KEEP AWAY! This is the second review I am leaving and will continue to leave reviews on every site I can find! This business is unethical and in my opinion nothing more than a scam. The people are all very nice and the office is welcoming and upscale. And, that's it for anything positive I can say It's almost like a bait and switch operation. I went in for derma fillers I was charged upwards of $3000 for a filler in slight marionette lines and a little cheek uplift. Basically they injected my face and caused swelling and bruising around the marionette lines so I wasn't able to tell immediately that basically nothing was done! After a day or two it was obvious that there was no change They were quick to schedule a follow up appointment before I left That was something I had never experienced before with any place If there was a problem I would be told to call or they would give a follow up call The reason for scheduling another appointment was so you could then give them more money to get what you originally wanted! They took before and after pics and they actually couldn't even present them to me to say, "look, there is a change.". They didn't compare the pics because there was No Change! When I complained they wanted to give me "a little Botox" to satisfy me! I paid for fillers and didn't want Botox in my lower face! So I have no recourse unless I take them to small claims court which I am contemplating Iwish I had done a better job of researching this place Buyer Beware!!! read more

SEVERELY DISFIGURED MY FACE WITH RADIOFREQUENCY DEVICE. It took me 4 months to write this review. I am physically and mentally traumatized by my experience with NicholsMD. Their staff sold me an "eye rejuvenation" package to treat my dark circles which cost thousands of dollars. I WAS NOT WARNED OF ANY RISKS. I was promised skin tightening and improvement in dark circles but instead, the physician's assistants destroyed the fat on my face with a "Secret" Cutera RF device. Now I look 20 years older than I did when I walked in and am left skeletal - sunken temples, hollow sink holes for eyes, DEEP wrinkly under eyes I never had, fallen sagging cheeks and deep marionette lines. My whole face structure has fallen. After this happened, the NicholsMD staff coldly turned me away, would not let me see or talk to Kim Nichols and even withheld my medical records from me when I requested them so that they could be "reviewed" by her. My records were then altered to say that I lost weight and that's why my face lost so much volume, which is false. Kim Nichols and her staff refused to provide me with solutions or give me a refund and would not speak with me further. I have consulted a prominent plastic surgeon who confirmed that the radiofrequency device was used improperly and also should never be used on the upper face since these devices cause FAT LOSS. I will need extensive surgery and much more money than I have to fix the damage NicholsMD staff did to me. Don't be fooled by the shiny NicholsMD office, fake smiles and publicity stunts orchestrated by Kim Nichols for her image on social media. Kim Nichols and her staff are horrible people that will turn on you on a dime. Do extensive research on any procedure online to find out what others have experienced before purchasing. I wish I had. Unfortunately, you can't trust anyone profiting in this industry, even those with Harvard degrees like Kim Nichols. Better yet - leave your face alone. I had an amazing experience while getting the fraxel treatment at NicholsMD. This was my first laser and I was quite nervous but Hannah and Zerin put me at ease and made it comfortable. Hannah has a gentle touch and explained the whole process step-by-step while checking in on me at every point. The team is very knowledgeable, Zerin recommended products that I can utilize in my regimen to get the most out of my fraxel treatment and to prolong its results. I have never been treated by a professional the way I was treated by Dr. Kim Nichols. I received two treatments at this location under the advisement of Dr. Nichols. For both treatments, I didn't get the results that I was looking for, however, I wasn't upset about the results, nor was I pointing fingers or pointing blame to the practice. All I was doing was reaching back out to Dr. Nichols for her advice and consultation on how to handle next steps. However, after I came in for the second treatment consultation, she was extremely rude to me. She told me the reason I do not have the results I want is because of my "budgetary constraints" which is untrue and classist. And then she proceeded to tell me that since I am unhappy with the results I am getting from her that I should find another doctor. I was extremely thrown off by this response and upset because I buy my skin care products from them, I buy vitamins from them and I absolutely love their staff, their aesthetician and love to go in for facials. I never pointed fingers or blame or asked for free additional treatments, I was just seeking professional advice. And instead of