Stopped for a Happy Hour pineapple slush. Half price at the time. They have a drive-thru. Going to try a Strawberry Slush next time.

Quote of the meal, "I might have diarrhea all day tomorrow, but it was worth it!" That's because she is lactose intolerant and couldn't stop herself from not only ordering, but then polishing off a small DQ blizzard. She looked like a kid sitting at the table and kicking her feet with glee as she ate her blizzard while replaying the dinner sounds from What About Bob. We both had the taco's, my wife's favorite DQ item for 20+ years and running. The only negative is it's worn out from years of use and the men's room hasn't been cleaned since Jimmy Carter was president. All in all, we loved our dinner and the gals working behind the counter were an absolute delight!

We stopped on our way from Angel Fire, NM to Dallas, ordering $30+ in food. No substitutions...wanted to upgrade from the kid meal dessert offerings to a blizzard. Happy to pay the difference, but not an option. Then, we wanted water...25 cents for a small cup and 50 cents for a medium. Have not come across this in Dallas and seems very cheap, To top it off, my mini blizzard was delivered to the table melted. I took it back to the counter and told her that I was used to blizzards being turned upside down when delivered (blizzard fans know what I mean) and this one would fall out of its cup. She apologized and brought a replacement up the table. When I put my spoon in, I hit a large, hard mass...turns out it was a blob of hardened chocolate...bigger than my spoon...just smaller than a golf ball...in a mini!?! Would have cracked a tooth if I had bit into it! Needless to say, next year we will NOT be stopping here. Thankfully, we have countless good DQ experiences and won't hold it against the other locations.

As…read moresomeone who appreciates attention to detail, I was thoroughly impressed by how pristine the entire establishment is--everything from the dining area to the restrooms is maintained to an incredibly high standard. Beyond the cleanliness, the atmosphere is warm and exceptionally welcoming. The staff is genuinely friendly, and the owners go out of their way to ensure every guest feels truly taken care of. It is rare to find a place that balances such professional upkeep with a personal, "home-away-from-home" feel. Highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for a quality experience. The food is great. The plates are small ( which is fine ) but it would have been nice to have a bit of room to cut up my food , and I'd add a second side to anything that's not a sandwich, but even with just one side ( steaks get two ) you don't leave hungry. ( extra sides are 4 a piece) The only other suggestion is a basket of homemade bread would be perfect for this establishment . It's a southern food , steaks and gravy type place. A basket of bread would make it perfect . Great place though . We would go out of our way to stop again.

I wasn't very hungry but needed some of those bull beans with sour dough bread. My husband ordered a 8oz filet and those yummy loaded mashed potatoes . I seriously should have taken some beans to go for my dad to try. We love the atmosphere and smiling faces. They were busy and rightfully so! Next time, I plan on trying those fried pork chops!!

Honestly, I'm new to Texas so I had never been to one of these locations and I feel that the ice cream is probably some of the best that I've had in a long time. My favorite is the banana split. They are very generous with their portions here and their prices are extremely reasonable. I actually pick up groceries from time to time when they have their milk on sale 2 gallons for six dollars. I don't know what it is about their milk, but it is truly unique and taste wonderful. I can pick up stuff for salad fixings or if I happen to need to pick up stuff for sandwiches for work I can just pop right in. Everyone always has a smile on their face here the store is immaculate and hardly anything is ever out of stock except for bananas. They have great prices on bananas and plus they probably sell a ton of banana splits!
