Here you will find a number of shops|stores that have gone out of business back home. Never did I think I would be running into a Sweet Candy, Shekh, Surf City Squeeze, and Choice!! This indoor shopping center opened its doors in 1984 and is Sonoma's largest multi-level mall. Coming here and seeing how alive this mall is was truly a breath of fresh air. Aside from a few malls thriving where I'm from, a number of shopping plazas that I've visited are deserted ghost towns. The food court isn't anything amazing but it sure does the job. I don't mind strictly coming here to shop and grabbing a bite to eat elsewhere. 5/5 stars, I hope this joint stands the test of time. I am so glad I stumbled across Santa Rosa Plaza and will make my way here each and every time I am in the neighborhood.

Since we don't have a major mall in Sonoma County, it is exciting to have access to some of the newer, bigger brand stores including Anthropologie, Free People, Vuori, Mendocino Farms, Salt & Straw, and more. I recently visited on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and needless to say, it was BUSY and the parking lots were pretty full. If some seemingly sweet middle-aged blonde woman offers you a cup of juice, ignore her or refuse it, she does the exact same scam in the plaza while on her break. Her method is that she'll claim that the person stole the juice and that they owe her $15. Because she's an employee of a business she has more of the say than any random civilian walking around town, and the police are easily swayed to take cash from anyone. Also if you walk by the Rialto you might get hit in the head by a security guard for no reason other than he's mentally ill, and everyone likes hiring autistic security guards because they're nice and friendly normally. Basically if you see a Cadillac or a Buick you're about to get screwed for any cash you might be carrying as well as any personal belongings that the fraudsters want their hands on.

At this particular location, I noticed they had different clothes than the Petaluma location as well as different colors and patterns so I was rather interested in this location versus the downtown Petaluma Boutique. Both places were priced about the same as any other boutique so nothing too crazy but shirts were about $30 and sweaters were about $45. They did have a number of different styles of jackets at this particular location also. I will definitely come back again!!

This was our experience - - so amazing!. It's nearly impossible to walk in, look at everything and walk out without buying some thing! Mad Mod Shop offers a wide diversity of beautiful things and unique clothing made on-site by Andrea, master seamstress, and all-around positive vibes woman. I found a beautifully crafted hair tie and asked if there were more, so my daughter and I would have matching ties. She looked through the basket and said that she would make one on the spot! We had a bit more shopping to do, so we returned to discover a pair of beautifully matched hair ties in a beautiful, sturdy fabric that will last for years. We also couldn't pass up some of the delectable chocolates, staring at us from behind a glass case, wanting to be eaten, lol! 3-hour free street parking.
