Went there for Feast of the Seven Seas. The quality was good but did not leave feeling full. Their regular menu is always really good though. Go during happy hour for $5 off of pizza and pasta. Their clams and linguine is to die for

We bring the kids to Virginia Beach every summer and along with us comes the tourist hat for the heck of it because why not? As I travel a lot, I dine at Italian restaurants across the whole country and my wife is from New York City so our bar of expectation is ALWAYS high when it comes to Italian food, We originally had intended to dine here on our first night but when we were told it was an hour wait, we decided to pursue another nearby eatery. We arrived 10 minutes prior to our reservation just to give ourselves a little window. The restaurant itself is very nice and aesthetically pleasing. Our waiter Brad was also equally pleasant and hospitable so we expected good things. Unfortunately we were disappointed; the bread and appetizers took ages to come out. The pity of it was that the octopus was actually very decent. The olive dip was also good albeit drowning in too much olive oil which overpowered its natural flavor. For the entree my wife and kids got pizzas and I opted for the rigatoni. The entrees took absolutely goddamn ages fo come out; we were seated around 7:50pm and our entrees didn't arrive till about 8:30pm. Now I don't normally do a blunt review but I have to in this case. The rigatoni was goddamn rubbish, watery and had zero flavor it was as bland as a rock. I had to add salt and chili flakes give it some flavor. The pizza was just meh...and no fresh mozzarella on it? Come on guys. The side of mashed potatoes tasted good but the dish was drowning in butter/oil. The killer of it? Service was abysmal and extremely slow. There is promise but a A LOT of work to do here.

Ravioli stuffed with goat cheese with delicious meat sauce!

Enjoyed another wonderful evening with friends at Sorella's! Daniela was our server and was very enthusiastic and helpful. The food was amazing and everything was beautifully plated. We enjoyed the Oysters Sorella, the brochette, and the fried mozzarella for appetizers! The Oysters were the favorite with the brochette a close second. For entrees two people had the Crab Pasta special which was so good it just was outstanding with large pieces of crab meat in a creamy sauce! Two people enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan with two people having the seafood Chopino. Everyone was very happy with their entree! Of course we had desserts and coffee. What a fun delightful evening enjoying great food with good friends!

Sorella's is a MUST in Virginia Beach! Their homemade pasta is so good! The food, service, and ambience are all top notch. The short rib pasta was so good I came back two laters to eat it again. Great spot if you are in Virginia Beach!

I can't rave about this establishment enough. I have come at least seven times now and each time gets better and better. Along with the fresh and amazing food, the staff is always attentive and kind. They are knowledgeable of their menu items both regular and seasonal. I love the atmosphere. Parking is available on the side as well as valet.

Sorella's is an Italian eatery in Virginia Beach that has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. As you enter the space, there's artificial olive trees that look realistic with a contemporary rustic decor. It's not dim lighting but just enough to have a clear viewing experience My friends took me for my birthday that evening. The server was attentive and knowledgeable. He was both personable and prompt. The food was very savory. You could definitely tell the pastas were made in-house. We ordered a few dishes to share. The Peach & Porkbelly pizza had drizzle of honey with a peach jam. My only suggestion is that it needed to be more balanced. There wasn't enough peach jam and honey to elevate the savory taste. The mushroom pasta was also savory, but I'm not a big fan of dense pasta. Although I respect the freshly made noodles, it wasn't as delicious as the breaded chicken over the wide pasta. Our appetizer was Bucatini with shrimp and bacon. It was also savory and rich but I enjoyed it the most. Lastly, I liked the Spumoni dessert they made into my birthday cake but not anything special. I would give it a second chance the next time I'm in town. There's street and a parking garage. Plenty of places to dine at or shop on that strip.

If you are looking for a sign that a restaurant loves what they do- look no further than the bathroom at Sorellas! The pasta themed Wallpaper in the bathroom is pays tribute to the magic of what they do and a true testament to the craft. And believe me that dedication pays off! The in house pasta is incredible- so incredible that I'm pretty sure the lumanche is one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life! We hit up happy hour and tried a bunch of different dishes. The martini espresso, house made limoncello, and tiramisu were also outstanding! The staff went above and beyond to celebrate a few birthdays on the group. They even made a custom sign for us. Sorellas is a new favorite place and I'm already dreaming of my next visit!

Thank you fellow Yelpers! Decided to give this place a chance this evening after reviewing the reviews and menu. Walked over here from the hotel we were staying and enjoyed a glass of wine while I waited for my food to be ready. Was kind of disappointed to arrive back to the hotel and learn the bruschetta I ordered was made with meat, when clearly on my receipt in big bold red letters with exclamation marks noted "NO MEAT!!!" By this time it was after 10pm so I called and the manager on duty Vincent not only remembered my order he tried to remedy the situation and I appreciated him for that. My salad was ok...the pasta was delicious. Simple and tasty. Full of flavors. The restaurant was busy, bar area was full and there were plenty of patio outdoor seating. If I wasn't on auntie duty I would've loved to sit out on the patio and enjoy the evening. This place seemed perfect for a date night, wine night, girls night out. I love all things wine so this is definitely my kind of place. Can't wait to venture back down & bring my hubby! Happy Yelping!

