I took an appointment one hour after they called. Amazing, same day service! I have been to this location a few times in the last year or so for imaging and had ok service but this last appointment was good. I did have to wait about 30 minutes but the time went by quickly. One of the desk gals asked waiting patients if they would like a glass of water while they were waiting, she quickly obliged. When was the last time that happened to you in a medical office? The desk staff were polite and got the paperwork handled quickly. The MRI tech was polite and professional. There is generally a good vibe and good humor among all of the employees I encountered. This is a busy office yet it seems to run well now. My experience this time was better than in the past. The only problem with this visit has nothing to do with Imaging Specialists but with the parking. This building now uses Metropolis which is an awful parking system. You are forced to use it and you cannot pay with the swipe of a card or cash. Metropolis uses cameras and you must download an app or call them and go through a big hassle to pay. Metropolis has been sued and had to settle for millions for deceptive practices, overcharging, difficulty obtains refunds, big fines and now some sketchy parking company has a lot of your personal information. Just NO. The building should offer a better parking experience and so should the lot just down the street.

Doctors you want results to be sent to -- What their number, then doctor name and location if there is more than one. *Note in the next appt with Helen about the mammogram. 2) Provider's Order for an Imaging Exam. Since my insurance was attached in the email reminded fill out, and is covered, I don't need one. Still keep my appt. 3) You receive a text -- Please take a few moments to answer some questions about your family's medical history, prior to your arrival for your appointment. -- Don't trust system. They said sometimes it doesn't fill out correctly and still you need to come in early to do the forms. After the imagining is done. My 2 referring doctors will get my results in a week. I'll have to contact those doctors to get my results.

Terrible Billing Practices & Unprofessional Behavior -- BEWARE!…read more I had an extremely disappointing experience with Women's Imaging Center and Dr. Morris-Chong's office. We were charged $250 up front for a screening that our insurance, Blue Shield, confirmed was covered 100%. Blue Shield was shocked that this facility charged us the way they did. While billing mistakes can happen, the real problem was how the office handled (or rather, mishandled) the situation. Even after we sent them the official Explanation of Benefits clearly showing full coverage with no copay, they continued to deny the facts, gaslight us, and insist that our insurance required payment. We had to get Blue Shield directly involved, and they confirmed not only that the visit should have cost $0, but that they had already paid the center -- meaning the office attempted to double-dip from both us and the insurance. To make matters worse, trying to get a refund was a nightmare. Front desk staff like Barbara C. dodged calls and gave the runaround, claiming she didn't handle billing and would "talk to the doctor " and that "the person that does billing hasn't been in the office at all". Really? How is that possible? After a few calls someone did eventually email us but that person did not seem knowledgeable with billing practices. After weeks of back-and-forth emails (where we were nothing but professional and polite), they agreed to refund only $160 (they confirmed they were mailing it out July 7th) -- not the full $250. Weeks passed with no check, and when it finally arrived at the end of July, it was for only $90. After that? Total silence. They completely ghosted us. Blue Shield has contacted me to encourage me to file a grievance against this practice as they feel cheated as well since they already paid them long ago and are shocked by the mishandling of their billing with our case. We have full documentation -- emails, call logs, and letters from Blue Shield confirming our position -- and are happy to share them with anyone considering this practice. This isn't about the money; it's about the principle. No patient should be treated like this, especially when already dealing with the stress of a suspicious medical finding. Absolutely unacceptable and unethical behavior from a healthcare provider. Avoid this place at all costs.

She had the best bedside manner and explained everything to us to the point where we hardly had any questions. Whatever questions we did have were answered thoroughly. After the appointment, our nerves were calmed as we knew what to expect and were no longer in the dark about what the next steps were. I worked in the medical field for 12 years. I have never encountered a doctor like Dr. Morris. She is what every doctor should strive to be. Absolutely the best experience! I can't forget her office manager, Barbara! She is absolutely amazing--very professional and caring. Made the whole process simple and streamlined.

