My husband wanted to swing by for dinner and it just so happened to be a Tuesday, which is half off on their cheeseburgers. So we did an online order for pickup and scheduled it for 20 mins out. When we got there, we just pulled up to a stall and checked in on our phone and they delivered the food to our car. Service was great. I loved that they gave us all the sauces we requested at no additional charge. It was pretty busy when we got there, but we figured as much since it was dinner time. So I come here once in a while for a snack. Are usually the hot dog. Today my husband got the chili cheese dog. It was pretty good. The chili taste of smoky. I got a regular all American. ARGH. Me and family have had issues at this Sonic location over the years. A few years back, I would come and order identical deserts. Not some time later one treat would come out as vanilla and other chocolate. I followed the instructions provided on the receipt and received a call the next day from the manager were I was told I would receive a gift card in the mail. A week later, it never came. I called the manager again and was told they have not shipped the gift card and I would receive it within a week. Still a week later, I have not received anything from Sonic. I contacted corporate and never heard back. I stopped coming to SONIC at that point. Recently, I've been coming for root beer floats. Soon after their ice cream broke and has not been fixed for the past couple weeks. They offered a substitute where instead of ice cream they would use vanilla shake. I decided to tried it out and there was not even an inch of root beer on the bottom. The next time I come back I asked for 75% root beer and 25% shake. Came home, opened my beverage and noted a hair on the side wall of the cup. EW! Me and my family are absolutely done with this Sonic location. read more

Beware a possible scam that the employees are running at this location. I only went here because I have a gift card, why else would anybody go to sonic, their food is absolute garbage their drinks and desserts are decent but way overpriced. Anyways... there are employees at this location running a scam and steeling peoples card information. They took my brand new gift card, came back and said it was not authorized and made me give them a different card to pay for the food they had already handed me. She came back with my debit card and receipt (AFTER going to the bathrooms outside, and likely writing down the card info, why else wouldn't she just gift me my card and receipt and then go to the bathroom?!) She gave it back after using the restroom. I then asked for the gift card back that didn't work. She said yes but there's nothing on it. Even though she had said before it wasn't authorized. A different lady came back and gave me the gift card but it was A DIFFERENT GIFT CARD. It was all incredibly suspicious and it seems like they are keeping the gift cards using websites to trade them in for cash and then charging the customers their own card, and writing down the numbers in the bathroom. Immediately afterwords I called my bank and got a new card. The people at this store need to be fired and possibly arrested for steeling peoples card info. Maybe this was all a mistake and the gift card just didn't work for whatever reason, but why take my card into the bathroom right next to my car. She also took forever. And why give me back a different gift card. Why change up the story on why the card didn't work. This place is sus, never go here. If you have a gift card place a mobile order or trade it in for cash yourself before the ladies working here do it for you. read more

