Went to get a small Oreo cheesecake shake, that is delicious. When "Whit," the car hop, brought the shake it was all in the crease of her breast. When asked why she had it so pushed up against her, she responded by raising her voicing and having an attitude. Since my husband was handling the transaction, I decided to walk away. I do not appreciate this terrible customer service. He explained to her that he didn't want whip cream and so she got him a new one without an attitude. It was appreciated that she could bring her attitude back down but she needs to have more professionalism in her place of work. As an LSU student, I've been here plenty. I've never had a bad experience. The order is always correct, the food is always good, the servers have always been polite, and I've never waited an unreasonably long time. I personally can't corroborate any of the other reviews on here. Maybe management changed since the last one. I don't know. I visited this location on 2/27 after running my route. I ordered 2 number 3 combos which comes with bacon and didn't receive any bacon. I also asked that my were fresh. Neither expectation was met. It's very disappointing when you spend $23 and can't receive what the heck you're asking for. Even my meat was burned lol. This is my absolute favorite Sonic in Baton Rouge (especially after gameday). My order has always been correct and the staff is very sweet and hardworking. They're usually always busy so orders may not come out super quickly, but that is just a small detail that I'm able to overlook. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and buffalo nuggets with a large order of tots and a large grape nerds slush; the wait wasn't too bad considering it was fairly busy when I got there. However, when I received my food I noticed first that the slush was the wrong size (a medium), I asked the car hop for my recipes and was completely ignored. After she walked away I checked my bag and saw that my tots were down sized to a small order. I'm not mad, but I did pay for a large slush and a large order of tots so I was disappointed to not get what I payed for, and even more disappointed that my car hop would ignore me when I tried to point out the mistake in my drink size and get a receipt. Today I decided I wanted some ice cream and went to sonic. I ordered a medium snickers blast and waited almost 15 minutes. When I got it, it was bright yellow and there were barely any toppings and there were no snickers bits mixed into the ice cream like there usually is. The ice cream had strange flakes (I'm guessing some kind of syrup or something?) in it that made it inedible. I had to throw it away because of the texture and odd color. I've been to sonic hundreds of times, this is my first and last time at this particular location. I was in a hurry this morning so I decided to swing through because there wasn't a single car there so I guess I expected quick service. I placed my order at 7:15, nothing special just a breakfast croissant and a dr. Pepper. After waiting for 10 minutes I was about to just leave without receiving my order because I had to go, but I had already swiped my card and paid. About 5 more minutes pass and the carhop comes out with my order and then proceeds to tell me that I still owe for the food, I explain that I already swiped my card and he says that it must've not gone through. I then give him my card and he casually walks inside and a few minutes later comes out and tells me it went through. Then to top it off he calls me ma'am. Just because he is confused about his sexuality does not give him the right to confuse mine. I will NEVER give this location business nor will I allow anyone I know to go there either. I have been to this sonic many times before and after pressing the button to order I usually get a 10-15 min response time just to order and another 10-15 mins to get my food. It is supposed to be a drive through with fast food. Always very busy because of the location, but clearly the business is understaffed. The owner should consider hiring more workers to compensate or shutting down because advertising as "fast food" when it takes 30 mins to get the food is a little absurd. read more

Worst Sonic I've ever been to. Service is ridiculous and always takes 30 min + to get a simple order taken care of. I could go watch all the Lord of Rings movies, get an oil change, make an identical sculpture of Michelangelo's David, and these workers still wouldn't have my order out by the time I get back. This has consistently been the worst fast food restaurant I've dealt with. They've taught me to never leave a sonic without checking my order first. One time I went and asked for the sonic cheeseburger with ketchup and no mustard, the guy said our burgers don't come with mustard, when I got home I had a burger with cheese pickles and mustard...I went back and told them the issue and they gave me a burger with everything on it including mustard! The employees are very friendly and sometimes bring your order wearing roller skates. This location has a double dtive thru, a few tables for walk up orders plus the usual multi drive up order spots. Even when they are not pacjed, its usually a 5 to 15 min wait. read more
