Twinkle, Twinkle Little Spa, How I Wonder When will i see you again !…read more After multiple rendezvous at the oh-so-divine Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa ‍‍, my wallet strings have done some serious acrobatics! Here's the 411: it's the epitome of cleanliness, and they're dishing out friendliness like it's the new black. Facials? Oh, ma'am, they pamped my pores like they're prepping it for its own Vogue cover shoot! Massage, though? Still on my self-care bucket list. #MassageMystery Now, let's talk about my excursion into the world of 'crossing'. Attempted to cross into the realm of the svelte and trim with their tummy transformation promises. The verdict - I'm every bit the charming fluffy KING I was, just about $2000 lighter! But hey, fluffy is fabulous, and my laughs per dollar ratio is off the charts! So, would I go back? For the royal facial treatment - in a heartbeat. For the 'crossing' - maybe when I'm ready to cross off another comedic adventure. Stay fluffy, stay fabulous, and remember: not all who wander into a spa come out transformed, some just come out with a great facial and a good story. ‍ (Unfortunately, I have no pictures of anything, well I do but I'm not going to show you my fat LOL This is not a peep show .) #SpaDayEveryday #FacialQueen #StayFluffy #FluffyAndFabulous #MoneyWellSpentQuestionMark #BeautyAdventure #GoodVibesOnly #CleanAndSerene #SelfCareJourney #LaughingAllTheWayToTheSpa #HandAndStoneChronicles #FacialsForTheWin #UnfliteredBeautyTalk #$$$AndSmiles

Make sure you're aware that when you start a membership with Hand & Stone that if you try to…read morecancel, you will have to pay an extra month even if you were just drafted and haven't used your balance yet as a 30 day notice fee. This extra month does get credited to your account, but in my situation I find this very unreasonable. I tried to cancel my appointment on the 30th. There's no way to cancel online. I called on the 30th 3 times and couldn't get an answer on the phone. I also tried calling another location that I've been using 4 times with no answer. On the 31st I called again and was able to reach someone the first try. It takes 1-3 business days to process any request that changes your membership whether you freeze or cancel. They suggested I just freeze my account and that they would try their best to get it in before I'm charged on the 3rd. I checked my email continuously the next few days to no avail. Of course, I ended up being charged on the 3rd. Disappointing as I am cancelling due to financial constraints, but I was warned it could happen so whatever. Well today on the 7th I called again to just go ahead and cancel because after consideration I really just don't want the membership anymore due to this. On the phone today I was told that "I called on the 31st, they sent out the email to freeze on the 2nd, and I was billed on the 3rd." However, I received the email to freeze on the 3rd after I was already billed. They then tell me that yes, I will have to pay for an additional month where I will be billed on the 7th of May. So basically, I'd spent a couple hours on the 30th, and most of the day the 31st, 1st, and 2nd stressing over this to only be charged for a service on the 3rd I tried to cancel, then at least freeze believing it would be easier...and now next month I'm going to have to pay an additional $79.99 for a service I don't even want. Overall the services I've received the past few months at the secondary location I'd been using primarily due to it being closer to me were nice, and I loved the staff there. The staff at this location were friendly as far as I've experienced but I've only been there twice and talked to them now twice on the phone. I do feel like it's a little overpriced for what you get, but it is still something nice to do for yourself. My low rating is purely due to the lack of leeway in their membership despite me trying to cancel since the 30th, and no one informing me of their cancellation policy until today. This should be something informed to you when you sign up.

This was taken from my review on Google. The owner hyper-focused on my "limiting mobility" without…read moreactually addressing the quality or performance of the service itself. Edit: I am including this part in response to the owner. The only mobility issue I have is I can't stand long. My laying on the chair/bed with a knee bolt has no way, shape, or form, any impact on the quality or performance of the service. Because laying for your service is a standard. But on a serious note, please inform me. Apart from having a knee cushion under me, what parts of the service was "adapted" for me? So I know what the baseline and changes were. You were made aware of my limited mobility, as I said over the phone that I cannot stand long and you responded that you have a mechanical chair that moved into a flat bed, and that there is a knee bolt and option for lumbar support. So there would be no standing involved. It still doesn't answer the question of what parts of the service was "adapted" for me, and it doesn't explain why the back half of my head was neglected. I digress. Actual review: I got a 60 minute service and was genuinely underwhelmed and disappointed in myself for spending over 200 dollars (including tip) on this. I work in customer service so I try to tip well, but this just felt like a waste. Technician never checked in with me about the pressure, the bottom half of my head felt super neglected. The only times she "lifted" my head up was to place/remove towel and a zippered-bonnet. And by lift, I would feel pressure on the crown of my head, nudging me to lift my head. When she nudged me to turn my neck to get the sides, the back of my head and hair was barely touched and it was mostly neck strokes. Like literal stroking down my neck. It could've been nice, but she focused on my right side more and breezed through my left side so it was uneven but whatever. When product was directly applied to my scalp, she stopped at the top of my head. So imagine if I'm wearing headphones, and that was like a hard boundary. That's where she stopped. In the end, my scalp feels like there's residue from the products, my back half of the head doesn't feel clean and just feels like soapy water runoff was just chillen there. If I scratch my scalp, there's literal gunk under my nail from the products used. I also asked for a receipt be sent to my phone, which I am still waiting on. So yeah. I envy those who genuinely had really good experiences here. But for someone who just had surgery and can't stand long, I was really looking forward to a good clean. Super disappointed and underwhelmed, and the 30 minute drive made it feel more like a waste of money.

My hair and hands needed the most love and boy did they get it! The chair is incredibly comfortable and the neck, shoulder, and arm, massage left me feeling like I melted. I highly recommend this service as a luxurious way to treat yourself or a loved one. This would be a fabulous treat for an anniversary, teacher appreciation, birthday, or other special recognition.
