I had a Great Experience with my daughter tonight. The drive up menu is fun to use and to eat in the car. Great Service from Paula!! :) Plus the food was delicious and overall amazing SERVICE! Will be BACK!

Cheesy Bacon SONIC Stack, it was OK! A little plain...

A wild Sonic appeared! Before any of you think I'm insane for giving a 4-star to a fast food restaurant... I am rating this as I would a fast food restaurant, not a normal restaurant, obviously can't compare. Anywhoo! I had a pretty good experience here. I'll break down everything I tried, the total, service, convenience, etc. Food: I tried (don't judge me on the amount) Premium Chicken Bites, Cheesy Bacon SONIC Stack, Garlic Butter Bacon Cheeseburger, SuperSONIC Jalapeno Double Cheeseburger, Mozzarella Sticks, Chili Cheese Tots, Groovy Fries and a Peanut Butter Oreo Shake. Premium Chicken Bites: Quality of the chicken bites was surprisingly good - didn't get a single bit of cartilage or chewy fat in the entire order. Taste was on par with Wendy's Spicy Chicken Nuggets, however, I would place them maybe a tiny bit beneath Wendy's (I'm biased - I love Wendy's and nothing beats their spicy nugs). I did not think they were spicy, not sure if they were meant to be, but anyway they were good and I'd recommend them to fellow nug enthusiasts. $7.59 for a large, not bad. Cheesy Bacon SONIC Stack: I was under the impression that Texas toast was kind of like garlic bread, or like toasted bread with butter or SOMETHING but this burger was made with just plain toasted bread. Not that the toasted bread was bad or anything but it was just super plain, didn't really make the burger stand out at all, was just overall a really plain ordinary burger that I wouldn't really go out of my way to eat again. Mid. $7.29. Meh. Garlic Butter Bacon Cheeseburger: This one was def the highlight of my fat feast - I am a garlic bread FIEND and this was pretty much a garlic bread burger. It was great! Grilled onions, bacon, cheese, garlic bread buns, perf. Would for sure go out of my way to try it again - I was a bit surprised to find a menu item like it, but am super glad I tried it. Would recommend. $7.29. SuperSONIC Jalapeno Double Cheeseburger: this was probably the weakest of the burger bunch. It was drowned in mustard - which I'm not sure was intentional, and leads me to believe a cook took out their frustration on my burger by choking the mustard bottle - (I kid) - but it pretty much overpowered anything else on the burger. I like mustard, but even for me, it was a tad much. 3/10. $7.59. Mozzarella Sticks: these were highly recommended based on a bunch of reviews I saw online and yes they were good, but they were pretty much the frozen mozz sticks you can get at any grocery store, so not that they're bad, but nothing special. Would I reorder? Yes. Would I recommend? Probably not as you can probably get a massive bag for the same price. $5.59 for medium. Chili Cheese Tots: I LOVE chili cheese fries of any sort. That being said, I've tried countless chili cheese fries at so many different establishments and honestly Sonic's were pretty good! I love beanless chili and beans were thankfully absent from Sonic's tots. Flavor was good, tots maybe a wee bit soggy but didn't feel undercooked or anything, just a little soggy from the chili & cheese. I enjoyed them and would reorder. $4.59 for a small. Groovy Fries: these were crispy, however, they were a little greasy. You know how sometimes you get fries that are like.. transparent almost? Yeah, they were like that. OK, but would not recommend or reorder. $3.29 for a small. Peanut Butter Oreo Shake: I love peanut butter but this shake was a little overwhelming. Too much peanut butter and not enough oreo. Too sweet. Would recommend if you worship peanut butter but if you like oreos more, I'd go with some other oreo shake or blizzard thing. Would not reorder, price was around $6 for a small. TL;DR: Garlic Butter Bacon Cheeseburger, Chili Cheese Tots & Chicken Bites were great! As far as service goes, I went twice. First time, got 2 shakes, and took about 15 minutes in an empty line, however, I do want to mention their ice cream machine was acting up so I don't blame the staff at all. Just one of those things that happens. Second time, I got the feast, did a mobile order and got everything immediately after pulling up (ordered maybe 4 minutes in advance, although I don't suggest doing this at a busier time). I went at around 4pm and thankfully the drive thru line was empty, but I will mention that IF there is a drive thru line, it completely blocks the spaces for drive-in/mobile order pick-up so I can def see this as a problem if it is busy. There are only 2 mobile order stalls, so I'd be mindful of the time you are ordering, or just pull up first if a stall is open, then order and wait... or just do drive thru. Staff is friendly, they apologized for the ice cream mishap even though I know they weren't at fault. I got my food super quick and everything was hot and made it home ok even after a 20+ minute commute. My total for the feast ended up around $40 (they do have online ordering deals, so I suggest downloading their app), and I think it was pretty good. 7/10 :)

