Service is exceptionally slow. After taking my order, about 29 minutes later a car hop came out to confirm my order and apologies for giving the my order to another customer Come on, I ordered a cheeseburger with a shake. How can they screw that up. The drive in was not busy. There were 14-20 cars waiting for car hops. My no means were they busy. The shanks was to their normal standard. Thick flavorful with whipped cream on top The burger was made dress and arrived several minutes later. It had a fresh bun, hot patty and enough veggies and toppings. Unfortunately, no one apologies for the mix up and delay. Decent food, worthy of higher stars. 8pm on a Saturday, 1 car in line ahead of us. 2 cars in the parking spots. Husband and I ordered a slushy and a blast. We waited 20 minutes behind 1 car in the drive thru only to have both our orders completely wrong and to be told in order to order a Diet Coke I would need to leave and get back in line since there were "so many cars behind me" (two cars). I have worked in restaurants for 12 years, and have ran drive thrus as well. I have never experienced this quality of service at a non-peak time in my life. Immediately got back into one of the parked spots to bring up the mistake and took another 10 minutes for anyone to answer our call button. read more

i'm sorry, i hate giving bad reviews but this was horrible. i ordered 2 shakes through doordash, one was cookie dough and the other was chocolate chunk. i added extra toppings to both (aka extra money) including hot fudge, banana, and m&ms. didnt get any banana, order took 20 minutes longer than expected, and honestly didn't taste that great. i don't get sonic very often, but i definitely don't remember it being this bad. read more

Updated review! Needed to use the restroom before ordering- dodged a bullet for sure. Restroom was extremely dirty. Skipped dinner and just ordered two slushy drinks and left. Too bad the place has gone down hill. Did have a nice server bring our drinks. read more

Not sure who thought putting a chili cheese dog in a plastic bag was a good idea. We ordered via the app. In the app I requested a drink carrier because our order had four drinks. Carhop brought out the drinks with no drink carrier. I mentioned I needed a drink holder. The carhop said I know it's inside Ill bring it out next trip. Why wouldn't you bring the drinks in the drink carrier? Two of those drinks were slushies they were half melted. I know I ordered via the app, but why wouldn't you wait to make the drinks until I arrived. One of the other drinks was the Unicorn Dreams Slush. It arrived without a Unicorn Horn Straw. I asked about the straw. The carhop said the Slush has never came with a special straw and only has ever came with the regular straw. I found out later the straw was "While supplies last". 3 of our 5 blizzards had things in them that weren't supposed to be. There was peanut butter in some that weren't supposed to have any peanut butter, for example our oreo blast. Luckily, none of us are allergic to peanut butter but if we were that would be extremely unsafe. read more

Visited this store again on 27th street Lincoln, Nebraska. Once again all i ordered was two footlong Coney Dogs. Ordered at the speaker waited an excessive amount of time, paid the guy and even gave him a tip. Drove home to eat opened the food to eat my supper and the hotdogs were literally burnt to a crisp. It was to late to return as it was 2145 hours on a Friday night and they would be closed by the time i got back there. Needless to say this food went in the trash and not my stomach. I will be contacting the state attorney generals consumer complaint department Monday with the photos i took. I also plan to send the images and call the Nebraska Department of Agriculture with my continued problems at this establishment. Burning food to a crisp and knowingly serving it to a consumer is a violation of The Nebraska State Food Code. In the past i have had to pick foreign food matter out of the coney dogs, cross contamination with other food products is also a violation of state food code. It is a clear indication that the food preperation area is not being properly cleaned and maintained. This establishment clearly has a management problem not just a bad employee problem. Unless your looking for a case of food poisoning i would avoid this store at least until they have a state health inspection and start obeying state food statutes and guidelines as defined in the law. There is absolutely NO excuse for this food being given to a consumer, NONE. If they think they have a legitimate excuse for it, then they can give it to the health inspector when he/she pays them a visit. I have also decided i am going to carry a camera with me everyplace i do business from now on. Any place of business that provides less than what the customer is paying for will be recorded and posted all over the internet. Im no longer going to ignore this second rate type of service. Took forever and messed the whole order up. The employees are lazy. I would not recommend going to this sonic locatio.

This location went through a much needed facelift here recently and it looks so much cleaner. Grounds are also better maintained. Staff was friendly and took our order efficiently and got it out to is quickly. Took only 5 minutes from placing to receiving. Nico our car hop was super nice and made sure we had everything which was awesome since we were getting on the road. Croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon was great and not overly greasy. Overall very happy with this locations service and quality. read more

This Sonic was sort of a disappointment. We didn't get our food for at least 30 minutes, despite the fact that the place was dead, and the lady who took our order was not pleasant to talk to at all! She was quite rude and we had a perfectly reasonable order. read more

My toast for the bacon cheeseburger toaster was close to being burnt and the burger wasnt seasoned at all. Instead of a large fries they gave me a small, it was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out and just reheated. Waited for awhile for my food and customer service could be better. DON'T, order food delivered from this location. They send out old food, not fresh and many times not the size you ordered, it will be smaller. This order tasted really bad. The burger and tots were both old. I'm a huge fan of Sonic, but this location should have a new manager. read more

I ordered 2 Jr deluxe burgers without cheese. When I got them, 15 min later, they had cheese. I asked about it and was told "they come with cheese". I asked why they didn't just tell me that when I ordered. THEN they asked about replacing them. If they can replace without cheese, why couldn't they give me that to begin with? We had to wait over half an hour to get our order which consisted of one hotdog and a drink. Their excuse was they were busy. The most cars there were 6 at any given point. I stopped with my son to get an oreo shake. The kid that gave me my order was being sarcastic when i ordered. The shakes tasted like they put butter or grease in the cup before the ice cream. I returned 5 minutes later and my shakes were replaced by a different employee who apologized. My second shakes tasted great so i know it was not the ice cream machine malfunctioning. I called the location to speak with the manager when i was told they dont keep butter by the ice cream. 5 star service, the new management really changed, especially Nathan, he is courteous and very polite, plenty of parking and stalls to order, there is even a dinning room for walk ins orders. Clean restrooms. French fries are excellent, but burgers not so good read more

Felicia was not very kind to my group when we came through. I forgot my card at home, my friend went to cover it and she came back to say the other order was declined. Instead of kindly taking care of it like most places would, she made us go to the ATM nearby to get money to pay for ice cream and 1 pretzel after telling us to give the food back until we could pay. Horrible! It is literally impossible to get your order in under 30 minutes, even if they are not busy. More often than not, other people get their food before those first, and we only ordered a value meal, nothing crazy. Our server was friendly and courteous . We where in at around 6 so it was the dinner rush and our two meals took about 10 mins from order to served. Once we received are order we noticed they had made a mistake by adding mayo to a burger when we requested no mayo. The mistake was quickly fixed and they redeemed themselves by throwing in an order of mozzarella sticks and a discount card for our next visit. They did a great job and the food was tasty!! 4 stars just because they messed it up the first time but they did a great job fixing it quickly. Thank you. read more
