It's Sonic. Food was good both times we were there. Fast service. Staff is very friendly

we went to this sonic location today and ordered two cheeseburgers, fries and drinks. The were both cold. We went back to the drive-through window and asked if they could either microwave them or give us some hot cheeseburgers. The girl apologised, took the burgers, and after a few minutes handed us another bag of two cheeseburgers. i am pretty sure those were the same cheeseburgers we gave her. They were both still cold. I actually threw mine away. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will never be back. Worst food ever!!!!! read more

We went through the drive-thru. The girl that took our order was friendly and the girl that gave us the order was okay. My grilled cheese was soggy, but I guess that's because of the packaging. My husband's foot long coney dog was good and tots were good, too. Onion rings were okay. We didn't have to wait very long for our order and everything was fresh. read more

Ordered two burgers. One was standard double deluxe. Other one was smash burger with customized toppings. Smash burger was totally botched. Didn't even bother reading ticket and just gave a normal smash. Wasted the money. The person I bought it for refused and I'm stuck paying for it and have to keep the burger. Door dash would only credit $5 back. Definitely won't get sonic again. read more

Skeptical due to the reviews but have always liked getting some Sonic food once in a while. Overall good experience, slightly better food than most fast food places. Food -- Ordered a corn dog kids meal w/ tots and juice, cheeseburger meal w/ ketchup only, tots, & Sprite, a small jumbo popcorn chicken, and small brownie Sonic shake. It was $28 I believe. Overall, food was pretty good. Everything was correct, and they didn't forget sauces. Hot and fresh, and stayed hot until arrived home to eat it. No complaints about the burger or corn dog. But the popcorn chicken ended up being kind of chewy and got several randomly bad tasting pieces, probably won't be getting that again. And the shake was nothing special, even with it being $5, there wasn't much brownie mixed into it and the ice cream noticeably tastes off. It was also much too thick to drink, like a knockoff Blizzard maybe. Just personal preference things, nothing bad really, but not great for the price. Service -- We went through the drive thru, it took a little less than 10 minutes, with 2 cars in front of ours. The food was made fresh though so I can see why, it was a reasonable amount of time. The guy at the window was friendly and got our food to us quickly & smoothly. Ambiance -- Setting was pretty typical. Didn't notice any trash in parking lot which was nice. Average amount of customers (3-5 cars). read more

I waited for a drink order for 30 minutes...ordered on app too and prepaid for a sushi and sundae for my little girl.

Waited at order booth for 8 minutes after red button pushed. Finally heard female blurt something out do I started ordering. No response so I pushed button again. 4 minutes later she blurts out unrecognizable words. I then noticed other cars dealing with same issue. I finally left. Blew half of my lunchtime! No thanks read more

We have been going to Sonic for some time. Over the course of a month and a half, we have been to Mishawaka location at least twice a week (which can be validated with charges on our bank account). We always get the same general items. We returned this past Tuesday. I ordered our usual, two "large" Sonic Blasts, with M&M's and Reese's Cups. The lady on the other end of the speaker said they do not have a large size for the Sonic Blast, and they only have a medium and small. I said that wasn't true and I was looking at it on the menu board and named off. the sizes and the prices. The large was $7 and some change. She said no they don't, and I wasn't reading it correctly. I said fine and maybe I misread it. I pulled up to the window after waiting a while, due to the long line. It is not uncommon for this place to be relatively slow at getting orders out. I gave the lady my card and waited for my order and card. The window opened and they gave me the blasts and then my card. The receipt said $17.29 for TWO blasts, which was for the large size, but they gave them to me in a medium cup. The mediums are around $5 and some change. Then I got some excuse how they don't even have large cups anymore. I said I had just been there a few days ago and got larges for that price. I was told I was wrong. I told the lady I wasn't wrong and that I could prove it. Then she said they just changed it in the past two and a half weeks. I again said that wasn't true and she started getting loud with me. At that time, I could plainly hear another employee loudly say and I quote...Jesus Christ just pull away already. This is NOT excusable! The lady then tried to explain that the owner changed the menu, and the medium cost had gone up and the menu would be changed. I said how is the medium going to be the same price as the large. She said the others shouldn't have been giving us large ones for the past three weeks. I tried to explain that wasn't right and very misleading and they were cheating customers. She said it wasn't them it was the owners, and another girl said you got your ice cream just go away and then shut the window. I will be telling everyone the horrible service we received and how they had up charged me and lied about it and tried to make it look like I was the bad person, and that the owner was to blame. For the price of $17.29 for two medium blasts, we will gladly give our money to some other place. You are better off going somewhere else! #dobetter read more

