I was there to get an order for Uber Eats and the guy I assume was the manager, was laughing and playing around. I sat there for a good 20 minutes while they served everyone else, so I pushed the button again and told them what I was there for and he said "Get the fuck out of here. We don't give a fuck about you" and laughed some more as I was backing up. I pulled back in to ask what he just said and he stayed quiet. All of the staff were playing around and laughing and eating and drinking inside the building. Sunday March 10th - 8:44pm Placed mobile order and went through drive through. The manager says comes out and hands me my bag and says "I thought you were a doordash so I stapled the bag. THEY REQUEST THE FOOD BACK AGAIN AFTER I CLEARLY OPENED IT. I join the line a THIRD time and wait about 10 minutes this time. Explain the dilemma and the manager started to get rude..( because they can't make the order correct?)...They "remade" the order. The manager insisted the order was perfect this time because she made it herself. I thanked her and drove off and went home because I have spent about an hour here at this point... I get home and the burgers the same, covered in butter the buns literally soaked, and 9 onion squares. No bacon. Nothing else. The food here is good, when you can get it. Mobile app ordering is at best a 50% proposition. You are ahead of time, show at or before your scheduled pick up time, and check in using the mobile app. This is when things get bad. Just today I waited over 20 minutes after showing up and checking in to pick up an order I placed and paid for. Employees said they had no record of my order, even after I showed them my confirmation of my order and check in on my phone. Well surprise, surprise. I left without any food, and my credit card being charged for the order I never received. No refund issued, No nothing. Still waiting for some sort of reply Sonic Corporate. My hubby and I stopped here on a Saturday night for a quick bite to eat. It was around 11pm and the place was packed!!! A little early for drunk eats. Anyway, we pulled into a spot to place our order and we almost left. It took the attendant about 5 plus minutes to answer so we could order. We had ordered a burger with no bun. We asked if they could do a lettuce wrap and they said they don't have them (just shredded lettuce m). Okay, just a burger is fine and a large tot. Once we ordered the food it came out within 5-10 minutes. The attendant didn't have any salt for the tots so he had to came back out. Also we never got any mints. I believe the mints are still a thing at sonic but I haven't been in years so I could be wrong. The tots were good on the top part of the box but as you get into the center the tots were not solid but more squishy. My burger also came out with a bun. Ugh luckily I am not celiac as this could of been an issue. I ended up taking the bun off as I can't eat gluten due to GI issues. Ugh and my stomach still bothered me. We could have gotten another burger but needed to get back to the hotel as we had an early flight. read more

DONT EAT/DRINK HERE! I just left here about 1.5 hours ago. We waited for about 40 minutes for our order of milkshakes and drinks, no food at all. It looked like there was just one girl bringing all of the food out. They also got the order wrong. You'd think that after 40 minutes they'd at least have the order correct. The worst part is I ordered a strawberry cheesecake milkshake. Once I started to get to the bottom I noticed a sour taste no thought that it was the strawberries. I assumed (or hoped) there were fresh strawberries in it. After drinking a bit more I realized it was the chunks of "cheesecake" that had the sour taste! Of all the years I've driven past Sonic throughout my life in the West, East and Mid-West, it wasn't until about a month ago that I finally tried the staple drive-in chain. Gotta admit, my first experience down in Rossford location wasn't great at all. After spending about 20 minutes on the walk-up menu to carefully craft my family's meal I found out the credit card machine wasn't responding to my card. Then I decided to spend another 15 minutes to download the app, load $20 to pay for the meal I created on the kiosk, only to find out the app wasn't responding. I finally knocked on the door to speak to a manager, *then* to find out that the particular kiosk I was using had a busted credit card reader, and also the mobile app wasn't hooked up to their particular location. What a joke... I thought. So they printed out my order inside then took another 10 minutes to make them, at which point they dumped the order in front of me and quickly walked back in. I took the food (without paying for them) back to the car to hungry wife and daughter whom were waiting a good hour for their corn dogs. At this point, I debated whether to walk away or go back and pay for the food. I opted for latter. I told the manager that I hadn't paid for the food yet, which he hadn't realized until I mentioned it. When I inquired about it, he was nice enough to take care of my bill. Enough about Rossford location. This particular location was a lot better experience. We had a working kiosk, friendly wait staff, of whom only downfall was forgetting to bring us ketchup packets for corn dogs. Tried their burgers the first time, but this time decided to try the boneless wings. I liked the burger better. Primary reason why we came back, and probably *will* continue to come back is because Sonic is about the only place in town that serve corn dogs.. We wish there were Hot Dog on a Stick nearby, but there aren't. So we settle with Sonic. read more

If you happen to be a minute or 2 late for a deal, they always give it to you anyway. Some of my favorite sonic treats; Diet Green Tea/ blackberry, Chicago dog and their shakes are thick and flavors a plenty. One of fast foods best. This is the worst sonic! It is extremely slow, sketchy, and the stalls never work! It's a shame because it's the only one around.

