We bought a box of 6 little jars of Vermont-made jams and some maple syrup to bring home to CA, as well as a maple flavored "cremee" (Vermont's version of soft serve ice cream) to eat there and some maple fudge. The cremee was excellent and loaded with maple flavor and just as good as the one at Vermont Cookie Love in Ferrisburgh. My husband got the fudge, and he loved it. They also have many bakery items, but we actually didn't buy any of that. We were quite satisfied with the ice cream and fudge. The Apple Barn is worth the stop and has lots to offer. I'd definitely make my way back here if in the area again.

My mom got a cookie last time she was in and wasn't impressed. The store actually had quite a few people shopping and only one employee who was running back and forth between the shop half and the bakery half of the store.
