Dr. Jill Berkowitz-Berliner and her husband, Dr. Richard Berliner, at Mt. Kisco Foot Specialists…read moreare amazing doctors and surgeons. They also specialize in wound care. I have yet to meet a doctor as thorough, detailed and exhaustive in her research, as Dr. Jill Berkowitz-Berliner. I needed to have a complicated, corrective foot surgery (hallux rigidus being the main issue), and interviewed several podiatric doctors/surgeons in Westchester NY, and Jill was by far the best. She also has a caring bedside manner, along with a positive and delightful personality. My surgery was a great success, taking place at Northern Westchester Hospital (great care there as well). I cannot recommend this team enough!

After 4 years of our advocacy for tonsillectomy, the Optum ENT team ordered a sleep study - which exposed the severity of our son's sleep apnea and urgent need for tonsil and adenoid removal. (AHI of 42) We scheduled surgery 6 weeks in advance, and made all necessary plans - we changed work schedules, childcare schedules, travel plans, took vacation days to care for him etc. Though they had six weeks notice, the surgical team did not bother to review our son's chart. Though he desperately needs this procedure, Dr. Scott called to cancel 12 hours before we were scheduled to arrive at the hospital because the surgical team would not operate due to the risk profile and post operative needs. This is concerning: - a PICU is recommended for cases this severe but wasn't mentioned to us in this process - the surgical team did not review the case in advance of the procedure until the day before. When the procedure was cancelled at teh 11th hour, we were not given a referral or resources to help resolve the issue. When we asked for a CPAP Rx to help so he didn't continue to struggle while we tried to figure out what hospital and doctor would be qualified to help, we were told his pediatrician would handle. When we called his pediatrician (who is attentive, invested and responsive) he said that he does not manage CPAP Rx. We were left with a child that could not breathe at night, and an ENT who would not help us alleviate that issue. Ultimately, our 10 year old has gone years chronically under-slept and struggling due to the professional opinions of Optum ENTS. When the severity of his case was realized, we were left high and dry just hours before his procedure with no recommendations or resources to improve his situation. Competency and personal commitment are tenants of the hippocratic oath, that we were not given.

I am sharing it here for others to see on their behalf since most viewers will miss it and it's REALLY a serious review... You can click on the photo below to read the review. Shame on this office... it's bad enough when you rip people off... and don't do what they pay for... but THIS poor patient has a significant medical issue now because of his shoddy work. AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COSTS!

If the rating system allowed for a reviewer to enter 0 stars, I would have chose 0. Had rhinoplasty…read moresurgery with Dr.John Farella (Plastic Surgeon) years ago and started getting debilitating sinus headaches for years afterward. Never had any such issues prior to the surgery. In addition to that I had several structural issues that were extremely noticable including a retracted nostril, a dent on one side of my nose, and another dent above that, all which were on one side of my nose. My tip had two bulbs on it, one on the left, one on the right. Horrific result. This time I went to NYC to a top surgeon to have it fixed. He ordered a CT scan and the results of it were scary. It showed my sinus cavity on the right side was completely black. Black, as in no structures could be seen within that side. The surgeon told me, he would do his best to correct the structural issues, but that given the complex nature of my sinus issues & CT scan result, I would need to have a second surgeon work on my sinus issues. For my revision surgery I had to have two doctors work to fix what they could. I learned after this surgery that Farella had butchered my internal structures. I had every issue you could imagine. Deviated septum, turbinate issues, and a few others that were all the cause of my terrible sinus headaches for years. Farella's website says he corrects anyone with these issues, from my experience I know that to be absolutely false, and in fact he caused these issues for me. After I saw the prominent surgeon in NYC the outward appearance was improved, but not able to be fixed. As far as my sinuses are concerned I have to deal with congestion and runny nose on a regular basis, they will never be the same again. It is one thing to make a minor mistake as a doctor, but it is an issue of character to cause permanent harm to your patients medically. To intentionally suture up your patient on the operating table knowing that you are leaving them with a deviated septum (that is very easy to see) and other issues, which he knows would cause pain to that patient at some point in the future. I wouldn't only avoid rhinoplasty with this Farella. Since the issue of character is the most disturbing part, I warn others to not choose this surgeon for any procedure.

From the moment I walked in, Donna made me feel so welcomed and at ease. She has such a warm and calming presence, and it was clear right away that she genuinely cares about her clients and takes her work seriously. I came in with concerns about acne scars, light wrinkles, and uneven skin tone, and Donna took the time to really listen to me and understand what I was hoping to improve. She recommended microneedling and explained exactly how it works and what kind of results I could expect. What I really appreciated was how thorough she was. She didn't rush through anything and made sure I was fully informed and comfortable every step of the way. During the treatment, she checked in with me often and explained what she was doing as she went, which helped me feel completely relaxed and confident that I was in good hands. Her attention to detail is incredible, and you can tell she's passionate about helping people feel good in their skin. After I finished my treatment, Donna recommended a few products for me to use on my face and gave me a few samples to take home. I am already loving the products she recommended and I wouldn't have known about them otherwise. She knew exactly which ones I needed! On top of that, the entire staff at the office was just as amazing. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so sweet, welcoming, and full of positive energy. You can really feel the good vibes there! It's such a comfortable and friendly environment. It made the whole experience even better knowing I was surrounded by such kind and caring people. After just my first session, I'm already seeing noticeable results. My skin looks smoother, more even, and just healthier overall. I honestly didn't expect to see such a difference this soon, and it has me even more excited for the rest of my sessions. I have already booked my next session and am looking forward to going back to the office again! I can't recommend Donna and The Center for Dermatology & Laser Surgery enough. She's not only amazing at what she does, but she also creates such a positive and supportive experience. If you're thinking about doing microneedling or any kind of skincare treatment, definitely go see Donna. She's truly the best!

Dr. Levy of Caremount Medical is a dermatologist who also performs Coolsculpting so I asked about trimming inner thighs to avoid summer chafing. Dr. Levy said there are no guarantees but it is likely that I will see 20% to 30% reduction with one treatment. He said I should also note that since that would be on each thigh, the total would be significant. Had I been told that I would need a second $1300 treatment (little cheaper after first one), I never would have done the first one. The procedure involves a machine for the freezing, immediately followed by massage which is vital. The Dr. relegated the massage to an assistant, who is not a doctor, unsupervised. There were 3 follow-up visits so the Dr. could see the progressive results. He agreed, THERE WERE NONE. NO CHANGE! Dr. Levy said the procedure has worked for many people in his practice yet I cannot find one online user review out of the over 400 referring to Dr. Levy performing Coolsculpt. I asked the doctor to stand by his work and provide a second treatment gratis. He refused. I said I could pay $350 to cover what he had said on the second visit was the cost of the machine use. He refused. He offered $750. It is important to note that my dermatological interactions with Dr. Levy were fine.