professional consultation and advice, Dr. Kim Nichols instead was judgmental, rude, dismissive and classist. When I was leaving the practice after this upsetting interaction, she made sure to come out of her office to let me know which way the exit was. I have never been treated this way by anyone. Traumatic experience, an absolute nightmare! Dr. Nichols recommended and applied Kybella under my chin, promising wonderful results. She injured a nerve with the procedure and after 4 weeks my lips are still crooked. I look terrible (my smile was so pretty before) and I do not know if the results are reversible. I'm living a nightmare. To make things worse, she was extremely cold and aggressive with me when I went there for follow up. What a horrible attitude towards a patient. read more

Wonderful experience here at NicholsMD of Greenwich. The office was beautiful and clean, staff was efficient and welcoming, and treatments were the best I've ever had. I have to agree with the other reviewers that Dr. Nichols will never return a phone call. She passes the buck to her receptionist or her so-called office managers. I have tried to reach her four different times. I'm leaving messages for her specifically to call me back and she just wont do it. She will never face the music that her staff did a poor job. This is the most unprofessional establishment ever. They do not give you the technician that you make an appointment for. My face has been cut by a newbie as a result. My ultherapy for thousands of dollars was a joke. I called and asked if I could have a follow up because I was unhappy with the results and their answer was no. My experience at NicholsMD of Greenwich was simply amazing. I recently had Botox and cheek fillers with Justine, one of the PA's. Justine was kind, professional and knowledgable. Justine made sure I was comfortable with the procedure before starting. Because of all my sun damage, she suggested a Chemical Peel. I had my first chemical peel with Aly a RN. Aly was caring and very professional when explaining the treatment and what to expect. My skin has never looked so good. My only regret was that I should have done this sooner. Kim...I won't give her the respect of calling her Dr. is nothing she claims to be! She does NOT empower women or put clients first (youtube). At first meeting, she seems great until there is a PROBLEM!! Then she denies, deflects and humiliates! I went to Nichols to have a milia removed from my face. We also discussed Botox and I told her I had a bad reaction about 20 years ago- I had teepee eyebrows and drooped eyelids. She assured me it was 20 years ago, a lot has changed and it was probably the skill of the injector. I trusted her and who doesn't want to feel more youthful. Unfortunately, my eyelids drooped. I didn't blame her, it was my risk! However, when I called 10 days after my first injection to let them know I had a reaction and I would not be doing the second injection (this is when they do a 14 day follow up and tweak areas from the first injection). NO ONE EVER RETURNED THE CALL! I was not too upset, as I knew I had an appointment in a few days and it wasn't a medical emergency. Arriving at my appointment I was sure to let them know at check-in that I would not be receiving my second half of injections today and I was there to discuss the drooping eyelids. Justine, the PA agreed that my eyelids were drooping and took photos. Unfortunately, the photos did not do a great job show the extent of the drooping, but when you have to lift you eyelids to put on eye makeup...trust me it's drooping. The PA took the photos to Nichols and Nichols REFUSED TO SEE ME!!! Like today? She's busy with clients? Can I see her another day? Yep, if you make an appointment! WTF? When I asked if I could receive a SERVICE CREDIT, I wasn't even asking for money back for the 2nd half of the injections, just a service credit for product or a facial or maybe some other service. The answer was NO! Wow! Again, I didn't blame Nichols for her skill or lack of...maybe it's me. But to not have enough respect to come into a room and talk to a patient who spent $1600 with you. I was humiliated. I left feeling so disrespected and down about myself. Do not go to this MD, I did Kybella treatment and I was paralyzed for 6 weeks. Luckily I didn't get long term nerve damage but you might not be so lucky. She really pushed for the second treatment and that's when I guess she hit a nerve. The worst is when I went to see her after the treatment she was horrible, she told me it'll last few days, it lasted over a month....she dismissed me and behaved like she was mad at me!! FANCY offices, everyone dressed in the Team Scrubs. Courteous staff... As part of the pricing explanation, I was offered a "free" body-scan of my freckles and moles. I've had this done at a careful dermatology practice, and this one seemed to me to be cursory AT BEST. Done at lightening speed, very little attention paid it seemed, no measurements or photos taken, no "better keep an eye on that one." The procedure I was there