It's been 6 months since my surgery with Dr Greenwald and I couldn't be more happy! I had breast augmentation surgery by Dr. Greenwald about 2 years ago. I would highly recommend him. I had tubular breasts before the surgery, so the incision was done under the nipple instead of under the breast. I had 400 cc silicone implants put in under the muscle. I was a 34A before the surgery and now I'm a 34DDD. I have been SO happy with my results. The surgery went smoothly and I was able to go back to work 4 days later. Dr Greenwald is a nice dr. HOWEVER his patient care coordinator, Barbara Messina, is a NIGHTMARE!!!! I had a consultation with the doctor, and than met with Barbara who was unable to give me complete pricing. She insisted that she was ONLY giving me cosmetic pricing, and could not give me the surgical fees. This was insane. How could I possibly commit to a procedure when I did not have the complete price?? In addition Barbara was incredibly rude and condescending. Correct me if I am wrong, but when u are going for a cosmetic consultation would the staff be over the top nice in order t0 win the business?? And when I called the following day and asked Barbara to have the Dr call me directly, she was so rude on the phone and explained she could not guarantee the Dr would call me and than proceeded to hang up on me. It very unfortunate that this woman has a job and scares away potential clients and business! And unfortunately for Dry Greenwald, I ran into friend just last week who had breast augmentation surgery, and when she was home the day of the surgery she had intense pain in her arm and than was rushed back into surgery the same day. The reason is was that Dr Greenwald did not properly cauterize an artery and she and she was bleeding internally. Also now she has major hardness in one breast. My experience with Dr. Greenwald and his staff has been nothing but amazing from the very beginning. Before Surgery I have been wanting to get a breast augmentation for almost 6 years. I remember making my first consultation about 5 years ago with Dr. Greenwald and canceling because I was scared. Fast forward 4 years later, I decided to make another appointment. Upon my virtual consultation, I was informed I was a perfect candidate and decided to take a trip to the office located in Harrison. As a teacher, the closest vacation was spring break and I was informed Dr. Greenwald was not doing surgeries that week. After speaking to him, he left the office and came back within a few minutes and informed me he was going to open 2 days of spring break to do surgeries! He explained the procedure and all the pre surgery requirements. He made me feel calm - which I totally needed. He was patient and answered all of my questions and made his honest recommendations. After meeting with him, I met with the finance department and completed all my paperwork. Everything was a breeze! Day of Surgery Surgery is performed in the same building as the office. I was taken at my appointment time. Morning of surgery, Dr. Greenwald drew the markings on me and once again explained the procedure. Everyone that took care of me was amazing, polite and assured me that everything will be okay! Once I woke up, I felt great besides feeling heavy in the chest area. I was exhausted and pretty much slept all day. I didn't experience any pain, only discomfort getting up from bed. After Surgery Post surgery, I felt great. I didn't take all of my pain medication (stopped day 3) and was able to return to work. I have met with Dr. Greenwald about 4x since surgery. My scars healed beautifully with his recommendation of a scar cream (I barely have a scar!! My incision was under the boob.) Fast Forward to 10 Months Post Surgery My new boobs look and feel amazing! They look completely natural and people are in shock when I tell them I had a breast augmentation! Dr. Greenwald does amazing work. Dr. Greenwald is in fact the Boob God! I was googling him for weeks trying to find anything negative, but nope! I couldn't find anything wrong. He was straight to the point, informative, and super helpful. I didn't even mention his staff! They were all helpful as well and super nice!