We came during happy hour and were seated right away which was a great start to the experience! I had the Sorella pizza, focaccia bread, and whipped ricotta; everything was outstanding. The whipped ricotta was one of my favorite apps as it was light, had the perfect balance of sweetness , and complemented the rest of my meal. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Have been meaning to try this restaurant at the Oceanfront , after receiving our meals my mom and are so glad we did! Since we opted to sit outdoors I brought my pup so she can enjoy sitting outside on the patio with us as well. We ordered: The Ravioli - such a simple yet complex dish from the combination of protein and cheese flavors Lasagne - perfectly stacked to encompass the ideal balance of meat and noodle Bruschetta - Airy and fluffy bread with a delight crunch to the outer crust with toppings as delicately bitten together Calamari - Fried to perfection! Nothing less nothing more

    Oyster rockefeller

Nice Italian restaurant located off Baltic Avenue near the oceanfront. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately and service was moderate. The food was average. Prices were moderate. The ribeye and halibut lacked seasoning and flavor. The oyster rockefeller was good.

So glad we were able to have dinner at Sorella's. Our reservation was on a Friday night and it was definitely busy but service was still great. We ordered Oyster Sorellas and brussel sprouts. I was worried because I saw another review saying the brussel sprouts were bad but they were perfect. The whipped ricotta base was a perfect taste against the crispy chili Brussel Sprouts. The oysters were also really good. I was surprised how much I liked them in comparison to other restaurants in the area. I ordered chicken Parmesan and my fiancé ordered the veal Parmesan. Both came with spaghetti. Mine was a perfect size but we were shocked at the veal cut. It was such a large sized portion. Both were very delicious. I can see why the veal is a favorite. With all that food we didn't have enough space for dessert. We will have to come back to try them

One of the best happy hour deals in Virginia Beach. You get $5 off pasta and pizza and the best shrimp and squid calamari ever! Such a great deal and they all taste so good.

I would absolutely purchase a jar of the sauce alone. CRAB RANGOON FLATBREAD : an elevated version of a favorite take out additive. Sauce to ingredient ratio was to die for! GREEN GODDESS & MANGO SALAD : this salad was dressed to perfection, allowing all items to shine in its each individual way. CHILI CRUNCH TUNA POKE : I mean you quite literally will explode with satisfaction with every bite. The freshness and variety of flavor / texture is impeccable. FRIED RICE W/EGG ON SIDE : you can absolutely distinguish that whoever is on the line preparing your fried rice is doing so with the experience in mind. The preparation of the shrimp, the array of colored FRESH vegetables, and the rice itself. DIRTY MARTINI FETTUCINE PASTA : a blue cheese olive dirty martini is my all time favorite drink so lo and behold, there was a pasta created by its existence. The block of blue cheese down to the plethora of capers, absolute chefs kiss. BBQ DUCK : honestly if this was all I ordered , I would be more than satisfied. This item was accompanied by the most decadent Mac & Cheese , a perfected bowl of collard greens, and the pickled mountain of cabbage. STRAWBERRY CRUMB CRÈME BRÛLÉE : for the most part , I tend to stray away from a crème brûlée due to the lack of creativity. HOWEVER, the strawberry crunch crumbs and that dream of a sugar crust. I could clear a couple plates of this. PASSIONFRUIT & PANDAN TART : this hit every note of a well rounded dessert. The passionfruit was so tart with a subtle sourness that aided the coconut shortbread cookie. I would like to shout out our waitress Fantasia for an amazing service that evening by ensuring the plates never stopped coming, drinks stayed full, and any requests satisfied. As well as Chef Braedon for coming out to introduce himself and explain the magic he placed on our table. My friends and I will most definitely be back.

Great food, outstanding service, an enjoyable wine tasting, and a wonderful overall experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

All 3 of us chose sweet for our wine tasting. Our server was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable about the wine. You get to taste one wine on each category listed on your menu. The samples of each wine are a generous pour. Some Wineries I've visited, do not provide big enough samples to determine if you like them enough to buy a bottle or not. Sweet Red was my favorite. Sweet Red is currently known as Romance Red. It changes names Seasonally. Dinner was outstanding. I had Gnocchi with Roasted Butternut Squash, Wild mushrooms, Sweet onion cream, Spinach, Feta and Crispy onions. It was a very tasty meal. My Great Niece chose the Pork chop and said it was the best she had ever had. My Niece had a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad which she said was delicious. I had a very enjoyable afternoon with my Nieces. We will definitely return to Cooper's Hawk soon.

Wine is made on site in the distillery and she has been in business for 8 years. We visited on a Saturday and there was a couple of vendors on site selling merchandise. 5 bucks for 6 samples is definitely reasonable. We indulged in the fruit infused wines, draft wines and slushies. I must say the draft wines were delicious and I wished those were bottled so I could have brought them home. All in all great places and would definitely stop in again.

We were the only patrons for much of our visit. My birthday daughter and I ordered wine sample flights and chatted up the owner. Wife shopped the gift area and picked out a nice bauble. The good: the owner was very engaging and told us about the wines (and wine slushies) they offer. We asked where the grapes came from and she explained that some came from Chile, some from California (I believe) and other places, and that she blends them here. (This would be expected with no attached vineyard.) The place was very clean, and the restrooms were easily accessible and spacious. The price of the flights was a mere $5 for six communion cup sized samples -- you choose 6 of I guess 12 - 15. Mulled wine is a welcome option on a winter day. The disappointing: While there is a good assortment of wines, and many were on the good side of okay, none stood out and said BUY A BOTTLE OF ME. The fruity sweet wines were VERY sweet, not really good for dessert wine or sipping. (Sorry.) But again, the reds especially were drinkable and pleasant. Verdict: a good stop if you need a break and a glass or two to go with your conversation. Just don't set expectations too high and you'll be fine.
