Coldstone is wonderful, the choices are numerous. The staff is so nice and kind, but there was a woman customer that came in and was trashy and was rude to the staff. The staff handled it great. I don't ever write bad reviews, this is my very first one. Today I went to Cold Stone with my husband and daughter. We have gone many times before and always enjoyed our over priced ice cream. I always like to have a cup of water with my ice cream and they've always given one when I've asked. They sell Dasani there but it is gross so I prefer tap water. Anyway, today the woman said she wasn't allowed to give water and I had to buy it bottled. I said I've always had a water cup from there with my ice cream and she said "I'm not sure about that" (wtf?? was she questioning me??) and then her coworker said to her "they're allowed to have water" and she said "I was told to never give water" and the other lady just glared at her so then she says "I'll do it this time" (this time? really? What about the 20+ times I've been there before and it's never been an issue?)... So then we get to the register and my daughter and husband both asked for water too (not hearing my conversation that I just had with her) and she was not happy about it...and then she brought us the smallest cups that exist on this planet. You better believe I made her refill mine more than once too. Oh and to top it off, I texted someone I know who works there to tell her about it. If I could a could give a 0 star rating, then I would!! This place is down right nasty, and had the worst service I have ever received in my life! I called several times to simply ask a question! I went back up to the window to check the hours multiple times and researched it online multiple times as well. The door was locked but I could clearly see THREE WORKERS INSIDE!! This is a good high quality ice cream, and this location doesn't seem to differ from the many other Cold Stone Creamery's out there. Best bet is to pick one of the many flavor combinations, and customize if you feel the need. All the sizes are bigger then you think... recommend just getting the "Like It" size. UPDATE YOUR HOURS, COLDSTONE! This is the second or third time now that we've been turned away because the hours listed on Google and here on yelp are inaccurate. When we go to Coldstone, usually it's after we eat and then shop, so we tend to go fairly late. The hours listed online say they're open until 10 but we were there at 9:15 and they were closed. The sign on the door has the correct hours, but that's not really helpful once I've already gotten there just after closing. This is very frustrating, especially since we don't make the trip up there often and had a birthday deal this time. Apart from that, the ice cream is very good (when we can get it). Another reviewer mentioned the "chincy" (small) portions, but you have to understand, this is rich, very filling ice cream. You don't need the portion size of a large DQ blizzard to fill you up. We usually get the smallest or middle size, and the middle one is almost always too much. The ice cream gets 5 stars. Sevice isn't bad, but can be a bit slow at times, though you can see the workers working, so they're usually not slow for lack of effort. Usually takes 5-10 minutes before we can sit down with our ice cream. EDIT: Cold Stone reached out to me and said they are now taking action to change the hours online. I also noticed since writing this review that the correct hours are listed on the Cold Stone website when you look up the location, though I almost missed the hours entirely even when looking for them (when viewing on a laptop). read more

The ice cream is great but the service is TERRIBLE!! Today, like many other days, they were terribly understaffed. They had two people working and we waited in line for an HOUR! Instead of helping an entire family, to get them through the line, one employee get the ice cream for a group, so the other employee can help people waiting in line BEHIND them. So this way, people who waited less time can get through the line faster than those who have waited longer. The employees they had working today were VERY slow. read more

I came to this location a few months ago, and somebody walked in with a dog. I know that it is a health code violation to bring an animal into a place that serves food, so I informed the cashier about it. She acted as if she did not know what to do, and said nothing to the other customer. I even followed up with the corporate office, who never responded to my complaint. Coldstone creamery has great options when it comes to the flavors of their ice cream, and what makes their ice cream stand out is how rich and flavorful their ice cream is. Other ice cream places serve icey, bland ice cream that tastes extremely generic. But not coldstone creamery!! One feature I love on my ice cream is toppings, and even their toppings are great, and compliments the ice cream. I always get the birthday cake ice cream with brownie chunks on a chocolate dipped waffle cone with sprinkles when I go. Coldstone's waffle cones are just a awesome as their ice cream. Yummmmm!!! But I just wish Coldstone had an actual patio or somewhere outside to sit and relax on. Because every time I go inside it's freezing cold in the shop!!!! I had a dream the other night that I went here and got my usual (coffee ice cream, choco chip cookie dough, roasted almonds, fudge, whip). I know it was a dream cause I haven't been able to get my usual in months. Every time I go in they are out of stock of something. i.e. half the mix-ins/flavors that they offer. Also not a fan of the chocolate chip cookie dough bites. Much preferred the actual cookie dough. Too bad cause no other ice cream place in the area compares...or used to compare. But when it's Friday night and there's a line out the door, you don't have one person dedicated to making waffle cones that no one is ordering. Terrible customer service every time we visit. Dirty nasty floors! Nasty tables, yet everyone behind the counter huddles and talks!

We came in about a 10 minutes before they closed (on 3/18/16) and the experience was wonderful! We waited for a while in line, but when we got to the front the four girls (that had been constantly working since we got there) were still very happy and willing to help us even though it was after closing by the time we got to the front. The ice cream was amazing and even though they were out of some things they made due (subbing a crunched up waffle cone for a bowl). These ladies made the experience truly joyful and we we will definitely be back! read more
