I was looking for a place to get my eyebrows threaded but had no luck and found this place on short notice here on yelp, I was a little skeptical at first but it was the best decision I made!! The place was easy to find, and once I arrived I signed in and waited for a few mins,then the lady came out and did the eyebrows on a customer ahead of me,then took me in. I loved how my eyebrows came out, I just told her that I was looking to get them cleaned and shaped up and she did exactly what I wanted! and the pricing was wonderful and convenient! definitely coming back asap! I would really recommend this place. I have been coming here since it opened, and since day one they've been so nice and have excellent customer service. Sonu, not only has such a great way to treat me but I see she treats everyone so great. So do the other girls they work so hard. Aside having great prices they have such a clean place. So it's been quite some time since I've had my eyebrows threaded but the ladies here are so gentle. My eyes water all the time but the pain was very bearable. I originally came in to have sonu do my eyebrows but aratia did such an amazing job also! Highly recommend. Both ladies are good. Great job on my eyebrows. I have never been here before, and I like to try new places that look great and clean inside, and have nice reviews and a good clientele base. Usually places like this try to do little things for clients, and take pride in their work. I'm not a needy person, but I definitely enjoy that they have a good price, love what they do, and if you get ten services done you get the 11th free. That's a good bonus, and one I'm never in the market for, since I don't need them to downgrade their quality, and offer a good deal, especially when it comes to brows. My brows are a disaster, mainly Bc I over plucked them in the 90s, and went to cosmetology school. So I normally just pluck the occasional stray hair myself. This time I challenged myself to grow em out. I gave em a disaster to work with, stray hairs, scars, and gaps, and they came out lovely, it will be so easy to go home and apply my brow mascara and gel, now that I have a great shape to work with. They are quick, and they communicate. Some places just look at my brows and say oh god...she went straight to work and knew what to do. read more

Sonu Threading opened very recently since the threader used to work at Orange Mall before she opened up her own business. I was trying to find local, cheap eyebrow threading salons nearby my relatives' place who I visit from time to time, and I have now for sure found my go-to salon in Orange! Arati was extremely courteous and attentive, especially given the very affordable price. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my eyebrows to look like, and she successfully copied it accurately. I really liked how I felt her carefully remove every individual stray hair and cleaned the areas around my eyebrows as well. Arati is efficient but still takes her time with you to make sure your eyebrows look perfect. The salon also adds the nice personal touches of trimming with scissors and antiseptic cleaning. Since the salon is currently in its grand opening phase, the price was very cheap at only $5.99, excluding tip. I'm not sure if it will stay at $6 for returning customers while the salon is in its grand opening phase, or if it's only offered for first time customers. Stamp card provided where the 10th visit is a free eyebrow threading service. I will be sure to come back here frequently when I'm in the area! read more

Haven't been completely satisfied with my usual threading place so I decided to give this place a try and I'm glad I did. Came here on a Thursday night and it wasn't busy at all. I was greeted by Kamala while she was working on a customer. After signing in, I was waiting for less than five minutes before it was my turn. The usual threading place I go to has been a bit careless since they've gotten more customers and compared to my experience at Sonu Threading, this has refreshed my standards of threading salons. Kamala took her time in doing my eyebrows and forehead and was very kind and informative when I asked about their other services. I was very happy with the result (wish I took a picture of before and after) and then was offered some aloe after, which I always accept since it's so cooling on the skin. The big thing that stood out to me was that the threading did not hurt at all. It was a major difference from my usual place and I'm thinking it could be the type of thread that they use. Threading has never been very painful for me and I've been doing it for 4+ years but after going here, I noticed I wasn't wincing as much. Also, prices are about the same as most places (within $1-$2 difference) and they do not offer a student discount here (like the other place). Though, I don't mind spending a couple extra bucks for BETTER results and LESS pain. Brows are $8 and forehead is $6. read more

My mom turned me onto threading a few years back and had me go to another salon and see the gal she liked, Sonu. When I went in a few weeks back to get threaded the gals told me she was gone. My mom saw this sign for the new salon and I checked it out to see if she was there and lo and behold she was! So glad we found our favorite gal again! She does a very thorough job and doesn't over thread. She listens to what you want to accomplish looks wise and does a great job! She has always been very clean and supplies antiseptic wash afterwards to help soothe the irritation and calm the skin (especially if you are like me and wait to long until you have a full blown mustache before you go in). Do not waste your time coming here. They do not value loyal customers. Walked in during business hours and the lady said she could not help me because she was closing early. I have been coming here for months and drive about 20 minutes here and this is the last time. It looks like they have been turning down other loyal customers during business hours.
