Sonic has really gone downhill. We hadn't ordered from there in a while because the app was also the only way to get any of the deals we wanted, but it was always broken, so we would just skip it. Now I am glad we did. Picked some up in Brigham today for something different, and the food is so disappointing. The Jr burgers should be called toddler burgers because they are teeny tiny. Smallest Jr size of any restaurant I have ever been to. They forgot part of our order which sucks since we don't live close enough to run back and pick it up. And the chicken tenders are practically paper thin and tiny with much more breading than meat. They literally look like squished nuggets, and look pathetically comical compared to the pictures on the menu. The drinks are smaller than I remember, too, and the rainbow slush has a very odd aftertaste (almost moldy). I couldn't finish mine. NOT worth the cost. We won't ever go back. read more

I love Sonic but the cashier's attitude at this location made us cancel our order!! Sonic is known for making slushes out of any drinks or flavor, but according to the cashier and the manager it's not possible to make a coke zero slush in UT (although my diabetic husband has ordered it multiple times)! Also not okay to alter a meal - never heard of this! And to act like you can't hear a customer is just wild! Won't be coming back!! The worst food and customer service I have ever experienced at Sonic. If you don't like your job, work somewhere else. I shouldn't expect much when going to Sonic, but this was the Worst of Worst, the general manager refused to give us her name, told the car next to us "thanks for being a jerk" and refused to refund him for his melted Sonic blast, my order was incomplete, once I got it, it was so bad I wouldn't even feed it to my dog. Was in the drive-through for 20 minutes for three drinks, I noticed that when the cashier went to go make the drinks while out the window, he wiped his nose, grabbed the cup and scooped straight out of the ice bin without a scoop That is a health safety hazard. There is also no lights on the menu, giving the appearance that the store is closed. This is not our first issue with this location for wait times. Clearly did not learn our lesson! Just ordered 2 drinks ... waited over 40 minutes in the mobile ordering pick up spot #4 - then went to the drive thru - were told we didn't check in ... sure did we ordered from that same spot and immediately checked in! Brought out the drinks which seem like they were made 40 minutes ago ... from previous mobile ordering at other locations, they don't start your order until you are there and checked in so it is fresh! The worst experience I've ever had at any fast food place. Ordered a dirty Diet Coke that wasn't made 'dirty'. Went back to have it made correctly. The manager argued with me about what was wrong and removed the lid of my drink to inspect (which was still very full). When I decided to not engage with her and take my drink back she wouldn't let me have the drink back. I was not going to play tug of war with an adult woman at the drive thru so I drove off without the drink I paid for. I will never support this business at any location in the future. read more

Waited for 20 mins to order, the lady immediately said "we've been slammed with doordash and online orders, so there's a 20-30 minute wait" so I said okay and after a bit she asked what we wanted, after ordering the first item, she said "ok anything else?" in a rude tone and when I ordered something else she said that the computer wasn't allowing any more orders. So I asked what I should do about that and she said we could come back in like 20 minutes to see if we could order? I asked couldn't I just wait at the board until they could take my order and she said "if you want to" . So we waited for a while before we left, then we went around to leave we could see at least 7-10 workers standing around watching us leave. Customer service was terrible. You can stop online orders from coming through if it gets too busy. Mind you there were only two people at the window and one group of kids at a table outside. In conclusion, the 25 minute drive was a waste of time and I will not be coming back. I just hope the manager/owner will take this into consideration and help better the staff/overflow/whatever is happening there. read more

Only ordered a hot dog and tater tot's waited for twenty minutes then had to call the employees to ask when my order was coming. I know for a fact that they just completely forgot my order. Waited another ten fifteen minutes. After thirty to thirty five minutes they finally brought me my small order. Terrible service and do not consider going to Sonic ever again. read more

