We pulled up there was only one other car there. It took 20 minutes before they even got to us to order and it took so long that the red light literally went off. Service was horrible and even after we ordered which was just tots and 2 drinks we sat there for an additional 15 mins. I rang back in to see how much longer and was greeted with a mess they apologize for the wait and would get to me but we had already ordered 3 easy to make items. I left I got tired of waiting. This is the very worst Sonic I have ever been to. The service is deplorable. Over the last 2 weeks it has taken up to 30 minutes to get a sandwich, fries and drink. Where to start...it usually takes 45 minutes to get two drinks. If you ask for help, they ignore you. You hit the red button and they ignore you. Sometimes the food is cold. I've given them multiple chances but yesterday was the last time I will give them my money. This has to be the worst Sonic in history. The food is never ready when it says it will be, and then it comes out cold missing every single condiment that you added. The order is always cleared from the screen 10-15 minutes before the food comes leaving you to have to push the button to remind them you still exist. After exactly thirty minutes stuck my head out of the driver's window and asked the server if they weren't taking orders or something. She told me flat out they are short handed and that they take care of mobile to-go orders first. This is the ABSOLUTE worst drive through...and I think there are some racially motivate people there. I arrived to this locate at 10:41p, waited 10mins to order, waited another 20+ minutes for a coney, left and got food some where else and they STILL didn't have my food ready. Yesterday morning I decided I finally had to leave the house after being quarantined for days due to an ugly virus. We decided on getting Sonic for breakfast since it was almost 11. We utilized the drive in service, the carhop was nice but our wait time was long. I made sure to ask for salsa/picante sauce and was assured they would but it in the bag. We got home just a few miles from Sonic to find no salsa and a cold breakfast burrito. I was very disappointed, so I decided to call the chain and let them know about my experience. I got Betty on the phone who is the general manager, she listened and apologized and offered to remake our food but I was not interested in getting back out of the house. Then she asked could she remake the food and bring it to my house?!? Excuse me? What did she say? Yes she offered to deliver my food to my house.How could I turn down that offer? Within 30 minutes Betty was at my door with hot fresh food and more than what we had ordered. What began as a bad experience at Sonic turned into an above and beyond story of a business making it right after a mistake. I am so impressed by this Sonic and would recommend anyone giving them a chance, although I do wish they were a bit faster. read more

Start here with the update: 10/4/17: 125pm so I only go back because it's close. What's wrong with me. I placed an order, cranberry lemonade. I drove off. Took a sip. Wrong. WTF. How hard is it. I was clear. The person repeated it over the speaker. So I called and they said they would make it right. I could go back and get it corrected but I am super concerned that they'll spit in it or something. Oh, and I told the carhops that every time I'm there and I get a free drink they charge me something. And asked if she would tell the manager I've left reviews about how terrible the service is. As she walked away she muttered something under her breath. How rude. 2pm: I decided I'd go back. The manager came out and apologized. Said she'd give me some coupons for the inconvenience. Not only did she bring me coupons as promised but she asked me how my service was and apologized repeatedly. She said they have been trying to go from sow and rude to fast and friendly. She explained that my husband and I could come back tomorrow for a free meal each and beverage. I am updating my review to 3 stars. Thank you Manager Lizzy. Awful Sonic. Just moved to the area and been here three times. Each time it's taken forever (20+ minutes), order has been read back to me wrong (and when I say no that's wrong they just say thank you) and order has been delivered wrong. This last time a manager came out to correct my order and said she would fix it. It was then cancelled and I sat there 20 minutes and no one ever came out with food or an apology or anything, so I left. Wow. We ordered 2 Family Sized Boxes of Onion Rings and an order ofJalapeno peppers. After waiting 26 minutes the server came out with three orders of half filled family size onion rings. We returned one box of onion rings for the Jalapeno peppers, and she gave us the box of onion rings because "they didn't say anything about it". She later revealed that she was new at this and we had to pull out the calculator to help her do the math for the change. I'm going to be honest I never been to this Sonic only the in Montgomery, because that's where I'm from. Been here in Prattville for almost 5 years, and was thinking about trying this Sonic. I hadn't been to a Sonic in about 12 years the reasoning is: They're too costly, and waaaaay too slow always been slow and I don't know why. Sometimes they get the order right sometimes they don't and, they always been sooo slow. I might give this one a try but, by the review maybe not. The food is mediocre at best but the worst thing about this particular sonic is the wait. My husband and I stopped to get a quick dinner with our 18 month old in tow. We waited 45 minutes only for them to bring our the completely wrong order...so we had to wait another 30 minutes. By this point our toddler wasn't having it and was screaming her head off. I've lived in the area for over 10 years and this place hasn't gotten any better. They change managers like underwear and they are scrapping the bottom of the barrel with those. Had to wait for 20-30 minutes just for my order. Ridiculous. The other was I had a reward to redeem from sonic and it said to show your carhop when your order is delivered. Which I did. The manager said that I could not use it because I didn't tell them when I placed my order. In the mean time my order was incorrect. I reviewed my order before I paid and everything was correct.
