you the last time I had such amazing customer service, I would and will recommend SOS Fire Services to anyone in the market! read more

I had my annual maintenance done today. The guys were quick and clean. They did they're job and were very polite and informative in what they did, and broke down the charges for me. The guys had they're team effort down, they worked together to get in and get out. They let me finish my customers orders as I was working around them in my restaurant. S.O.S Fire Services provides testing, repair and installation of all types of fire extinguishers. Our services comply with all state and local Fire Department requirements. We specialize in commercial, industrial, retail and residential apartment buildings in Los Angeles County, Orange county, Ventura County, SFV and the San Bernardino County. The State Fire Marshal Law requires that all fire extinguishing systems are inspected, tested and serviced regularly. S.O.S Fire Services offers testing, repair, maintenance and installation services for all types of fire suppression systems. All kitchen suppression systems tested, repaired and installed by S.O.S Fire Services comply with the UL 300 standard which requires an increase in the amount of wet chemical agent to be applied to cooking appliances. He gives great suggestions and keeps us coming back. Whenever we have questions regarding our fire system we always call and he or his wife is always there to pick up and help. Trust me people, this is an update from almost a year ago which shows that we are still satisfied even after the initial transaction. Most suppliers will install and leave you hanging. Zohar @ SOS Fire will offer extended customer service even after the initial sale. He doesn't play when it comes to safety and he knows exactly what he's doing. Fast and friendly and mobile with all the needed resources to get the job done. SOS Arrived to our facility on time, and without incident. They were prompt and extremely courteous while addressing our needs whilst keeping within the needed requirements of fire code. They were an absolute joy to work with and their servicing of our onsite gear was extremely efficient. What I thought would take longer for them to complete was done to perfection in half the time I expected. 5/5 Stars for SOS! Absolute lifesavers! We had an issue with our fire suppression system right in the middle of our lunch rush, leaving all our kitchen appliances without gas. Anyone in the restaurant industry knows that zero gas during peak hour is a total nightmare. We called SOS in a panic asking for urgent help, and they were at our doors in under an hour. They serviced the system, safely opened the gas line back up, and got our kitchen back online fast, saving us from massive downtime and a lot of lost revenue. On top of their fast response, their pricing was extremely fair and competitive, no taking advantage of our emergency. They've officially earned our business for good. I had to upgrade my hood system after calling multiple location near Woodland Hills SOS FIRE SERVICE Saved my business from closing. They helped me with all the permits and whatever it was required by my landloard and Fire department. Zohar was grrreat. He came when he said he would and explained everything he was doing while servicing our fire extinguishers. He explained why the fire extinguishers were placed where they were. He also let us know if a fire extinguisher wasn't needed in the particular area it was originally hung. When fire extinguishers were hung in another area he placed a sticker denoting a fire extinguisher. He spent all day at our community center making sure everything was done correctly. I would highly recommend Zohar to anyone looking for fire protection services. read more

I am opening up a restaurant, with my family, in Simi Valley. SOS Fire was recommended by a fellow restaurant owner and we were very satisfied with their work. Everything was done quickly, efficiently, and in a respectful and courteous manner. The fire department inspection took a while to get booked but that was on the department's end.
