I just ordered a small pizza and a small Greek salad. I got a bacon, mushroom and garlic pizza. I asked for extra feta cheese on my salad. WOW! Tremendous job the staff did. Very impressed by the quality, the freshness, and the presentation. As a chef myself, I highly recommend. 10 out of 10. Will 100% be coming back. And these guys are located near many other pizza places in Manchester. I have been to all of them. I won't be going anywhere else from now on! I ordered the house pizza and it was great. There the right amount of toppings which divided up equally on the whole pizza. The sauce could have used little more salt but that's just me. The crust had right amount of crunch and chew without it being too doughy. It was also delivered promptly. The driver called before knocking which also a nice touch. I have ordered from here several times including grinders and they all have good. The place itself is a more takeout spot than dine in. My only complaint is the lack parking when picking up the food. I ordered at 4. Come 5:30...TWICE the stated "arrive by" time so I checked my credit card. It was charged. So around 5:40 I called and the person on the phone denied ever receiving an order. Then he took my name and address down. After giving me a little speech about 'how this all works', and being called 'buddy' several times (not Mr. or Sir...) he then said "Okay, the order is voided.". No apology or explanation whatsoever. Shortly thereafter I was contacted by the 'App' I used to place the order. At least they had a Sorry and gave me a credit to my account. Right, the store 'never got my order' but charged me and uncharged me 'lickety-split'. From what I gather, either someone was using the tablet when I ordered or it was running some other program (like Playing music) which hid its sounds and vibrations from being noticed. They could at least have said "Sorry, we f'ed up and missed your order. It's a new App for us. We can give you a $5 discount and bring that to you within half an hour..." No, it's the fact they denied having received my order and were so quick to cancel it... And yes I've ordered online to the same place for a similar order before. I have been going to this place for pizza for many years and have not been disappointed, however, my girlfriend ordered a pizza tonight which was half cheese for the kids and half deluxe for her. When the pizza was delivered, it was half cheese as asked and half veggie deluxe. She does not eat broccoli and I asked her to call back and request that they deliver the proper pizza. The lady responded, we read back to you your order and refused to be anymore help. My girl is not a confrontational type so just accepted it as it was. I usually have a go to pizza join in Manchester but was craving NY thin crust pizza (and didn't want to leave to get it). Checking the reviews we settled on Sorrento's. It being football Sunday wings and pizza were a necessity. Calling in the order was quick and easy. The person who answered the phone was very nice. The pizza arrived hot and fresh, perfect combination of sauce and cheese on a traditional NY crust. The wings were extra crispy, which isn't really my style, but they did their job of satisfying the impending hunger. The garlic bread was a different addition to the combo we ordered (lg cheese, 10 wings, garlic bread and a 2 liter of soda for $20). I called today to place an order and was put on hold, I was put on hold for so long that I hung up and ordered from UberEats instead. I never spoke to them other then to get a 'please hold'. A little while later I get a call from a driver saying my order arrived, I informed him I never ordered from sorrentos and that he must have the information wrong. He told me the delivery address, which was not mine, not even the same street I live on. They clearly wrote the wrong number down for an order. I get off the phone with him and the store calls saying my food arrived. I explain that I never placed an order. She says well we have you on caller ID, to which I explain what I did to her driver. Just because I called does not mean I ordered. She's extremely rude to me and says fine, then you can never order here again. Excuse me? Are you kidding me? I called back and asked to speak to a manager because at this point I am livid. Not only have I been patient and nice to them when their incompetence is the reason for all of this BS. Now I get banned from the place because they assume I am a liar, I guess. Why would I call and order, then not want it? Makes no sense. When the other person calls asking where their order is they will finally realize what A-holes they were to me, for no good reason! I will preface this by saying that I'm from Long Island and I think that any pizza bought off the island is inferior, I wouldn't even get pizza before I found Sorrento's and I had sincerely missed it. My roommate actually brought home a few slices (yes, they sell slices!) from them one night and it looked so good I just had to try a piece. The crust is thin and crispy, the sauce is slightly sweet, and the cheese is perfectly greasy and gooey. The sauce/cheese/crust ratio is perfect. By far the best pizza I've had in CT. The place is also the quintessential pizza place. It's hot, there's only a few seats, you can see I to the kitchen, it's great. And the staff is friendly, I can't leave without striking up conversation with someone there. read more

I decided to try Sorrento's last night after it was recommended to me by someone. They market their pizza as "Brick Oven Italian Thin Crust". Typically I hate brick oven pizza because the crust is way too burned for my liking, but here they take it out early enough so that you can still recognize it as crust. Also there was very little sauce but somehow they make it work. Overall the pizza was surprisingly good. They deliver to Bolton and Manchester and if you order on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday you can get a large cheese for $7.95. read more
