I scheduled an oil change at E-Motive Performance and Auto Repair after extensive searching and praying to God for a mechanic I could take my car to regularly. I had to change my original appointment with short notice due to the weather earlier this week and today I was like an hour late to my appointment because of poor time management on my part. When I walked into the shop, I was welcomed so kindly by Esten, who introduced himself and his partner to me. He listened to all the concerns I had about my car, then waited patiently for me to get myself together and figure out how I would wait for the work to be done. Rather than send me to the back of the line, they worked on my car right away they explained so much to me about cars when it was clear I didn't know much, Esten even called my dealership to check to see if I still had a warranty on any of my parts! He went above and beyond for me even without knowing me. He told me everything I needed once they checked my car out, gave me a list of prices including the labor charges, gave me a timeframe of when I should be replacing things and I was just literally blown away by their ability to relieve all of my concerns and give me an affordable game plan moving forward. As a woman, this type of professionalism is invaluable to me! It's just a small shop in the middle of nowhere and I got the best service I have ever had in comparison. I can't say enough good about my experience at Tire Palace…read more I had a tire come apart on a very expensive car with a very rare size performance tire in the middle of cornfields travelling from down south to Canada at 4pm (near closing for everywhere). I called around and everyone laughed and said good luck. When I called Jose at Tire Palace he said, "No problem, I have a used one of those in stock". I had AAA get the car there right before closing and the guys got my tire off, balanced and replaced in about 15 minutes without marking the wheel - I actually own an automotive shop and this is not an easy wheel/tire to mount. When I asked how much, he could have told me any amount - I was at his mercy. Jose chose not to take advantage of that. Jose saved me about $1000 in hotel costs and a new Pirelli tire. He also saved me the thousands I would have lost by having my business closed the next day. He charged me $65+tax... Class act Jose!
