I was rekeying deadbolt locks around the house and I accidentally busted a tumbler spring. I called about getting a replacement spring, and Eli was very helpful in letting me come by and pick up a spare for free. He had genuine empathy for my situation and was very helpful and friendly. Also, while we were chatting, Eli also sounded very knowledgeable about his work. I'd definitely recommend him for any locksmith needs you may have. Great, professional guy. read more

Eli was so helpful and got me out of a jam quickly. Even at a last minute call like mine he charged a very reasonable fee. I went to his shop and when I arrived he told me that he never programmed my device before and he researched the procedure before I arrived (which was about 20 minutes) and he was ready to go! Worked like a charm! His is smart and quick. I only wish I could find more trades people as talented and honest as him. I would highly recommend him and his services. He is my new go-to locksmith! read more

Eli is a lifesaver! My fob key to my Ford Focus came up missing two days ago and after one place cancelled on me twice I was in desperate need of getting my keys... and ASAP, I called 3 other places and none of them could come out. I called Eli and he was at my apartment in 30 minutes, made the copy of my key and was done in about 30 minutes. He even came back to give my fob a new casing. Eli is dependable, trustworthy, and personable. What more could you want from a locksmith?! I drove over to Eli's house this morning to make a spare car key, since I lost mine almost a year ago during a crazy day at bay to breakers (fml). I called multiple places but no one could beat Eli's prices, so I decided to head over to him, and I am so glad that I did. This is actually my first time dealing with a locksmith, so I was worried about the dumbest things (what if he makes a separate copy and keeps it? What if he installs tracking on my key? Etc etc). However, as soon as I spoke with Eli, I knew I was in good hands. He first made sure that he had the board that I needed. Then he got to work programming the key. After that, he helped me make a copy of the physical key. He was so helpful and even though my key was a nonstandard size, he had the proper equipment to make a copy. At the end of the appointment, we had a minor misunderstanding, but Eli was a true professional and worked with me to clear it up. I truly appreciate his communication and integrity. I highly recommend him for any of your Locksmith needs! read more

Would suggest Sonic locksmith to anyone looking to make car keys in bay area. Not only are the rates better than most out there but also Eli is really good at his job. It's way cheaper than making the key at the dealership. It's open till late in the night so its quite convenient to visit after work. Eli is really friendly and I am really happy with the service I got. Highly recommended! read more

Eli was able to have his teammate, Spencer, come out to re-key my house within a few hours of asking. Spencer was very easy to work with and could help with all 5-6 doors quickly. Price was right too! read more

I just had my first experience with this company, and Eli was the gentlemen who came out to make me a new car key, as I had lost mine and did not have a spare. This company was extremely time efficient and also more experienced and educated on the situation than every other company I had called today. The employee was very professional and polite. This is not my first time dealing with this, but in the future I will certainly reach out to them before anyone else and I would recommend them to anyone close to me in the same situation. Very honest and trustworthy company. Several other companies that I inquired with them today quoted me a much higher price and also gave me a much longer time estimate if I was a man of his word got here earlier than he had estimated he would and completed the job even quicker than he had anticipated he would. He also answered every question I had involving things about saturation like this in the future and involving the actual procedure he was doing for me. Don't bother calling any other company this is the one for you. read more

We wanted to install keyless door lock. I called several locksmiths from CL. While searching for the best quote, I called Sonic. Eli answered the phone. He asked me to send pictures of our lock. After receiving the pictures, he called us immediately and gave us a flat price. He was willing to work with our budgets. He came out right away and removed the old lock and replaced it with new keyless door lock. He was prompt and friendly. We are happy with his job. After finishing our job, I asked him an another question that was not related to the job. He was patient and thorougly answered my question. He even showed me how. I highly recommend Eli. read more

Excellent service, prompt and high quality. Owner Eli is an honest and all around great guy. He came out on a Sunday at the agreed time, replaced my key fob at 1/2 of dealer price, and gave me advice on how I could take care of my other car's key fob myself. I hope I don't need locksmith services anymore but if I do, I know whom to call. Thank you Eli! read more

Eli at Sonic locksmith was fantastic!!! I called on a late Saturday afternoon to get a key cut and fob programmed for my 2011 acura mdx. I had called multiple locksmiths in the area and had difficulty finding someone willing and qualified (some no response, some not available, some unwilling). Eli was responsive and up to the challenge. He has everything he needs in a mobile van I learned that Acura/Honda keys are some of the most difficult to reproduce, but consequently the most secure for your vehicle. Eli spent the time to do the job right and verified things worked perfectly. He even cut a test key first and converted into a valet key. His prices are very reasonable (Dealer was $375, locksmiths ranged from $125-250). Eli was the low bid and he delivered top quality service. It took a lot longer than anticipated due to the difficulty of the project (I had purchased a key/fob on amazon, thought it was OEM, but wasn't so not easy), but Eli was persistent and thorough. He even threw in a free battery because the new fob had a dead one. Bottom line is you can expect excellent service for a fair price from someone who stands by the quality of their work. I would not hesitate to call Eli again for any of my locksmith in needs. read more