Service was quick. Food was good. We ordered popcorn chicken, bacon cheese burger, tater tots, fries, slush, and sodas. All was very good. The worst part here had to do with the small spaces between the drive-in places. We could barely for our Ford Flex in there. Can't imagine a bigger vehicle fitting at all. I was surprised they were so small since all the other Sonic's I have ever been to were plenty spacious & I didn't have to risk losing a mirror to order curbside. read more

Seriously, don't eat here. First, I don't know if it is common sonic policy to not provide free refills on soft drinks or just this one. But it's something that basically EVERY other restaurant now does. If you want to charge $.50 for the price of the cup, ok, I get that. But full price for a second beverage, no! And maybe, if you aren't going to provide free refills you could make your drinks NOT 7/8 ice. Two swallows of liquid and the drink is gone, full price for a new one... Are. You. Kidding. Me? Plus, $.50 for a water?!?! What?! Food was sub par and way overpriced! I paid $28 for two amazing burgers, bottomless fries, and two drinks(with free refills) at Red Robin. At sonic it was $21 for a crappy burger and overly breaded and dry popcorn chicken, and two drinks without free refills. Finally, service was immensely slow. I was there with my niece for her 4th birthday. I was wondering if we would get to order before she turned five. They took ten minutes to respond to the guy in front of me, and another five to take mine. Go somewhere else. Culver's is down the road, go there, the drink refills are free. Across the street is chick-fil-a and the popcorn chicken isn't all breading. read more

I've come here many of times for years, mostly out of habit. Their chili cheese cony dogs is what first got my attention, but then I also found a love of the real fruit slushies. Over the last few years they've became sloppy with their orders. The meat is just sloppy, breading taste a bit off and the drinks have far more ice. If you are looking for the feel of a drive through, then this might be for you, but otherwise it's not worth the trip. I've been to far better Sonics without the hassle of having my order messed up on every single visit. Sometimes they tell me the drive in section is closed when I ordered ahead for pick up. Sometimes they loose my order completely or give me an iced drink that should be hot. They don't even bother with napkins either. In this particular order my slush is most definitely not a strawberry real fruit slush. I would say it is probably a lime and cherry slush without any real fruit. It took exactly two sips until I was in pain because that's what I can't have. They also completely forgot my hot coffee with the two additional creams. When they finally gave me the right coffee, it still didn't have the creams and I didn't feel like bothering yet again about my slush. read more

Waiting for 4 minutes in the drive thru before they even took my order. Had to wait for 15 more minutes to get my order (a popcorn chicken mean and a Diet Coke). As soon as I got the food there was a large nasty hair on the chicken so I took it all back and asked for a refund. They told me to throw out the food and then only refined me the amount for the popcorn chicken. This means I ended up paying $5 and change for 2 drinks. I called the store when I got home and was told that they were busy and the refund was correct. I said I didn't agree and the manager said that the refund was correct. I called the corporate customer service line and gave all my info. They said the management above the store would reach out to me. It's been 2 weeks and no response. I did get a server asking how the situation was resolved and could not answer positively since there has been no resolution. Still no response. read more

This used to be our favorite drive thru restaurant. In the last month we have gone here 6 times. Five out of the six times our order was not correct. They didn't follow our requests at all. I don't think they understand English, or don't care. We will not go back here. If you do, better check your order before you leave the window. I didn't say anything the first 4 times but I will not tolerate this any more. I'm done. read more

As fast food store like this, I have to say they really did a great job. Their old fashioned, unique skater waitress is quite impressive. Chicago hot dog is better than I expected and their ice tea probably would be the best one I've ever had than any other fast food restaurant so far. read more

Service is okay can't really complain. The experience is different and the food is good The wait time isn't that long and usually there's plenty of choices to order from and as long as you don't get someone next to you blasting annoying country music it's great read more

I'll leave this review here since upper management can't handle returning phone calls of customers that have issues with the service they received. it's been over a week since I've received any communication from upper management I called the sonic line left the complaint that my bun to my burger was rockhard and my strawberry limeade was sour it had brown limes in there and when I called and spoke to the manager she said well nobody did it on purpose so in other words you're admitting one of your employees wasn't paying attention to the details of their job and put bad product in my drink read more