I do think it would have been nice to have been sent a notice informing about the change. After parking I entered and was informed the computers were down and needed to reschedule, ok things happen so I went home and rescheduled. Had my Mammogram on Monday and everything went smoothly front desk was very polite even though several patients came in finding out they were at the wrong facility ( I was told by my Dr about the change ) . My wait time was not bad and my Mammogram technician was very personable shout out to Ashley who was very professional and was extremely good at making me feel comfortable. I did find out today I need to return for further testing which No one wants to hear but better to know for sure. Also, it still has the calming waiting room and the Price is Right was showing on the TV.

I am going to hold my breath and see how the billing process pans out. My technician this morning was great, as I mentioned I had a bad experience in the past where a male technician was rushed and there wasn't even a dressing room available. Now I always ask for a female and don't wear anything with metal. I sent a message to Yelp this morning because there is an old comment showing from their previous business manager that is not in response to my current review.

After my first ever mammogram at Breastlink Pasadena, I was called in for a follow-up mammogram and…read moreultrasound to check out a couple of suspicious areas. Like another reviewer mentioned, the Mean Girl receptionists gave me flack for being "late" - I was actually a few minutes early after fighting through rush hour traffic on a workday and there was no one else in the office so I'm not sure why the lecture was needed! It set a bad tone for what was already a stressful experience. Once the ultrasound was completed (the mammogram tech unfortunately was quite rough and the process was painful) I was ushered back to a waiting room with other women scheduled for the same procedures. One by one, every other woman in the waiting area was called in to speak directly with the radiologist about their results and next steps. I was the only one who wasn't. When the nurse called my name, she told me the doctor was "busy with a procedure" and would call me by 5pm that day to discuss the results. No one ever called. I also never received the results letter they said would be mailed. Foolishly, I assumed this meant my scan was clear and no further action was needed. Three weeks later, I got a random call from a RadNet customer service rep, asking when I'd like to schedule my biopsy! Umm, excuse me?! That was the first time I even knew a biopsy had been recommended. I had never spoken to a doctor, never seen a report, and had no explanation of what they found or what the procedure would involve. I called Breastlink (it went to voicemail) and demanded to hear from a qualified doctor or nurse re: my test results. I received a call from a receptionist, who said that giving results over the phone "wasn't their policy", as if their employee hadn't specifically told me she would call me. I told her either the employee had lied to me in that case, or they didn't know their own policy, because I didn't receive the service that every other woman there had received. She made no apology and told me I'd just have to make another appointment with my gyno (who is NOT a breast specialist or radiologist) to explain the results. This makes zero sense! Despite my misgivings, I made a telehealth appointment with my gyno as recommended, only to find out they hadn't sent her the results (despite telling me over the phone that they had). Because of this, she was unable to refer me, and my $150 appointment with her was a complete waste of time and money. Without any other options, I contacted my GP (who had no available appointments for 4+ weeks) and pleaded with her to refer me to a breast specialist for the recommended biopsy. I also had to manually send her the lab results because Breastlink still hadn't sent them (a full month after the diagnostic ultrasound and mammograms had been completed). So, due to Breastlink's incompetence, what should have been a somewhat simple process ended up taking 2+ months, hundreds of wasted dollars, and an obscene amount of unnecessary mental and physical stress. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. If you are looking for competent, compassionate care, steer far far away from this place!

They filed insurance paperwork incorrectly (with incorrect information), claimed they resubmitted to insurance multiple times (insurance has no record of this), had our address wrong, and submitted bill to a collection agency. It's impossible to imagine going somewhere worse. Please. Do not go here.

If ZERO starts was an option, that's what this review would be…read more BEWARE: This company does not offer flexible payment options at all. We're fully willing to pay our balance due after insurance paid their portion, but the balance due is not something that we can pay all at once due to a separate medical emergency for our daughter that has resulted in thousands of dollars due amongst multiple providers - all of which have allowed and provided us with flexible & sensible payment plans. This company requires you to pay half 1/2 of the total due and then will only offer 3 monthly installments for the remaining balance. That is NOT a payment plan IMO. They do not budge on this "policy" and is not willing to do anything else for the patient/client. I would much rather and have since gone to the hospital or other providers in my insurance network who do offer flexible payment plans, if necessary. This company is also NOT accredited with the Better Business Bureau - which should tell you something - and has an "F" rating. Wish I had looked at that before going there - but in good faith, I trusted where my referral was sent. Never again...