We used to love coming here but the service has gone down hill. It seems the addition of the tipping feature correlates to the service you get since you tip ahead of being served. Can't seem to get order correct the first time. For the 2nd time in 1 month, my order was incorrect. I ordered the LARGE chocolate covered strawberry shake for $6.82 why so expensive for 1, and 2, they bring me a medium vanilla shake with hardly any strawberry in it, I could tell cause I was drinking it as I pressed the order button for a 2nd time. I asked again for the correct item to be brought out. The attendant comes out again with the same thing. I asked him, "I see no chocolate." he tells me they don't make that shake anymore, and I said then why it is advertised. He says I don't know." I asked him to change the shake for the 3rd time to the new chocolate brownie shake. He acknowledged me and said, I'll be back. After another long wait I pushed the red button for the 4th time, and the manager came on the speakers and I asked for my money back. She came out and explained they do still make the original shake I ordered, but they are outta the ingredients to make it. I ask, then why didn't they just say that in the first place ??? She said it's the kids that work their have no work ethic, and it's like raising children. Long story and 15 minutes of wasted time I went and got a chocolate frosty from the competition. I've been going to the sonic for two years. The staff are a hit or mess sometimes they're nice, sometimes they're rude. I have only had to send food back maybe three times since I've been going here, usually everything is fresh & hot. Today for the first time ever I asked to use her bathroom and I was disgusted with the conditions I found them in. My friend threw up after he saw how foul both the restrooms were. He said he couldn't believe the conditions of the bathroom of a place we have been eating at for so long. When I called to tell the manager that the bathrooms needed attention she was very rude I couldn't get her name she spoke very fast. I tried to use the app but it would not accept any form of payment. There was a special offered to me on the app but since I couldn't pay on the app because it wouldn't allow me to I asked the Manager Daniel if there is anything he could do. Hi said No. When I asked him why he said "We don't have anything to do with the app so I can't help you?" So I said you'd rather lose business than give the promo offered and showing in my app available to me. His answer "Yes" Wow- needless to say that app will be deleted and a customer lost. UPDATE: Filled out a survey. Was immediately contacted by the manager of the store, Kylin. First I chuckled a little to myself because Kylin was emailing Kalen and I put us in a scenario in public watching people struggle to keep it straight and pronounce correctly. Anyway they were very apologetic and took steps to make sure that something like the experience I had didn't happen again. Then offered to make it right by mailing me a gift card so I could come back and give it another go. They made it right and then some, I thought that was very nice of them to do. I was not looking for anything free, just miffed at the whole thing in general. Kylin has re-earned back the 5 star rating from me, and my next visit was pleasant with plenty of Oreos in my Oreo blast! Opted for the drive thru this time instead of parking and it was quick and friendly. Went to sonic to get an Oreo blast. Been here many times before without incident. Katrina brought out my order and she didn't bring napkins. Ice cream was dripping off the side and it got my hand sticky. I asked her for napkins and she said she would be right back. She never came back and I sat there for a good 15 min all while watching her do nothing but pace back and forth in the waiting area. Meanwhile I start eating the Oreo blast, there was no Oreo in my blast! Just some crushed on top! This was the worst experience I've had here. I didn't want to call the manager because I was angry and I didn't want spit in my replacement blast or I guess for Katrina just to not bring out my new orss. Tried it for the first time. Not impressed. The burger is super dry, they left tomatoes on my husband's burger even though they confirmed when I said to take them off. I asked for marinara with the mozz sticks but they gave us ranch. The tater tots are just ok, not crispy enough. The fries leave much to desire. Ordered a shake and some blasts. Couldn't get the blasts, so they subbed shakes. They came out and told me, nothing we can really do at that point so ok. Not so ok that my cheesecake blast with caramel and banana was subbed for what must be a strawberry shake? There was no cheesecake at all in there. Maybe a few crumbs of Graham cracker but no cheesecake bits or flavor. It went straight in the trash. My boys pretzels tasted of ammonia somehow. We buy these all the time, they've never tasted off? Overall, it's just weird. I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that until employers are willing to pay enough to attract and keep good employees (and enough of them to be able to do their jobs well) I'm just going to have to keep cooking more at home, and frequenting the small mom and pop family run places that don't have these kinds of issues. When I contacted management (2 managers on duty), neither of them even know the menu, or take responsibility for their poor work. They offered no resolution whatsoever. The service was pretty decent! I ordered in the drive through and had no issues. I was made aware that one of the items I ordered might take a few minutes to prepare since they didn't have the chicken ready. I appreciated being told about the wait, and they were actually pretty quick. The marinara tastes a little funky to me since it's acidic, but that could just be my own preference. Sonic is a solid fast food offering here in East Vancouver. I always find myself visiting Sonic for their mozzarella sticks and the occasional chicken strip basket. My drink of choice is a strawberry slush with orange and extra strawberries. The extra shot of strawberries will help your slushee from drying out! The staff here is always quick and attentive. The facility is clean but nothing special. I give it 5 star for solid mediocrity. You will get what you expect; and that's never a bad thing! read more

I asked if she could repeat the order, the girl must gotten annoyed and raised her voice, repeated the order and I told her please don't get upset. She asked me what sauce I wanted? I said ketchup. The order came and one cheese burger was missing and one burger had only the meat. Gabby the girl who brought the food was super friendly and apologetic and took care of the situation. I wanted to leave but I had my granddaughters and knew the kids would be disappointed. Anyway at the end we got only one napkin per meal and no ketchup. I don't care for returning.