We habe seen a slide in the quality of service. Went thru and picked up 6 drinks; 3 shakes and 3 slushies. Took a long time, probably 15 minutes. We got home, passed out drinks and my banana shake is dripping from the bottom. On closer look, I see that Sonic had to have make the hole and KNEW they did it. How do i know they were aware of it b4 they handed them out? They. "Patched". The. Hole. With. A. Sticker. Can you believe that? Patching a customers liquid treat with a Sonic sticker. Pulled into Sonic this evening, had to drive completely around the building twice, because I they had more monitors where you pull up to order from, broke than ones that worked. Placed our order for four meals, nothing special, and it was 40 minutes before we got our food. Upon finally getting our food, the chicken tenders meals that two of the people in our group ordered were missing the onion rings (not too big of a deal) the Texas toast was cold as were the tenders, but the worst part about the tenders were that they tasted like they had floated in the fryer for hours, than we're finally pulled out and sat aside for hours before being served. Tasted awful. The third meal was a Philly steak which was super dry, and a hot dog meal was our fourth. Out of everything we ordered, the tots and hot dog was the highlight. I've not frequented many Sonics, but this was by far the worst I've ever been to. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

I went through and very explicitly told the staff that there was a peanut allergy in my group. Nothing in our order had peanuts in it. But when we got home, the person with the allergy found butterfinger pieces in her blast. This could easily kill her if ingested. I called but was sent to voicemail after just 2 rings. I better get a call from management about this. Not to mention half the stall windows are out of service, you'll wait at least 30 minutes to get your order...if you placed it on the app. Good luck trying to get someone to take your order at the pull up windows. You'll sit there and hit the order button multiple times before you ultimately get tired of waiting and go somewhere else. Update: I received a call from the assistant manager on duty, unfortunately I did not get his name. He proceeded to tell me that there was no possible way a piece of butterfinger could end up in the blast. I did not appreciate this because it clearly did happen. We were not accusing anyone of doing it intentionally, but that there could be cross contamination throughout the kitchen. I requested to be called by a different manager and was told "well they will just tell you the same thing" which to me says "I'm reading off of a script and don't really care about your issue" I don't care if a different manager says the same thing. I need them to understand how serious this could have turned out to be. It's clearly not impossible to happen since it did. I need to also add that this assistant manager hung up on us! I used to work at a business very much like sonic, and even though we had every candy in its own closed container with its own scoop...there was still cross contamination just because of how quickly you had to work. I'm so glad that they have a location in Toledo! I used to have to drive to Perrysburg to get my Sonic drinks! For those not familiar with Sonic, you can either go through the drive through or park in one of the spaces. From my experience, parking seems to be faster (depending on how long the line is at the drive through). When you're ready to order, you press the button and someone will take your order. You can even pay with credit card at the stall. Then someone will come out on roller skates and bring you your food! I can't really say how the food menu is because I usually only come here for their drinks! Gotta love their happy hour! Happy hour is from 2-4 pm everyday and all drinks are half off. The cherry limeade is pretty good but my favorite is the Strawberry real fruit slush!! It's such a yummy blend of real fruit and a slushy! read more

This was me and the kids first time at a Sonic. Ordering was interesting and I had to repeat back the order twice. When she read it to me she still had it wrong. The card reader was broken. When the orders were brought out I asked if the kids meals came with toys. He said no, he does not think so. I looked at the screen and pointed to where it said includes a toy. He went back and did return with toys then, but better training is needed. The prices are not horrible, but a little over priced for the quality of food. The slushies were wonderful! I will be going through the drive through for these many times in the future! Happy hour would just make them even better. We tried one with nerds and one with popping candy. Both are yummy! Let me first say Toledo is a total hell hole. That being said, our stop for late night milkshakes at Sonic was very enjoyable. We loved watching the waiter and waitress skate around and that one guy could do tricks she said. Milkshakes were 1/2 price after 8, and they let us practice our french outside. Food at Sonics is disgusting I don't see how anyone likes this garbage. The fries are hard and cold every time I had to go there and the the hamburgers are tasteless. The last time I went is the last it was ridicuolus. I ordered two hot dogs and other food items for my kids , and when I got the order they gave me one hot dog so I parked in a lane told them which they sounded annoyed, and when the girl came out with the hot dog she said can I get the other one ,huh? Went thru the drive thru for some shakes tonight. The lid wasn't on properly and spilled shake in between the car sear and the console. The girl and the window was oblivious, almost didn't give our debit card back and we had to ask for knapkins and then go in the bathrooms to get more knapkins. She didn't apologize or offer help. We went to the Sonic Drive-In at 3225 Secor Rd, Toledo, Ohio the other day. We first tried Sonic when on vacation in TN and also when they first opened in Toledo. We really liked the food back then. When we went the other day, the food seemed so salty. The hot dogs were almost inedible. I had a Chicago dog on a regular bun and a Chili dog with mustard and onion. I think that thedogs were kept in hot water too long, or something. The bun on my Chicago dog was soggy as well. My wife's tater tots were greasy as well. All in all a bad experience that we will not repeat. I am so very disapointed. I guess from now on we will drive the extra miles to Tom's on the East Side. read more

The one thing that really got me excited about this place was the slushes. However, after waiting in the drive thru line for what seemed like nearly 30 minutes I got my dreams shattered. What a disappointment. There is so much syrup or sweetener that it's almost unbearable to drink. I paid for the RT 44 or whatever the largest size was, took two sips, and had to go to a different drive through for a better slush. Also I wasn't very happy about how you can see the employees playing and laughing in the background while you are at the window paying. This is why we had to wait in line so long? So me and my friends were out to go get something to eat real quick and we stopped at this sonic so the first time it them forever to get our food and we got New York hotdogs and there was barely any topping and now the second time we went we came around 8:00 pm to get some shakes because there half price and there wasn't a shake there was some flavored milk and took them about 20-30 mins just to get them our stuff.I do not recommend this place unless there is like little to no people. read more
