Stay far away from this place. I went and got my air conditioner fixed. They charged me $600 for 2 lines. They only fixed one line went back in 2 weeks because it stopped getting cold. Which it could have been sooner. It was rainy so I didn't use my air conditioner. Go back for them to fix it. And now he's saying, it's the compressor and while I'm in the waiting room. Another guy that they fixed his air conditioners stopped working too. They are a joke. Stay far away from this company. read more

Came to get an oil change. That went smooth. Asked if they could adjust my headlight, said it was fine if it was too much work. They spent 30 minutes on it just to tell me that they couldn't and to bring it back the next day, which was also fine and understandable. However, they charged me for half an hour of labor, but they never fixed the bulb. Had the bulb been fixed, no problem in paying for it. But to be charged the same amount for fully fixing the headlight, even though it wasn't fixed was not right. If it was that hard, it shouldn't take half an hour to diagnose that you won't be able to get it done instead of charging me the same as if the job was completed. I've only had 1 oil change here but they have my business for now. I've never been and have an old 4runner which most oil change places will nickel and dime during changes. I walked in and the guy said it was synthetic only changes, itd be 20 mins, and cost $52. This was before I told them make and model. They didn't add any extra fees or hide costs like disposal of everything and whatnot. They also didn't try to fix anything that they saw or con me into work done (and it needs it so they had an opportunity to do this. The change took about 20 mins and it was $52. Only downside is that the waiting room is right next to the work area and has no sound proofing so it's loud. read more

This was the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Original took truck in for an alignment, one lie after another, then finally ending with a $1700 bill and no alignment. Forced to pay in order to get my truck, I used discover, in process of disputing charge now. When picking up truck the old hubs lay beside building beat all to pieces, evidently they did not have the proper equipment to pull them. Final invoice has different part number than what ended up on vehicle. Unbelievable! In process of taking truck to a professional for repair of damages done by this company and consulting an attorney for litigation. read more

I took my car in on a Saturday morning because it had a buzzing noise and I had no idea what it was. I dropped the car off and received a phone call from them within an hour about the problem stemming from me needing a new muffler. They said they could go to OKC and pick one up and solder a new one on and get the car to me soon after lunch, and that's exactly what they did. They were very nice on top of that! FYI, it's in the garage of the Sinclair gas station (where the green dinosaur is). Honest and quick service, can't ask for much more than that. read more

They were absolutely wonderful! They got me in on the same day my car broke and it was done within two hours. They also called me when there was a possibility that I thought broke didn't and called again to ask about replacing a belt. They even showed leave the broken belt when I picked it up. I thought they were very honest people but they disregarded my description of trouble and went with strictly codes. They never experienced the problem but by the codes they put in a $600 repair and the problem continued. Problem was a $127 battery cable which they fixed. When asked about the $600 repair I was told I needed it even tho the problem persisted. I paid in good faith and they did not repair in good faith. Disgusted!! read more

I had previously written a review (a negative) one because Sooner Auto has been a pain from the get go. In September of last year Sooner auto worked in my vehicle (replacing the timing chain and bridge as well as some other parts). They said this would fix my vehicle but when I got it back, there was still an issue. Long story short, they didn't fix my car and I took it somewhere else. My vehicle continued to have issues and finally broke to the point I couldn't drive it. At this point I wrote a consumer review to warn other potential customers about their shoddy work. They saw my review and were upset and asked if they fixed my car if I would take it down. I agreed to this thinking that we could end this amicably but how wrong I was. They diagnosed my vehicle as having a broken camshaft and said thy they would install the camshaft for free if I purchased the part and took the review down. I agreed and purchased the part. After installing the part (at a snails pace I might add), I picked up my vehicle. It appeared to be fixed. I drove my vehicle less than a month before it started to display the same problem. Having learned my lesson, I took my vehicle to a reputable auto shop (dealership). They tore down my engine and made a horrible (albeit not surprising) discovery.... sooner auto installed multiple things wrong. Upon examining the camshaft and spooler valve, they discovered it was installed UPSIDE DOWN. They also discovered that the camshaft timing was not done right and was causing numerous problems. There was magnet oil passing through the camshaft which caused my wires to short into each other. They also looked at the timing chain and discovered that the bridge was installed incorrectly and this caused my camshaft to break (because the camshaft was not able to advance or retard as needed). The quote to fix my vehicle (all this damage was completely preventable if Sooner Auto installed the parts correctly)? $5,000. I then had an insurance adjuster come out and inspect my vehicle (attempting to get the vehicle fixed without going back to sooner) and they corroborated the shops findings.... so not only do I have ONE place saying Sooner messed up, I have TWO! When we called Sooner to set up them replacing my camshaft (because at this point I have no funds left to sink into a vehicle that Sooner has repeatedly broken), they said they weren't liable for their work because they did it for free (even though the bridge was paid for out of pocket, this being covered under their shop warranty). I asked for proof of this as they are alleging I signed something releasing them for liability associated with the camshaft but they will not provide proof. I have called no less than 6 times (and my Significant other has called 3 times) to talk to the shop about this and obtain this paper and the rude individual who answers the phone always has some excuse .... "I don't know where the form is", "the person you need to talk to isn't in" etc.... as to why they can't produce the paperwork. I have since filed complaints with the City of Norman, the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, the State Attorney General AND have obtained a lawyer and am in the process of filing a lawsuit against them. I urge you- for the sake of your money, time, vehicle and sanity - do NOT take your car to them if they were the last mechanic on earth. I would rather walk everywhere rather than having to deal with these individuals ever again. I'm sure I'll get some backlash from the auto shop on this and I'm sure they'll cry slander but it's only slander if what I'm saying isn't true (and I have documentation to prove all of what I am saying and will gladly provide it to anyone who asks). Please please please do not waste your hard earned money at this shop. read more

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE BUSINESS. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! I took my truck in for service and paid $400 and within a mile of picking my truck up, my whole engine and hood caught on fire. I literally had to jump through fire to get out of my truck. Troy, the owner, said he doesn't feel like he should reimburse me my $400 that I paid. Also, my truck was broken into and stuff was stolen while sitting at the shop. Terrible customer service! Save yourself the money and go somewhere more reliable. read more
