I have been super impressed with the increased service and food freshness here over my last few visits since the new year. An alright experience with good enough food for fast food. Their pretzel was surprisingly good, but you have to order cheese separately. I wish they'd mention that somewhere. When I tried to order cheese, it was a whole ordeal. "A side of cheese please." What? "The signature cheese sauce" They proceed to put chili cheese tots on the order instead. "No, I just want cheese." They do have cheese on them. "No, I don't want tots, just cheese." They then proceed to take off the chili cheese tots and replace it with plain tots. "No, I don't want tots." Then what do you want? "Just the cup of cheese." I hear the click off of the speaker and a new person comes back and asks me to repeat myself. "The cheese sauce. Like for dipping." Just cheese? "Yes" They finally get it right. Another customer nearby overheard and commented on having similar trouble. I get the initial mistake, but it got so ridiculous. The problem is that the entire store is run by teens which wouldn't inherently be a problem per say IF they cared at all about the job but 70% of this staff hates this place (cant blame them really) so youll be waiting for your food for a long time and if you go to any of the stations and not the drive thru just know you will not get a response or your order and youll have to buzz in to ask where your stuff is, only to be told you need to come through the drive through. It's a pretty typical Sonic. Although the parking slots are fewer than some other locations. It's in a small parking lot, share with a coffee shop and a car wash. It can get pretty busy. It's kept pretty clean and looks nice though. It's usually about a 10 minute wait when I use the app to pre-order. I've only gone through the drive through once. I usually try to use a stall. The staff is all friendly. My real problem is that I don't get what I ordered a lot. I've gotten the pretzel, which automatically comes with cheese, about ten times and they have never once given me the cheese. I always have to ask them for it. They bring it, but sometimes it takes them 10 minutes just to bring it. Firs time here. Not overly busy. I ordered off the app and went to a stall. Double Sonic Deluxe add bacon and a mango peach flush. 5-6min and food was brought to me by Isaiah. Asked if there is anything I needed was pleasant and I was happy he asked even though I didn't need anything. Burger was barely warm and the bacon was bacon bits not your strips of bacon. Cheese barely melting. Slush was delicious. Parking lot was dirty. Thrown trash all over. Waste bins FULL may have never been changed today. The area is a bit rough so watch your surroundings I saw a Fight break out in the parking lot. More of threats and yelling than physical. Will I be back? I always think of Napoleon Dynamite when I go to sonic because of the tater tots... lol Anyways, I have gone to this location over 10 times in the past couple of months.(I live right by it) 75% of the time, the fries or tots are not fresh and the burger is not that good. I have had onions when I ask for none. And one time they forgot tomatoes. There have been times when it was really good! Like 5 stars. But then other times it is wrong or not hot just warm. It is a quality control issue. Seems that some of the employees here care, and some don't. Your experience depends on the shift. Missing 60% of my order. First things I noted were that the car ahead of me took a long while to get their order especially in relation to how much was handed out the window to them. Okay fine maybe they're short staffed. Then I pull up to pay and everything and as I'm paying, there are two teenage boys in the back corner giggling and looking at their phone, and they both are trying to get someone else to come look at whatever was so funny. My first thought is that maybe those 2-3 employees on their phone was why the car ahead took so long to get their order. Then when im handed my order (didn't take too long) im handed the drink and ice cream thing i ordered, and the kids meal i ordered. Okay; 3/3 great! Well im on the freeway by the time I start to notice that im missing things i paid for. 1) the ice cream thing is missing one of the ingredients i paid to add, and upon eating what i was given, the Oreos taste like they've been sitting, getting stale for a very long time-as if not properly rotated. 2) the kids meal is missing the drink (milk, which I just had assumed was in the bag) 3) the kids meal is missing the side (apple sauce, which I also assumed was in the bag. Only thing I received of the kids meal was the grilled cheese and a toy, thank heavens because my son's third favorite thing to eat, next to apple sauce and milk, is plastic It also-at the very quick glance I got- looked very grimy inside. The reviews don't surprise me, our family came here today for a Father's Day lunch, and we pulled into the carhop drive in, and they said that they weren't doing the carhop, only drive thru. But they were bringing food for certain people in the carhop spots, so we were confused why we couldn't get served. Took a long time in the drive thru to get our food. We went here two days ago because we had someone who had never been. Good drinks, and everyone was happy with their food. I had the chicken tenders which were over cooked. I was so excited to hear that there was a sonic near by, but unfortunately that excitement was short lived. I came with my friend and her two daughters and we used online ordering. The customer service was very slow, but we were patient with everything. My friend got her order and it wasn't complete with her 5 piece chicken tenders or the 3 sauces she ordered. She then pressed the button and let them know, in which they began telling her that they don't give free sauces. My friend then attempted to explain she ordered the tenders and ordered the sauces. They then said her tenders will be out. After waiting again, one of the girls hands the bag to my friend, smirks at her, and walks off. My friend looks in the bag and only 2/3 sauces are there. She then pushes the button and tells them again (and of course she was frustrated at the point). The person working the intercom (assuming the manager), then abruptly tells my friend she's being "disrespectful" and she wouldn't serve her (she was not being disrespectful). I then took the receipt and walked up to the walk up and asked for the manager. The manager then comes to the door and abruptly tells me she is refunding me and I need to leave the premises without even letting me show her the receipt. I asked for her name and she wouldn't give it to me... I then ask for her general manager and she wouldn't share that and then walked in. I then opened the door and told her I had the receipt. She said I was disrespectful, and I told her I wasn't. She then continued this horrible costumer service in front of her entire crew. I ended leaving without any resolution, or a complete order. I work in management, and I train young people specifically in customer service... I am absolutely shocked. I will never come to this store again. Sonic headquarters... pull the footage 8/19/24 from about 6 to around 7:30pm... we were stall #5. Pull the camera footage from the interaction at the front of the store. What this tells me is there is poor management and training happening. Everyone working was younger, and the manager doesn't seem equipped for her responsibilities of running things, being accurate, giving good customer service, and being a good leader to her team. Sonic is one of my favorite fast food establishments, but this is the worst Sonic I've ever visited by far. I don't know why I keep going back. I guess I just keep hoping they will correct their course. But no more. I've been burned too many times. The madness has to stop. It's a brand new location, too. Been this way since day 1. Which means the problems aren't likely going away anytime soon. Disappointing. Service is extremely slow, orders are more often wrong than right, and food/beverage quality is always a roll of the die (except your d6 has five faces with a 1 and one face with a 2. [Insert Price is Right horn sound here.]) Owners: Do Snohomish County a favor and take your managers on a road trip to Post Falls, ID to see how a good Sonic should be run. The new Everett Dick's cannot open fast enough. I anticipate it will be the death of this Sonic. Somehow as much as I hate their lack of decent service, I keep coming back here. I was craving a milkshake and I took advantage of their $1.99 small popcorn chicken offer. Chicken was okay as was the shake, but I really don't understand why the staff is so clueless when it comes to bringing orders out to the cars. What is the point of entering the stall number into the ap when the carhop comes out and looks so clueless as to what order is supposed to go to what car? I don't know their system from the inside, but really they need to fix it. This location has been open long enough that this shouldn't be a problem anymore. I get that there are new employees but really? I almost went off on the guy who came over last night and asked if I'd ordered a bag of ice. Really slow service and workers are rude. They need more employees because they only have one person working stalls.

