I had an awesome experience with Sono Bello (Westchester Office). The staff was extremely friendly and professional. I had my initial consultation with Stella who was awesome to talk to. I know its hard for men to come to a body contouring specialist and have them examine their "problem areas", but I tell you it's just as common for men to have these types of procedures as it is for women. I have had two procedures done at this location. I'll try to give you a step by step of the process. I struggled with stubborn fat for most of my life. I have gone through all the typical weight loss regimen's, some more successful than others but I hated the muffin top and my chest and even my face. I went into for an initial consult where Stella examined the areas I wanted to get rid of and she then proceeded to tell me what my options were. There was never any pressure to have any procedure that I didn't want. I have never had any type of surgery before aside from a root canal so I was super excited but at the same time very reluctant once the day came to have surgery. Even though you're given a cocktail of medicine to relax you during the procedure (yes you are awake) The staff and the surgeons were so comforting. For my first procedure I had my chest, upper/lower abdomen and flanks done. The procedure took about 3 hours and I think going to the dentist is more painful to be honest. The most I felt was a pinch from the first needles to create the small incisions. I had 7 incisions total, two just under my belly on either side of my navel and one on each side just below my hips, one at the top of my navel and one under each breast. After I was numb, Dr. Wallach then proceeded to fill the areas with tumescent fluid which also provides anesthesia, decreased swelling, bleeding, bruising, and improves post-op recovery. I had to wear a compression garment for 3 months, technically you should wear for the entire length of the recovery but I did consistently for 3 months and then only when i went to bed. I am currently 4 months post op from that procedure. The second procedure was my chin & jowls, just a few weeks ago. That procedure I didn't feel a thing, and the incision was done just under the base of my chin which I can't even see it. The scars btw on my first procedure are fading, so yes they do go away. Anyway, If you have any doubts about having the procedure done... don't be scared to ask as many questions as you can. The staff and doctors are there to help you put your mind at ease. The front desk (Sheba, and Kristina) are so accommodating. Everyone at the Westchester office basically became my friends. That was the awesome part. I felt that comfortable with them. The nurses were exceptional as well. They took care of me before and after the procedure. I would recommend the Sono Bello experience at the Westchester Office to anyone. The only other piece of advice I can give you is to go into this with realistic expectations. This isn't a substitute for weight loss, it's to help with those problem areas. You're not gonna go in overweight and leave Heidi Klum or The Rock, although I wish that were the case. The best way to explain this experience is that it helps to jump loss your weight loss journey. When you can be realistic about your expectations then you'll be able to see the improvements to your appearance. If you feel a revision is necessary they will work with you on that as well. I had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! I was a little apprehensive about doing this at 47, and although healthy, my metabolism has definitely slowed down and I was putting on 5lbs of weight annually I wasn't sure if it was right for me. Stella, the consultant immediately put me at ease. Stella, was friendly, non-judgmental, & shared her own Sono Bello experience. She explained how the procedure worked what it could and couldn't do; very honest in her opinion (I asked) about what she'd recommend or what could wait. She was knowledgeable about the process and reassured me of the expertise of the staff. The nurses were kind, gentle, and very supportive. I was nervous about the procedure and Gina assured me she would be with me every step of the way. She held my hand during the toughest part of the procedure; getting numb. I didn't even know I wanted that but it definitely helped me to relax. The procedure was done by a board certified plastic surgeon with many years of practice in the field, Dr. Michael H. Rosenberg, also one of the nicest, gentlest doctors I've met. I was surprised he was performing the procedure, I had gone to him for a previous procedure years ago, so I was very happy to see him, a trustworthy and highly qualified physician. The Sonobello procedure itself was minimally invasive, I was comfortable, & talkative through the whole thing both Dr. Rosenberg & RN Gina were good natured about it. I tend to talk more when I'm a little nervous. The facilities, are very clean, well lit, and surgical suite was sterile. I was in and out the same day. The worst pain was probably getting numb and later in the evening after my surgical anesthetics wore off. I slept most of the day my procedure was done in the morning. This was controlled by the prescribed Percocet given for pain. It's still surgery so I expected some pain but honestly by day 2 I was fine with just taking Tylenol as needed for pain control. I still felt stiff & sore but once I started moving I felt good. They recommend you walk 10 minutes every hour the next day. I did this all week. It really helps with the swelling which probably contributes to the discomfort. Also drink lots of water to help flush out the excess fluid. The results...remarkable, after one week. I can see waistline definition and a much smoother back (I had upper & lower abs, waistline, upper back bra area, lower back, and jaw line done). I had several back rolls & my back is almost completely flat. My chin area is also noticeably smaller. ITS BEEN ONLY ONE WEEK! They say the final results are most apparent 3 to 6 moths from now; I can't wait! I'm still