for was successful, but i believe much pricier than what I would have paid at my less snazzy looking dermatology practice. The staff is friendly and I love all the Skinceuticals products. The reason for 3 stars rather than 4 or 5 is the ear piercing is done with a gun rather than with free-handed needles. There is plenty of research that guns have several issues (sterilization, too much force on the ear, and more). I have been to Nichols MD of Greenwich for lip fillers, Botox, facials, and chemical peels. The office staff was very professional as well as knowledgeable of their services. When I walked in my first time, I was stunned by their gorgeous office! I have seen Jessica the esthetician who did an incredible chemical peel on me. She walked me through each step and made the experience very comfortable. I saw Katie French and Dr Nichols for my lip fillers. They made it pain free, and my lips looked very natural! I am a female in my mid 20's and was looking for a natural plump. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a clean, professional, and luxurious cosmetic dermotologist place. Dr Lisa Nichols at NicholsMD is an irresponsible practitioner, and frankly just doesn't seem to care all that much. She is grossly ill-equipped at injecting fillers. I made the horrible mistake of trusting her and have paid the price. By the time Dr Nichols was done with me, I looked terrible. Through this experience, I've amassed a strong working knowledge of fillers through my own research reading academic journals (which I should have done before seeing Dr Nichols and trusting that she would answer all my questions responsibly) and through visits with several consults with top well-known cosmetic dermatologists in New York City. Thankfully I found the wizard of fillers who is the opposite of Dr Nichols; fully informed/skilled, caring, thoughtful and has your best interests in mind. She's been able to put my face back together. One of my eyes still bears some issues, but overall I'm thankful that I feel close to 'normal' again. Keep in mind, the fix for Dr Nichol's irresponsibility comes with a hefty price tag, $3k which will be recurring because of course fillers don't last forever. Bottom line, if you don't want to gamble with your face, don't go to her. I strongly I feel that Dr Nichols just doesn't give a flying F unless she thinks that you have celebrity/community status or she thinks she can make a dollar off of you. Major highlights below. Enjoy. Note: another 1 Star yelp reviewer mentions Dr. Nichols bad bedside manner when it came to doing her ffix. I experienced the exact same as well. 1) She doesn't numb you, and let me tell you it is unbelievably painful to get injections without numbing first. When I asked if there was anything that's done for the pain, she flat out said no. This is wrong wrong wrong. Every office numbs you, unless you opt out. It's standard practice. 2) She has no idea what she's doing when it comes to tear trough fillers. Specifically, the amount of filler she used on me for my tear trough was 2-2.5x the recommended amount on her first try (Only .2-.3 cc is recommended - see link to academic journal below). One of my eyes did not take it well, so I went back to her to try to correct. On her 2nd try she added more filler so I was almost at 1cc for one tear trough. To put it into perspective, 1cc was used for the *entire* side of my face (temple to cheeks) to fix what she'd done. Disaster. 3) She is not at all careful in her use of hyaluranidase, which is what is used to break down temporary fillers faster. Turns out that hyaluranidase can also break down your natural hyaluranic acid that may or may not come back. The older you are the less likely it's going to come back. In my case I looked absolutely awful, worse, after she administered this stuff under my eyes, and she did it TWICE. Why would I let her do this twice you ask? Because when I asked Dr Nichols if there are any down sides to using this stuff, she flat out said no. Furthermore, Dr Nichols didn't take any procedural precautions when she was injecting it into my face. This practice is the epitome of safety during COVID times. I have a history of skin cancer and have seen many dermatologists. Last year I went in for a biopsy, which was done beautifully by a PA, and today did a full body check with Dr. Nichols. Our family observes strict quarantine now and is up to date on all of the research on best practice safety protocols - this physician does it all in her practice. Communication was excellent between the staff, the doctor, and myself and I was not pressured to remove my mask or do anything I wasn't comfortable with in order to get a better view of my skin. My two experiences have been very positive at NicholsMD -- first time was with their Medical Aesthetician, Jessie, for a facial treatment -- absolute heaven! She was knowledgeable, thorough, personable and very sweet! She seems to truly love what she does. The second time with Dr. Nichols was for facial fillers. I found her to be warm and friendly.