Food and drinks are good, but service is slow. Stall service is typically served last even after ordering before the drive thru customers. Average wait time is 20-30 mins after making an order at a stall when drive thru only waits 5-10 mins. This happened on several occasions and the reason why I have to give only 2 stars here. I still plan to come back, but have to warn others and hope the franchise owner can do something about it read more

I'd leave zero stars if you could. What a horrible experience. It opened over a year ago and tonight was the first time after multiple tries that I could actually place an order. I was helped by a guy who was WAY TOO cool and too bored to be working fast food. It took a very long time to get my "fast food" order. I even turned off my car it took so long. I ordered #3 cheeseburger and a small order of onion rings. All I can say is "don't ever bother". The hamburger tasted like - well nothing. No beef flavor, not much sauce (maybe a 1/2 teaspoon each of mayo and ketchup) and it was soggy and cold. Not "cooled off" !COLD!. I live 1/2 mile away so expected it to be at least warm when I got home. But then there were the onion rings. Oh my! All of the very small 6 of them were a close relative on the evolutionary scale to fossilized twigs. They were way over cooked and I biting them they were so hard. I fed all but 2 to my dogs - they like everything. My advice is to drive down the road a bit to Jack-in-the-Box, Arby's, Nick's Jr (the BEST in Everett by the way) and forget this place. They are even worse than McDonalds and that is a hard failure to beat. I'll never go back. read more

horrible experience pulled in at 10:00 didnt leave until 10:52. i have been to this location one other time and it was bad, but not this bad. pulled into a stall, sat there for 18 minutes before eventually being told that "stalls are closed drive thru open". i went into the dt to pick up my mobile and i sat in line for 30 minutes!! food was cold and was told they didnt have the ingredients to make my drink. after i requested a refund they ran around like chickens with their heads cut off, before one girl decided to pull out the syrup to show the bottle was half full and they "might have enough" for my drink. not to mention that when i pulled up i could see 4 people just STANDING there through the window. i get having bad/slow days, i work in food service, but this was horrible and they all were on their phones instead of getting through the massive line outside read more
