For catering, I was surprised at how many options there were! There was salads, sandwiches, vegetarian options and lots of sides and dessert options. Because I didn't know if the sandwiches would come with sauce on them, which I don't like, I opted for a Cesar salad with a brownie. During our meeting before lunch, Jason's Deli delivered our boxes and put our names on the boxes so you knew which one was yours. I really liked this inside of just categorizing by lunch type: sandwich, salad, soup. When I opened my box, my Cesar salad was there with a big cup of dressing on the side. There was also two slices of bread and my delicious brownie. The salad was delicious and so was the bread and brownie. If I'm ever needing to cater for something, I am definitely doing Jason's Deli!

The muffalata sandwich was average, you only get to choose from ham & salami or turkey. When ordering we got the quarter muffalata special, the guy made it sound like you had to choose between ham, salami or turkey. It tasted decent, but not the real deal. Currently they have French onion soup, delicious! It was full of onions. Would def get it again. The salad bar was constantly being refreshed with new food. $7.79 and you can get a "side salad". I was so filled from the salad I didn't even need the sandwich. For $20 you have 2 full meals. Can't beat that.

The only downside was the service. While super nice and friendly, our server forgot one entire entree and was slow to bring refills. He was apologetic and did everything to make up for the forgotten entree, and even took a drink off the bill that we didn't like. This bar/restaurant is on the pricier side so be prepared for that but the food was worth it.

It was also martini night and they were 8$ This place is located under the overpass on Perkins very ducked off I see how I missed it everytime. It's a very cozy vibe great for a date night or girls night out. We both order ribeye steaks and they were absolutely amazing. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. The asparagus could have been seasoned a bit more. The baked potato was also over baked and for some odd reason I didn't have bacon bits and my friend did. The gumbo was fantastic I wish I would've gotten a bigger bowl! The salad was simple yet delicious. It could've had more veggies and the cherry tomatoes could have been cut. I don't like having them roll everywhere trying to cut them on such a small plate. The drinks were amazing and don't owe me anything!

girls, if you're getting a chicken Caesar wrap, go to the Perkins location. Please. I've had a…read moresuper good one from the one on Perkins, and I thought this would be the same. Instead, the lettuce was literally COOKED like steaming hot and there was melty mozzarella cheese inside, which is odd because Caesar salads don't typically include mozzarella - just Parmesan. The tortilla didn't taste fresh, and i think they just took the whole wrap and pressed it flat in a panini press. The heat made the lettuce completely wilted, and this was the most disappointing chicken Caesar wrap I've ever experienced. There was also not enough chicken or fillings inside like overall it was a very small wrap for the price. The quality of their shredded chicken is great, but everything else was extremely subpar. After receiving mine with the mozzarella (lactose intolerant), I even decided to bite the bullet and order a second one (so I paid for two) and this time specified no cheese at all, and extra chicken. The second one STILL had cheese, and the same amount of chicken. The sweet potato fries were fine, and the build your own sandwich my boyfriend got was good. just don't do the wrap from here yall. Go to the Perkins location.

The place was clean and had ample space. We ordered at the register but once seated I noticed you can order at the table by scanning the q code. My daughter went with the grilled chicken Caesar wrap and I had the jalapeño turkey crunch. We had two drinks that came in huge cups. I had the pineapple upside lemonade and my daughter had the peach tea. They were both good but definitely sweet. Our food was pretty good. The Caesar wrap fell apart easily but the taste was there. The jalapeño turkey crunch was bigger than I thought. I was only able to eat half. It was tasty but there's another place in Baton Rouge that has one that tastes better. Overall, nice spot. I'll probably return to try additional items.

I was super excited for the return of McAllisters in Br. I was out near LSU today so I went to grab…read morean old favorite, the harvest chicken salad. It was a pretty awful experience. First, the store was dirty. Plates were piles up on numerous tables. The floors were sticky. Next, I ordered behind a group of three people. After they ordered, the employee walked off and I waited another five minutes or so to order. I had to repeat my order twice and correct the drink as she was pouring it. I stepped aside to wait. While waiting, a couple of kids walked in. They waited about 10 minutes without being acknowledged. They left and two employees who just needed to acknowledge their existence made some snarky comments for all to hear. While I was waiting, there was clearly a tussle in the kitchen with employees shouting at each other and one lovely f bomb dropped. Another employee mediated and calmed it down, but they all had attitude. The trio in front of me got their food after about 20 minutes of waiting. A door dasher came and waited a while during that time and got his order. Someone finally asked me what I was waiting on. I am pretty sure at that moment they just started to make it. Here is where the only star was earned - A very nice employee walked out with my food after another 10 minutes and apologized for the wait. She offered me a free item, but I just took a refill of my drink. She was friendly and acknowledged the fact I had been waiting for so long. (35 minutes for slathering chicken salad on a croissant) I walked out the door just in front of that trio who had finished their meals and I had just received mine. So I took my order home..... no side. The sandwich was correct, but they did not give me the entire order. That was disappointing. And I paid way too much for that sandwich. I won't go back. As much as I loved the restaurant and love the menu all these years, this location sours it. Someone in corporate needs to visit this location because it will not and should not make it.
