As someone who has become pretty well-versed in plastic surgery (for better or worse!), I truly believe Dr. Westreich is the real deal. I originally found him through extensive online research and because he met a very specific set of criteria I had. I was looking for a facial plastic surgeon (not someone who also does body work), double board certified, with an elite educational background (I know that sounds a bit snobby, but it gave me peace of mind), an office in one of the more expensive Manhattan neighborhoods (sounds snobby again, I know!), a strong reputation for rhinoplasty (since it's one of the most technically challenging procedures), a professional and well-kept office, not cheap but not super expensive, and great bedside manner. Very few doctors checked all those boxes. I called each one, and ultimately chose Dr. Westreich--and I'm so glad I did. I'm extremely happy with all my procedures. A few things worth noting: Dr. Westreich's work is subtle and natural. If you're looking for something more dramatic or "snatched," you should be very clear about that during your consultation. He's also very comfortable saying "no" if he doesn't think a treatment is right for you. While that's what any ethical doctor should do, I felt Dr. Westreich was especially thoughtful about it. I even asked about a facelift, and he told me I wasn't there yet--something I think many other doctors would have been willing to do. He offers a same-day booking discount that requires a deposit, but you still have time to change your mind and receive a full refund. Some of the negative reviews seem to stem from misunderstandings about this policy. Personally, I appreciated the discount, never felt pressured, and always found the staff to be kind and professional. That said, if this type of booking structure doesn't sit well with you, this office may not be the right fit. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience and highly recommend Dr. Westreich if you're looking for natural-looking results from a skilled and ethical facial plastic surgeon.

Dr. Westreich injected a dissolving agent into my bottom lip and asked me to schedule a follow-up appointment. At my follow-up, it was clear that one side had dissolved more than the other, but both bumps were still there. He injected the dissolving agent again. To my shock, the front desk charged me for this visit--without any prior mention that I'd be billed again! This was a follow-up appointment, and I had assumed it was part of the original treatment. Ultimately, I had to go to another practice to fully dissolve my filler. Even worse, the new provider was shocked that Dr. Westreich hadn't addressed the puffiness and migration in my top lip. I had been so focused on the lumps in my bottom lip that I didn't think to bring it up, but I would have expected a trained professional to notice and mention it. At the new practice, I had both my top and bottom lip dissolved properly. I'm beyond disappointed--not only with Dr. Westreich's lack of attention to detail but also with being charged twice for an ineffective treatment.

Dr. Tanna worked in close coordination with Dr. Susan Palleschi and Dr. Jill Whyte to make this possible, and the level of planning, precision, and choreography required to bring multiple surgical specialties together so seamlessly was truly extraordinary. From the beginning, I was struck not only by Dr. Tanna's expertise, but by his willingness to put my needs at the center of the surgical plan. Coordinating all of these procedures into one operation undoubtedly added complexity for him and the entire surgical team. Yet doing so spared me additional surgeries, hospitalizations, and recoveries. That willingness to take on additional complexity because it was ultimately better for me speaks volumes about Dr. Tanna--not only about his skill as a surgeon, but about his compassion and commitment to his patients. The stress of life and this new medical challenge had gotten to me, and I dropped weight rapidly. So, could I find a great reconstruction surgeon that could help me in this situation? After several consultations, I chose him as my surgeon and underwent a tummy tuck along with breast augmentation. To my surprise, he also performed liposuction on my outer thighs and other areas. Three months post-surgery, I found my stomach still bulging, my breasts sagging, and I noticed an unusual line beneath my buttocks. During a routine check-up, he apologized, claiming my body had misled him, and offered to redo both the tummy tuck and breast augmentation. Six months later, I underwent another four-hour surgery. The results were devastating; my body was altered to the point where I could no longer wear fitted clothing or walk on the beach in a swimsuit. I consulted several doctors, and each informed me that my situation was irreversible. For years, I tried to secure an appointment with him, but he would not allow me back into his office. Eventually, I managed to book an appointment under my maiden name. When he entered the office and introduced himself, he appeared friendly. However, when I revealed my identity and showed him photos documenting the damage he caused, he refused to look at them. His attitude quickly became arrogant and dismissive, repeatedly questioning why I was there and if I had come to berate him. I insisted that I needed a referral to a doctor who could address his mistakes. He suggested I consult a lawyer, fully aware that I had signed documents preventing me from suing him. If I could take legal action, I would, as he has significantly impacted my life--I can no longer enjoy the beach or wear fitted clothing.
