Backstory- Back in the day, that would be 1935, Steve Maxwell was a big-time citrus grower. He had over 100 acres and opened this quaint little store to showcase his fruit and the packing house behind it to process it. Today, Steve is getting on in years and has leased this quaint country store to some fine folks from Frostproof. Atmosphere- An old-fashioned front porch with rocking chairs for enjoying the Florida weather. An immaculate old-style interior will all manner of citrus based food and paraphernalia. One of the highlights is orange ice-cream! Grab some, sit in the rockers and let the stress fall away. The little ankle-biters will love it! Our server, Herbie, greeted us at the door with a smile and seated us promptly. The restaurant was fairly busy. The atmosphere was cheerful with lively conversations. Herbie was very attentive and friendly. Our party of four ordered an appetizer of Beer Battered Mushrooms for the table. They were piping hot and tasty. Herbie also brought garlic breadsticks for us to share. I ordered the Greek Salad. It proved to be one of the best salads I have eaten at a restaurant. The ingredients were fresh, crisp, abundant and delicious. No need for a take home box. I finished the entire thing! The rest of our party was equally satisfied. The pork chops were tender and flavorful and filling. We thoroughly had a delightful evening and look forward to returning in the near future. I highly recommend Olympic Restaurant.

I've consumed tons of fast food or fast casual food. Somehow, I've never visited Culver's. Yup, I'm a Culver's virgin so off I went for lunch on their Grand Opening day. Arriving- These fine folks are just off US Route 27 South, so they are easy peasy to find. They have a drive-thru, very nice curb-side delivery and a decent parking lot for dining in. Handicap parking is great. The App- I planned on curb-side delivery but like most virgins, I was a little nervous! I didn't want them to know it was my first time! The app was just fine and allowed me to figure out my choices. I entered the color, make, and model of my car and told the app to make it happen. Ambience- I can't speak to the inside, but the ambience of the parking lot is just great! The signage and lane markings are spot on. Customer Service- I waited in my car for about 4 minutes and a very nice young lady delivered my food. Four minutes is nothing, so I was quite pleased. Food- I went with the Double Deluxe ButterBurger, and a medium Onion Rings at about $13. I brought it home and plated it and you can see my picture. So far, my virginal experience was just great! So, I had my first Culver's orgasm with the ButterBurger! Great bun and build. Juicy tasty meat and fresh toppings. An overall great burger. My neighbors were complaining about my moans of ecstasy! I ordered shrimp dinner basket with fries and cheese curds. The service took over 30 min which I thought took too long especially since I was the only one there. The shrimp and fries were fresh but the cheese curds were not so great they were cold. I've had fresh cheese curds before at Culver's and they taste delicious but this time I couldn't even eat these. The outside of the establishment was clean and neat even had a little sitting area outside.
