Always great food here. Our order was incorrect (burger toppings messed up). Joesph went above, and beyond, to correct them with a true concern for getting it right for u! read more

In every single experience I've ever had here, the employees are always extremely rude and snarky. Sometimes I go and they're only taking cash, other times I can't order anything with ice cream because they're "sanitizing the machine" and they never deliver those messages with kindness or any sense of feeling apologetic. They seem very mad at all times and it's really uncalled for. Management... please check your employees. It feels super weird as a customer, especially as someone who is always nice to customer service workers, to be met with such a terrible attitude right off the bat. read more

Well they said drive thru only, we went and no one took our order. If you're going to be open maybe try to actually sell your food.

Arrived at 1230pm. An hour and a half after opening time. And they said they are not open yet... change your hours or close down. What a waste of time. read more

Rude staff here. Multiple times I've been ignored at the drive through window. So i went to the stall. Only for the girl to yell over the speaker when i pressed the button " I AINT TAKING NO STALL ORDERS". This place used to be my go to for a quick burger, but I'll drive to Winder instead. read more

I usually wouldn't leave a review for fast food, often times it is what it is. But this location is on another level of god awful. Filthy, the whole place from road to roof is worn down, filthy and decrepit. Rude. The staff is just rude, clearly would rather be anywhere else. This location never had ice cream and recently out of corn dogs, that's like half the menu btw. Food. So what you can order, is soggy awful tasting hamburgers basically. There are no redeeming qualities at this fast food joint. It should be refurbished and restaffed or shut down before they kill somebody. read more

this location needs to be closed or given new management immediately. I waited 15 minutes for a drink offer for it to come out incorrectly. The time before that I went to this location I waited 10 minutes never had them answer my app, check-in, proceeded to go to the drive-through window to have nobody waiting on me, to then finally having to drive up to the actual window and ask for my order. do not waste your time here it's not worth it. read more

If I could give a negative I would rate it negative 5. Went there to get breakfast burritos about 3 weeks ago. It was 30 minutes past the time for their opening, they weren't open yet, they said they would be opening in about 15 minutes, so I waited, it took them 20 minutes. I ordered, took them another 20 minutes to make my order, they weren't open yet out of iced tea, so I ordered a cherry limeade and a strawberry limeade. Drove home, realized they gave me 2 strawberry limeades, checked the burritos, they gave me 2 regular breakfast burritos instead of the super sonic ones. Checked the ticket, I was charged for super sonic ones. Today my son went there, he purchased 4 footlongs, when we opened them, not only were they burnt beyond eating, they looked like the hotdogs had been cooked days ago, instead of being soft they snapped when you bent them, the chili was also burnt. I just don't understand how someone could even give them to someone in that condition. If you value your hard earned money don't go there read more

Sonic Drive-In - Chili Cheese Coney burnt - Burgers Near Me - Athens, Georgia

I've lived two minutes away from this Sonic for a little over two years now. Needless to say, I've eaten here A LOT. I've gone here so often for lunch, a quick snack, a quick route 44 drink, etc. Though I've probably been here dozens of times, I still recognize that there's much that needs to be improved here. This Sonic used to be reasonably quick to get you your food and it was right most of the time, but now it takes forever to get your food and it's rarely right. I'm moving now and in the past week prior to moving I've been to this Sonic three times. I'll summarize the current state of this Sonic by telling you of these three experiences. The first two orders I waited over 30 mins for my food, and the last one I got the complete wrong drink. If you're willing to sit through the wait times and risk getting a wrong order as I have, feel free to drop by. If you don't, I'd go elsewhere. read more

The rude staff at this restaurant is always closing early and turning the grill off far before 1am. You're open till 1 why are you shutting things off at 11:30 and telling customers they can't be served. read more

Sad to say that this place has gone downhill to the point that it just needs to close. There are only a few drive-in stalls left, and those direct you to use the drive thru. They are out of the most basic things, take forever to get your order ready, then generally get something wrong. The place is decrepit with wires hanging down in places. It looks like the end of the road. read more

Ordered on my online app. After waiting 15 min over my time, I opened the door and the lady rudely said you can't come inside. So showed her my order and she said I'm supposed to buzz in and let them know my stall number. I've never had to do that at any sonics but this one. After buzzing in waited another 20 min. However, the gentleman that served us our food was very friendly. Made up for it. read more

I am so sad that this Sonic has come to what it is now. This place used to be my favorite to eat at if the food was fresh, but now the service is unbearable! I have tried to order food multiple times over the course of the last few months, hoping each time that the service would be better. However, every time the service is rude and mean. This last time, a friend and I wanted a treat around 9pm, so we pulled into a stall. We pressed the button, and after waiting almost 5 minutes, a woman literally yelled through the screen in a condesending tone that they were drive thru only, slushys were watery, and they had no ice cream. AT 9PM! You cannot advertise being open late at night and be out lf half of your menu 3 hours before you close. The overall atmosphere is horrible too. Place looks so run down and they only have a couple stalls up and working, even though they always tell me they're drive thru only no matter the time of day. I'm not sure if this is a payment issue for the employees and they are not being paid enough or if they're just lazy, but something has gotta change or this location needs to be shut down. It is an embarrassment for the Sonic franchise and the community in general. read more

ZERO Stars! Really the one star was to open the window to give a review. I highly recommend that they go out of business for the good of the community. The service and food at the Winder, Georgia location was awful! Why are they still around? Never again! No more fast-food restaurants in my future! So not worth it!! Stay home and cook. read more

The worse! No wonder so many locations are closing. I sat at the at the window 24min to get my order. The lady never came to the window to greet or for me to pay until the food was ready. Only to be asked, "what was your order again?" SMH just close up. read more