Had an online order and it did not come out so we rang the red button and they had our order sitting on the counter so they brought it out and it was cold and the meat was hard in my breakfast sandwich. They did not read that we did not want cheese in them and they put it in anyway. Poorly managed business with people who just don't care. Wish I could give this no stars. Extremely disappointing service. Multiple drive in lanes were out of order and the place was very beat up. We pulled into two different stalls that were out of order before deciding to go through the drive through instead. Ordered a Chili Cheese Coney purely for the chili on top. A few minutes after we paid, the worker told us they were out of chili. No sweat, I understand that someone inside hadn't communicated that to the order taker. They offered to sub the item and gave no suggestions, and with no menu in front of us, we had no clue what was under that threshold. They gave us no room for anything of a slightly higher value. I'm talking nothing even ten cents more. We had already been waiting 10 minutes in line at the window so we decided to ask for "a few extra tater tots" and to just give us the dog with no chili just to get out of there and keep the line moving (reminder: we paid 10 minutes prior). They gave us a firm no, has to be either the dog without chili or a complete item sub. When the employee handed the food out the window, it was basically thrown into the car. The window opened and closed as quickly as I've ever seen. I didn't have a chance to interject with any additional questions or anything to work it all out with them. We would've been okay with 6 extra tots, but instead we left feeling treated like dirt. The quality of the chicken also seems to have gone down compared to ten years ago. Additionally, I woke up with a stomachache the next morning which I now see is a common theme for this location. It's no wonder Sonics have been closing lately. This is the 2nd sonic I've waited forever for my food at and got cold food. My fries were legit cold and my burger was basically room temp. I used to work at sonic, I know they take a long time but it was because they made their food fresh. There's no way this food was fresh. The drink was good. We ordered a small shake and 2 drinks. We were stuck in the drive thru for 20 minutes because they wouldn't have the giant van full of people pull into a stall. This location has always been pretty slow. We had two cars including the huge 16 passenger van in front of us and four cars behind us. One teenage girl worker stepped outside to vape. Another teenage boy worker left the property to go to the gas station next door for energy drinks and candy. You're that busy and letting your employees take breaks? Come on. You're running a business. When we finally got to the window, the cups were sticky and we weren't given straws or a spoon and so we had to knock on the window to get some. read more

I'm not often a big Sonic fan, but my son was really craving their blue slushee drink. Because, well, he's twelve. Not seeing anyone other fast food joints along this stretch of road, I gave it a shot. We did the drive-in so we could eat in our car. Service was quick and friendly. I ordered the chicken strips and was told that it would take about 5 minutes to cook them and asked if that was ok. The order was brought to us faster than that, so I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fine, our orders were both correct (which is not common at fast food places since we both have special requests). I wasn't a huge fan of my meal here. I ordered the 5 piece chicken tender meal, which came with 5 small chicken tenders (they were more the size of chicken nuggets), tater tots, 1 onion ring, and 2 pieces of "Texas toast", which was just toasted white bread doused with butter. I also had a peanut butter shake, which tasted good but was pretty melted/liquidy. I got here after 8:00 pm so naturally I wanted a half-price shake. While ordering, I was told I could "switch out" the drink in my meal for a half-price shake. In reality, I paid the same price I would have if I had gotten the drink AND the shake, so they didn't switch anything out, they just added the shake. That was a little deceptive - they should have just said you can't switch out the drink. Based on the previous reviews, I was expecting a long wait for my food, but it only took about 10 minutes from the time of ordering for the food to come out. Worst experience! Don't go there. Crappy staff, crappy service and COLD food. Asked if they could remake it and the manager said no. Asked if we could get a refund, manager said no. Told her our food was cold after we sat in line for 15 minutes before they took our order, 20 minutes at the window before they acknowledged we were there. She said "what do you want me to do about it?" The young kid that was at the window apologized over and over for what happened and provided the store managers number because the shift manager refused to do so. He will likely lose his job for trying to do the right thing! Called the dryer manager and he continued to state that they were short staffed. That's not our problem. I went to this Sonic because I wanted to see what all the hype was about when it came to their lemonade layered drink thingy mabob. It is a layer of some kind of lemon puree, strawberries and ice cream. That is all I ordered at this location. I am in line for what seems like forever and I notice that the people in front aren't getting treated the best by this drive thru girl...but I thought maybe they were being rude to her? I was really trying to give Sonic the benefit of the doubt. However, I rolled up to the window and the girl didn't give me a "hi" or anything. She threw my card back at me and then spilled my drink all over my hand in the process of also trying to throw it at me. I have always loved sonic food. It's nothing special but we like it. We mainly go for burgers and slushees. Today I went and ordered strawberry slushees. The person on the drive through asked me to repeat it three times. The second and third I said very slowly. She replied what? "What are you talking about." Seriously? What am I talking about?