Every time I visit this Sonic, they forget an item or mess up my order. I went again today out of necessity and convenience, hoping for a better experience, but it was just as disappointing. I ordered two combos and asked the drive-thru person about combo sizes, but she completely ignored my question. To this day, I still don't know if they even have small combos. After waiting about 20 minutes -- watching other cars get their food while my baby cried in the back seat -- I finally got my order, only to find a burned bun. Between the lack of attention, poor service, and low-quality food, this location really needs to do better.

I was excited to hear that a Sonic opened a local spot, so we decided to stop by after a night of partying. All the drive in stalls were filled so we went through the drive thru. I have to say that the drive thru process was a bit slow but I'm sure they're still working out the kinks. Now for the food, I have tried other Sonic locations and always enjoyed their food. But to be painful honest, I was disappointed with the food here. I ordered the SuperSonic Double Cheeseburger and it just lacked flavor, I took 3 bites and didn't eat the rest. My wife ordered the Chili Cheese Coney Dog and it was just ok! The fries were decent and so were the Chicken Nuggets. Maybe the cooks are still getting acclimated with the kitchen but they'll need to step it up for this spot to succeed. In conclusion, the spot under succeeded my past Sonic experiences and expectations. I truly hope it's just opening challenges and that it improves!

The only reason why I came back was bc I had a gift card. I will never come back and order a burger and fries. The fries were rock solid and the burger was burnt! And tbh and food tastes so bad. Idk if it's just me but they after taste of the fries and burger are so disgusting! But the shakes and drinks are pretty decent

Stopped by for a slushee, the wait was a tad long . I got the dragon fruit slushee and it was delicious. Also got some onion rings which were your typical onion rings . The location was nice and open .

Bacon Ranch Queso Wrap

Cheesy, chicken loaded, salty, and crispy bacon! All wrapped in a tortilla with a happy hour slush cherry limemade. Under $5! Love the open dining room. Bring a jacket. It does get chilly during the evenings. Good service. Love using their app for deals!

No marinara or ketchup Listed at all!

Ok. I gave it a few shots before I wrote this. Did both drive thru and door dash: Drive thru: took almost 13 minutes before they even came on the speaker. I said "hello" at least 8 times. Then at the window staff was kinda arguing about who had the drive thru and that was just annoying. Food was good otherwise. Door dash: ordered 3x- 1st time was good. 2nd and 3rd time was horrible. It was not on the dasher! Ordered 2 - 10 Piece mozzarella sticks w/ 5 ranch for each (that's the max). Both times received a total of 2 ranches and 2 marinara. Now, marinara wasn't even on the order so why was it in the bag? Then ordered a corn dog with mustard..... not one mustard was found, but there were 6 ketchups! Again, ketchup not listed! So be careful when placing through door dash - or ask the driver to ensure you have your sauces - because they are not reading the order and providing things not even asked for. Horrible service for the delivery. Pictures are proof only of what was ordered. I'll update next time with what is actually received.

Great food! Staff was wonderful. Definitely worth it…read more Burria was fantastic. Not tons of seats, but good enough.