In the last year sonic has become my favorite fast food restaurant. If you want a Burger - they got it. If you wanna hot dog - they got it. If you want chicken - they've got that too. Or maybe you just want some sweet tea or an ice cream cone and they've also got that. Their prices are not cheap but I feel that the quality of food and flavor is very good. Plus you can get a strawberry sundae any day of the entire year. If money is tight sign up for their app and receive coupons and discounts throughout the year. read more

Pretty fast and the food is ok. It is kind of pricey though for the amount. Unless you hit happy hour but even then some items are way too much like chicken club sandwich for 6.99 with no fries or drink! I can get a meal for same amount at American pancake house or Nick's patio with more to eat and probably more healthier lol but then Sonic's have tater tots..... read more

We came thru the drive thru about 7:30 on a Tuesday night. Ordered 2 cheesy bacon pretzel dogs. They were out of pretzel buns and asked if we would be okay substituting a regular bun. I agreed. They were both combos, one with a cherry Dr. Pepper and onion rings and one with an unsweetened iced tea and mozzarella sticks. We also ordered a banana split and an additional cherry Dr. Pepper and a strawberry shake. Total came to $37.23. We paid and got everything except the shake. Everything we ordered was either cold or messed up in some way. Our hot dogs were on poppyseed buns and were missing the grilled onions. Only one of our Dr. Peppers was cherry and there was an insane amount of cherry flavoring in it. My husband couldn't even drink it. The onion rings and mozzarella sticks were cold. They failed to mention that they didn't do banana splits anymore so we were given a banana fudge sundae. Not the same thing. The girl at the window tried to tell me she already gave me my shake and then turned around and said "oh it's sitting right there I didn't see it." Super disappointed that I spent $37 and everything was messed up. read more

Absolutely despicable. This place is literally trash. People are rude and service is terrible. We waited in line for 30 minutes and got stuck in line so we couldn't leave. We wait at the speaker for them to take our order for 10 minutes then the worker tells us they're not taking orders anymore. They still had 20 minutes till close which is ridiculous that they didn't tell us earlier that they'd stop serving 20 minutes before closing. Will never be coming back here again the last couple times our nerd slushies barely had any nerds, just made very poorly. They need new management or just need to be closed if they're having a staff shortage. read more

This visit was so good to me! A friend and I stopped by and got the most perfectly wrapped and evenly distributed breakfast burritos ever! The tater tots were fresh... crispy outside and soft inside... and if you didn't know (because I didn't) they have boba (and not the kind that tastes sugar free either)!! Bless the chef (her name is Cat) because that was love . Paris' customer service was also very genuinely friendly and attentive. Shout out to them both for showing love! read more

I like this place. They have a drive thru, A patio ,and a car dine in. It's a cool dine in your car place! Well we ordered and got our meal near 10 minutes. And then I asked if I can get ketchup. Then when someone next to us said "I didn't order this!!! I ordered this!" So when she got out of that convention. I asked again. Ketchup please! Then she gave us the ketchup. Thanks! But I finished already! Bad service! I'll still come occasionally. Not all the time. "Is this place going to be fast? No matter how many times we go to sonic our order is wrong or something is missing... I buy a breakfast burrito and I'll say, did you put salsa in the bag?" They'll say, Yep, it's in there!" The parking is weird, this was my first time eating Sonic. Overall it was a pleasant experience. The parking was a tad bit too close and the waitress was a bit ditzy. Food was okay. Ice cream sonic blast wasn't blended too well. I waited 15 minutes for my ice cream while people who ordered after me were getting served before me. This is the worst sonic I have ever been to. I'm a big fan of sonic, and this one is near my house. I usually order a strawberry limeade slush, and I have never had one made correctly at this location. I keep trying hoping they'll get it right, but they are always consistently miscalculated. My last one was too sour to drink and the one before that had no strawberries. Pathetic. Today I was in a hurry and they didn't give me half of my order. I had to drive all the way back to get half of my order. I would love it if they hired new manager, because I really love sonic, especially in the summer. This one is just terrible. read more

Love Sonic's 1/2 off shakes after 8pm! They are a great fast food service with a friendly staff. I understand that when they are busy sometimes you might have to wait a minute to put in your order, but I'd go to the drive-thru if I were in a rush. National Hot Dog Day wouldn't have been the same. Service and food is always really good for a fast food place.
