Sonoma is located right at the entrance to the North Terminal at Gatwick Airport. There was a queue but it passed by quickly and we were given the menu to look at while we waited. The restaurant was busy, bright, colorful and friendly. We decided to order fried calamari for our appetizer, the rigatoni pasta which had chicken along with it, chicken tenders with fries, a coconut smoothie and a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The calamari came very quickly and was not bad at all, the crust had some whole grains with it and it was placed on top of a salad... so very healthy! The pasta came and we asked to remove all the meat except the chicken and they did it wonderfully. There was some more than usual and the taste went with the cheese perfectly. The chicken tenders were a bit plain but they weren't that bad. Finally the brownie and ice cream was great. They gave it with the food so by the time we got to it, the ice cream started melting. The smoothie cane quickly but there was no sweetness or fruity, coconut flavor. You could taste some grains and that was about it. The ice cream tasted a bit different as if it was made as healthy as possible and the brownie was light in the sugar as well. Our only problem is, in their attempt to make the food healthy they lacked in flavor in some of the food. The tenders and smoothie were tasteless, and the dessert wasn't exactly sweet.

Busy restaurant in the north terminal. Cali style food. Not a ton of healthy options. Opted for rhe green smoothies and it was very good.

This is a humble independent cafe selling decent coffee and excellent home cooked food. The owner Elina hails from the Oseta region of south Russia and has brought some of the local cooking knowledge with her to breezy Brighton, and you can tell. The food is exquisite, cooked to perfection and the menu is packed with inventive recipes. Specials change regularly and there is plenty of choice on the regular menu. I recommend the Oseta's House, a delightful dish of scrambled egg with halloumi, tomato, and spinach... it really is to die for! Coffee is good (to this writer's taste buds anyway, but I'm no coffee aficionado) and there are plenty of other choices on the drinks menu. Honestly, if you haven't been here you need to get down immediately. Right now. Drop what you're doing this instant. You won't regret it.

I had the avocado and smoked salmon on sourdough the first time and the fennel sausage and lentil stew the second time. I also had a brilliant fresh lemon and ginger tea and the staff were brilliant - really chatty and friendly, but not invasive. It was the right balance between informal and professional and I really appreciated it. I even left with a slice of Guinness cake (which was to die for). I really love this little spot, and certainly will be back to try the meat and cheese dishes.

English breakfast time!!!…read more What we ordered: Full English 10/10 with scrambled eggs bacon, sausage toast My partner ordered this. He loved it. In fact, he keeps talking about the full English breakfast and wants it again lol Full Veggie 10/10 with scrambled eggs veggie meat 2 pieces of toast This was sooo yummy! I ate the veggie meal with eggs, toast, hash browns, backed beans, veggie sausage, and avocado. It was so good! I loved the hash browns and baked beans. Baked beans sound so weird to me to have for breakfast! But it was delightful. Very berry smoothie to go (had to catch our flight, so I took this to go!) My smoothie was delicious! Since it was made with raspberries, it has little seeds in it. Which I didn't care for, but it's unavoidable with the raspberries.

After several Google services, I came across Dotty's website, it is well put together and really grabbed my attention Seeing Dotty's in real life was like a dream. The establishment is beautifully decorated and you can tell the owner really invested in the place and the people who work there. There is a pink bicycle parked outside, the establishment is pink, the decor is very elegant--perfect for a photo op I opt to do the afternoon tea with Prosecco added on as well as some scones to go. It was a very fair price per person. Under £80 for the entire experience for 2 people. They also sell other assorted desserts, shakes and cakes All the employees were attentive, they explained in detail what our package came with and they made sure we were happy from start to finish. EVERYTHING was delicious! From the English tea down to the Pimms jello HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10!!

I stumbled on the listing while doing a search for tea places before I left Washington, DC to travel to London. Unfortunately I didn't make the reservation myself (relied on family in London to make it) so we didn't get booked for the afternoon tea service as I'd hoped and just had a reserved table instead. Still, I indulged in some scones with cream and strawberry jam, paired with a strong cup of decaf English breakfast tea. The staff is very friendly and took the time to explain the drink and pastry options to us. I hope I get a chance to visit again for the full tea service before the end of my trip!

We ordered the English breakfast of various sizes (they have small, standard and large), and we all found the sausage and beans to be bland. It was nice that the tea/coffee/hot chocolate all included free refills, convenient if you were trying to while away hours during a layover, but for someone wanting a quick meal, the upcharge for that convenience wasn't necessary or wanted. Also, the seats are not particularly comfortable, so I cannot imagine wanting to stay longer than the time required to eat a meal.

I got the Pesto, Mozzarella and Tomato Sandwich with Fries and a side of garlic bread. The sandwich was pretty bland - the pesto didn't have much taste and the cheese was also pretty subpar. The bread was not as crispy as it should be in a panini-style sandwich. All of this made it really tough to finish the sandwich. The fries were also not great. I saw that my friend got very crispy fries so I was excited but mine ended up being pretty soggy and got cold pretty quickly. The best part of the meal was the side of garlic bread - it was crispy and easy to chew but full of flavor. Unfortunately, though, it did not come with any marinara sauce on the side so I had to make do with a spontaneous mix of ketchup and mayonnaise. I guess if you're desparately hungry in an airport come here, but other than that you can find other places.
