We agreed on a scheduled repair date and Josh stayed. in touch throughout the day to update me on progress. When I was dropped off I saw my door from about 75 feet away and knew instantly they NAILED IT! Up close you can barely tell where the work was done unless you are looking for it. Karen was really good at her Job and one of the things that I commend her for is there would be times where she would be committed with one task and then she would get assigned another next task and the next task and unfortunately I've never once seen her get recognized for the hard work that she had done at that place. Not to mention she was always up front with her customers and that embolizes a good Customer Service Rep. Besides with her knowledge and wisdom as a CSR. Karen really changed that place around from how it used to be to where it's at today and that is all thanks to her as that place had become much busier and stuff was actually getting done. Now the fact that the owner decided to get rid of her for a lazy mechanic that likes to pick and choose what jobs he wants to do and complains about everything under the sun and has a short fuse towards colleagues and customers and should've gotten fired multiple times for insubordination towards the Owner. Also given the lack of work ethnicity that he demonstrates is a prime example of the lack of management that place has. Besides I really wish that there were more people like Karen Lape in this world who are passionate about the job and aren't in it for the politics and knows how to put her ego aside rather than towards the customers. I don't know anything about cars but they did a great job explaining what they had to do. The staff was so friendly and eased my anxiety as this was my first time bringing a car in for anything on my own. An associate named "Derk" works at the facility and lemme tell you, the man lives up to the name. I wouldn't come back here again for the simple fact of him. My car was supposed to be done a week ago. Things happen, whatever. There was a-lot of me calling and either getting "we ordered more parts", "we ordered the wrong parts and have to reorder them" or "it should be done/we need more time" There were also no crystal* clear updates half the time. But Again, things happen. This was a 4 1/2 hour drive for me. About 1/2 hour left of my drive, Derpy calls me and tells me I need to pay X-amount of dollars. Claimed my insurance told him I'd be paying that, after my insurance company said the exact opposite. I hung up the call to call my insurance (they had no idea what he was talking about.) I called to talk to him again and got disconnected. No call back. Nothing. When I got there I dealt with Devin, and (unfortunately I don't remember her name, but she was incredibly sweet and helpful) They informed me the same thing my insurance company told me, and to not worry about what Derk told me. I've worked in customer service, and I can tell you, definite lack of professionalism. I'd never come back to this place. But that sweet lady in red in charge.