swollen, a little sore in the areas treated, but nothing major. It feels like I did a hard workout the day before except with better results. I had my follow-up with Nurse Gina, who is like having your own personal cheerleader, who advised me on what to expect next , how to manage the swelling, returning to exercising, and nutrition counseling. Needless to say I am so happy I did it. If your still considering it don't wait at least get a consult done for yourself. I waited a few months before I got the courage to call. I am responding to Robin S. who reviewed her experience at Sono Bello Westchester. I am a Board certified Plastic Surgeon who has been performing liposuction under general anesthesia for 30 years. I am also a US Navy retiree after serving for 23 years for our country and taking care of hundreds of our injured service men and women who were returning from Iraq and Afghanistan from 2001 - 2010 and required reconstructive surgery at the National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. About (1) year ago I joined Sono Bello as a part-time physician and have done over 120 procedures in (3) different Sono Bello Centers. Although the consultants signing up prospective patients may downplay the discomfort involved with the procedure no patients undergo surgery without consulting with a surgeon who performs an extensive history and physical examination. The details of the procedure and the pre- and post-op care are explained in exhaustive detail and no one has surgery who has not been appropriately informed of the risks as well as the surgery and care involved at length by both the surgeon and the nursing staff. While Robin S. may have had some discomfort and is not overly excited about her results, my experience as a treating Sono Bello physician/surgeon is exactly the opposite. My patients are extremely pleased with their results and although there is some discomfort involved, there is complete transparency about the discomfort and every patient's level of pain/comfort during and after the procedure is different. Of course the public must be fully aware that like any other profession, there are differences among physicians as well so that there are different cocktails for the medications prescribed and the experience level of the surgeon may be a bit different. Finally, as an experienced physician/surgeon with 30 years of practice, a US military physician Veteran, a Duke Medical School graduate and Harvard trained surgeon, I can honestly inform the public that Sono Bello top to bottom is an exceedingly well organized company who puts patient care and satisfaction first. I am extremely happy with the results I am seeing since my procedure on April 10th. My clothes fit so much better, and I'm loving how I look in my clothes. I came in for a free appointment and had a great conversation with Tova. Not only was she very friendly she was honest. I was very nervous when she called me out of waiting room but she quickly made me feel comfortable with her warmth and honesty. She said it was important to gain education on bodysculpt from this appointment and that everyone has different outcomes. It is important for me to understand my tolerance to pain and what I expected to get out of my areas of bodysculpt so I could have a nice experience while healing. Today I am into my 13th day after my surgery, and I must say I feel great and very excited looking forward to the results. I am a guy who fears needles and doctors so much, it's embarrassing, but my belly was in the way for far too long. Then I decided to go for a consultation at Sonobello. Going to Sono Bello was the best move I ever made when it comes to getting body work done. The staff and the doctor was very nice and they made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Rosenberg performed my laser lipo on upper, lower abs and waist. Also my outer, lower back and banana roll. Both procedures on two different occasions. The 1st procedure was at ease. No pain during with 2 days downtime. I was driving in two days and NO BRUISING. The 2nd procedure was a little painful, the scale 2 (for less pain) with 5 days downtime with little bruising. However, I'm loving my results thus far and it's only 1 month for the 1st procedure and 2 weeks for the 2nd. People are already seeing the results and I can't wait to see the final results. I am post op day 6. I had a tummy tuck, upper and lower abdominals, and waist procedure performed. I have already noticed a difference being only day 6 since my operation. I decided to get lipo like most people because I was tired of looking unattractive in my clothes and lacking confidence. I picked sono bello for my surgery because my mother had her lipo done there and she looks great. The doctors and staff were all extremely pleasant although I did experience one staff that wasn't so nice. Overall I absolutely LOVEEEEEEE my results and I'm superrrr confident in everything I wear. I can't express enough how happy I am with my results. That said I will warn anyone interested in the surgery to be ready for PAIN. This was something I did not read a lot online and I wish I knew ahead of time. If you are afraid of pain like me then it might not be for you but I am afraid of pain and was able to survive it so maybe you can too :-) read more

I've had an amazing experience with the nurses and dr as well as the rest of the staff. Everyone is helpful and are there for anything. During the procedure I was awake and barely felt anything. Some pressure in some places more than others but nothing painful. Post op I was nervous and freaked out but they answered my call quickly and never made me feel like a bother. The dr called me the same night to check up on me. The nurse called the next Day to schedule my follow up. It's been great! My tummy had some bruising as I did upper and lower abdomen. It got a bit hard but it's normal and it's going away fast. They have been with me every step of the way and I look forward to my next follow up in three months as I have already seen great changes! read more