I went on a taco run yesterday to try to find the best taco in Whittier…read more Started off the run with a keto taco mixed with asada and al pastor and then a regular tripa taco. Keto taco - toasted/grilled cheese instead of a regular tortilla - needed to be done a little more on one side as the cheese wasn't quite toasty enough to stay in place to slightly resemble the shape of a taco. Bit hard to eat, covered my hands in grease. Asada tastes almost boiled, and this being my 2nd or 3rd time getting the Asada here, it consistently tastes like it was boiled and not grilled. Unsure of meat quality or preparation, but there are no grill marks and it's a bit chewy. Same with the al pastor. Tripa taco was bizarre. Strips of flat skin instead of the usual roundish, cylindrical shape of tripa (intestine). Usually a saltier, fattier meat than asada, which is my preference but the one here was lacking in flavor and the texture threw me off a bit. Tripa can be chewy - unless requested extra done, which is how I normally order it - but there was no saving this tripa. I think it needs to be sliced differently, the cuts made it inedible. Brother shared some of his chorizo taco and it was the better of the bunch. Red chorizo, TJ style, although it was also lacking a teeny bit in flavor... onions and cilantro to the rescue! Still, mediocre. Salsas were ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Don't think the tortillas were homemade. Service was fine, cashier takes your order, dude at the counter was chill and had a friendly attitude. Seating was limited. Mostly bar style seating but the majority was in front of a window and it had so much heat trapped from the glass that it was kind of uncomfortable. Other seats are too close to the bathroom. Good for a quick bite or just pick-up orders. Wouldn't plan a sit down/dine-in visit. Parking is scarce and has really small spots, wouldn't come if you're driving a pick-up truck or anything like that. Food was reasonably priced, which is good, however; the food was lacking so I would not return.

The sambal chili aioli was a sleeper - it packed in a ton of unexpected spice. Deliciously unexpected. The thick toasted brioche bun also added a layer of sweetness. We ordered the turkey BLT because it was a special. It was, of course, delish, but I should have kept to the tried and trues. I'll definitely be back. Also PSA and order your sandwiches for pickup. Keep in mind I ordered around 12:50pm and the sandwich was ready at 1:45pm. I ordered the Spicy Gabagool Sandwich, and there were barely any mixed greens as compared to other reviews & the menu photo (I love my veggies)! The meats were yummy, but they did not stand out to me/didn't taste anything special. Unfortunately, the same goes for the bread. However, I did like the packaging of the sandwich and everything in the sandwich tasted well together; the chile spread, burrata, hot honey, pickled onions, meats.. the spice level is definitely tolerable; I didn't need water at all. It was more of a small kick. I also tried their lemon crumb bar and it was very delicious! If anything I would come again to try more of their unique baked goods. Overall, I enjoyed the ambiance of the shop. It is quite small and there are many people waiting for their order inside. There is only outdoor seating, which is scarce.

This review is not about the Jimmy Johns chain (although a huge fan!). This review is about the Jimmy Johns on Washington Blvd and specifically the #7 Spicy East Coast Italian. I've eaten a lot of sandwiches, and no matter the shop if there's an Italian one on the menu I can't help but give it a try. I had a #7 from Jimmy Johns a few years back and remember liking it. So about 6 mos ago I found myself in Sante Fe Springs for work. Hungry and with some time to kill I ordered the #7. I needed to do some work on my forklift and figured I had a few minutes but great day in the morning the jimmy johns truck came ripping up in 6 min flat. Driver was friendly, I couldn't believe the speed it arrived and so I started to tear into the paper of my Spuckie. The great thing about the #7 is the hot peppers. Every good Italian sandwich has the perfect amount of spicy hot peppers. And this JJ absolutely kills it. As you take your first bite you immediately taste the cold freshness of the salami and capicola (doubled on the #7), the perfect amount of lettuce and for a second you think you're in downtown Boston getting ready to walk into Fenway. The heat from the peppers starts to hit and just when it could get a little too spicy, the perfect amount of mayonnaise mellows it out. The gutted bread make for the perfect meat to bread ratio and the fresh juicy tomato finishes the sandwich out. I was impressed. I loved it in fact. I couldn't believe how good it was and thought it would never be replicated. But the following week there I was. So I ordered it again, this time two in fact for a friend. 6 min. BOOM. There's the driver with two sandwiches. I'm thinking there's no way it's going to be as good as last time. It's not possible. THE EXACT COMBINATION OF PERFECTNESS HAPPENS AGAIN. My friend can't believe. I'm in shock. Convinced that this sub maker on Washington Blvd was born in Milan, raised in downtown Boston under the tutelage of the cities greatest Spuckie makers of all time I start to make it a tradition. Weekly. Never once have I been let down. I've even tried to alter it (adding more hot peppers) HOW DARE I. This sandwich is perfect. The guy back there slicing the capicola with laser focus, squirting on mayo in the perfect amounts, placing each Peper in the perfect spot and ensuring the right balance of sweet and hot is a genius. Don't mess with work of art. Order the #7 and enjoy. God Bless America.
