I went to Coldstone today to pick up my own birthday cake my wife ordered 2 days ago. When I arrived, the workers proceeded to tell me that there was no cake and they had no record of my order. Even though I had a receipt and confirmation email that I showed them. The workers didn't really say much and were not very helpful, so I had to come up with the solution of just taking a premade cake from the freezer. I'm not really sure why my custom cake didn't get made but I was sad. I was very excited with the custom options I had chosen, so I was still a bit disappointed. The service here was terrible. This is the first and last time that I am ever coming here took them about 10 minutes to notice that I was right behind them waiting to order and they just kept talking to each other and then they turned around once and then turned around again and kept talking like if nobody was there. but as soon customers were showing up after they got done helping me out they were right to the service and then when they were getting ready to give me my ice cream, they left all the cups a mess I had to wipe them off I mean, I'm no expert, but I can serve a pretty clean cup of ice cream if you ask me. read more

Placed an online order more than 24 hours in advance for a cake and an ice cream kit. Went with my daughter to pick it up. Went to the area where the signs showed to go for the online pickup. Employee Maddie looked up at us but didn't speak to us. She was busy making an order so we waited. Another employee was also making orders. It seemed busy but we waited for our turn. Another customer came in for the online pick up and stood to the right of me. He was acknowledged by Maddie and helped. However we still were not. After many customers were helped my daughter went to the end of the line to ask if we could get our order. The employee told her to wait because they were busy helping other customers. He came over after some time and gave us the cake. I then asked about the ice cream kit and was told that he would make the kit. Maybe I misunderstood but I assume everything would be ready at 4:00pm. We waited while he made the kit with ice cream and toppings. We were there probably a half hour waiting. I would have left at that point but we'd already paid. The employee Maddie finally asked if we needed something else. I told her we were waiting on the other half of our online order. This was the only time she acknowledged us. I have ordered online in the past and never had any issues. Unfortunately I don't think I will come back after this experience. If there is an issue with customers going to the sign that says online order pick up, perhaps the employees could let the customer know they need to wait in the line. read more

My experience at the Logan, UT Cold Stone was completely horrible. No acknowledgment. No Smiles. The ice cream was done horribly. Not enough brownie. Not enough Carmel. They were out of butterfingers. There needs to be better training. Better management. Better customer service. Would never recommend this location. read more

It is the day after Christmas and our family (6 people) is out for Ice cream. We walk in and there are three employees running around super busy like. There were 4 people ahead of us and 3 door dashers waiting for orders. While waiting I saw 3 more DoorDash orders pop up and more people squeeze in the store behind us. I'll be honest... we did wait about 30 minutes to order. By the time we left it was a 45 minute by the time we walked out the door with our ice cream. That is a long time to wait for ice cream. We were totally fine with the wait because Elizabeth & Kylie were amazing! Both working super hard and focused on getting orders out as fast as they could. They were doing the best they could and that was enough for us. We were greeted with a smile by Elizabeth, despite the stressful situation and 10 plus customers watching them work. Certainly, they needed more help in the store, but they handled it like pros! As a business owner myself of a QSR franchise I understand how challenging it can be to find good people that are willing to work in stressful environments while providing good customer service! It was our first time there and we got in the line of 7 cars in front of us. I was impressed by the staff moving through each person as she walked and took everyone's order before they even got to the window. The sun was blazing hot but the waiter had a genuine smile and positive additive eager to take each person's order. My husband which never has much enthusiasm over anything took his first swig of the coconut mocha and actually said it was amazing! That in itself is pretty great! And the seating inside is uncomfortable, crowded into the people in line. BUT, how do I average my rating since I love the tasty truffles and caramel apples of the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory? My wife ordered a churro. Employee says it will take 5 minutes. 30 minutes later the crowd dies down and still no churro. We go up to the employee and say we can't wait any longer. The employee doesn't say a word and just has a perplexed look on his face. Yeah he totally forgot to cook them. He doesn't apologize but turns his back to look like he's gonna start making one. We walked out. We call the manager and he says sorry the employee forgot to cook them. This is definitely one of my go-to places for anything sweet!! They have the most delicious ice cream and toppings. Might I add that it's a huge variety too. Also their staff is super friendly, very patient, and polite. Plus they are attentive and there's quick service. Cold Stone might be known for their ice cream more than anything, but did you know that they sell ice cream cakes, smoothies, brownies, and they've had cake pops too! Not just that, but they always have something creative and definitely delicious for very special holidays. The entire place is always clean, along with their bathrooms. Although their line can get long, it always moves quickly. One thing that I forgot to mention is that they have a bunch of delicious signature combinations! Ice cream is good, but you really have to get one of their specialty combos to appreciate it. Without the "Mix-ins", it's just your almost average flavors. But their mixins make it worth while. Price is decent, and you can usually find good coupons online before going, such as a buy one get one free, or buy one get one half off. They need more indoor seating, or at least to move to a location where you can sit down and not have people bump into you who are standing in line. It can be too crowded in there some evenings, and that can be a turn off. read more

Cold stone has great ice cream. You can tell the air whipped is low. It has less of a groovy atmosphere than Charlie's. There is not enough seating. Feels crowded. No one ever buys their chocolates which makes you wonder how old their chocolates are...but if you want some good ice cream, this is a place to go. read more