We waited at the drive up menu and no one ever answered to take our order, so we drove through the drive through.. same thing. But we saw other ppl driving in and we thought wow they're getting their food fast. NO. we park to walk inside to see what's happening. Maybe short staff?? NO. 2 women with a man who was clearly not an employee were just lounging inside on their phones with another person parked with their vehicle off at the window. We asked if they were open , they said "yeah but everything's broke, pull back around to the window and we'll have that car move."We just left. Absolutely not. read more

I've tried to order milkshakes from this sonic 4 separate times in the last year, 1 in the drive thru, 1 on the app, and 2 on DoorDash and every. Single. Time. I have been told milkshakes are out. It's extremely inconvenient when I order on DoorDash something that they have available and then I get a message from the dasher saying you're out of milkshakes. You're open until 12am there's no reason I shouldn't be able to get a milkshake at 9 pm read more

The food was good but they forgot my sauce and gave me the wrong flavor shake. Service was fast.

It has been a week and I am still waiting for the manager to call sooooo....My daughter frequents the store in the evening and places an order via mobile app several times a week since she has a 30 minute meal break at a nearby business. She placed the order and 20 minutes later the 3 drinks were not brought out, but 2 cars had gone through the drive thru so she called me and I rushed to the store since she had to go back to work. She went to the drive thru while I pulled into the stall in her place. We saw the employee that was wearing a blue shirt and pregnant have the 3 drinks in her hand 2 different times and started toward the door, but never left the store with the drinks. As my daughter pulled into the drive thru the blue shirted pregnant employee came out so I pointed at the drive thru and told her that I switched because the order taking so long. My daughter asked the employee why the order took 20 minuets and the answer was that she was training 2 people. My daughter then said that she had seen 2 people go through the drive thru while waiting and turned to go back to her car. The blue shirted lady used a mean tone as she turned back to the store saying Have a nice day (the tone and words DIDNOT match) As my daughter was getting in her car a short heavy set black woman came out of the door and said, "I've got her tag number." My daughter asked me what she said so I repeated it and we both laughed. Her tag number REALLY? My daughter did NOTHING wrong and the order was on the APP....they have more than her tag number on the order. The employees were still in the store and responded with forced mimicking laughter. Hopefully they do not reflect the behavior expected from employees. Absolutely deplorable. The drinks were flat/watered down so we wound up throwing them away. Just proves even more that they were sitting on the counter without being delivered when she arrived. read more

We stopped here on our way home from the hospital. A car was blocking the drive thru exit. When we got our food we kindly asked the employee if the car in front of us could move. A black woman in a blue Sonic t-shirt jumped out of the car in house shoes and yelled for us to back up and go around. She then went inside the restaurant leaving her car. We asked for the managers name and she yelled Alexis. The car was a gray Kia sedan. She needs to be fired! Employees were hanging out at the car. The white girl wearing the headset walked out while we were waiting for our food to talk to the other employee who we think owns the car as she was sitting in the drivers seat. Completely unprofessional! read more

I'm sorry for visiting this location and inconveniencing the lady working around 11 PM on 6/8. Her time is way too valuable for me and my family. She was nice enough to make us wait several minutes at a stall before telling us that it was drive thru only. I also apologize because we didn't know that she doesn't serve ice cream at night like she rudely told us. She did get the last laugh as we nailed that massive pothole in their parking lot while leaving without any food at all. Alignments are around $175 which I will need now. Definitely won't return here. Hopefully Mrs Rudeass will not have her time wasted by pesky customers trying to purchase food. read more

Well, since I was headed in from an event, I saw a Sonics on the side of the road. I turned in, and ordered. 9 minutes later, I finally received my order. True, the service here is excruciatingly slow. Despite this, for the past two years I've gone to this location several times a week because it's near my job. Sometimes if I go in early and stay late, I'll be there multiple times. It's not a good habit to eat out so much so perhaps I should thank them from discouraging me from spending so much money--at least not at this establishment. The ppl know me because I'm there so often. I often get a water with my meal. I noted that once a few months ago, I asked for a water and got charged 30¢. I called the number on the ticket and complained and they assured me it wouldn't happen again. And it hadn't until today. I told the manager on duty (who was a younger guy with a mustache who I'd never seen before I think his name was Devin) that if I've ordered a meal for $7 why would I be made to pay an extra 30¢ for a cup of tap water? Not only was he insistent that it required a charge but he snipped "do you want the water or not?" Not only do I not want your water Devin, but I also don't want the attitude or any further food from this location. Hope the 30¢ was worth the loss of someone who regularly drops 100's of times that at your site per week. It's cool though, my wallet thanks you. And if I really need a fast food fix, there are literally about 30 other fast food places along Atlanta Highway. Not a smart move when there's so much competition around. Chick Fil A never cops an attitude with patrons and they're equidistant from my job. They'll get my business now. read more

Very slow service. Pushed the button to order 3 times. No one ever asked to take the order. Ended up going through the drive through only to find out that they were out of ice cream?!? Always slow, with subpar service. I've ordered in advance multiple times off the app, and still have to wait over 20 minutes for food. Yet customers who come after me get their food before me. The restaurant needs to train staff better or get new management read more

I literally just downloaded this app to leave this review. I work night shift in the ER and I stopped by here on my way home from work for some breakfast. I did a mobile order and soon after arriving, the manager came out (I hate that I missed her name but it was on August 21st, before 8AM) and informed me that they were having some electrical issues inside and that the wait might be a bit longer (which was totally fine to me since I was starving.) Any way, the electrical issues and other unforeseen circumstances continued to cause delay, but the manager came out and went way above and beyond to serve customers! She was personable, generous, and honestly just a breath of fresh air after leaving work! She truly valued customer service and I could not have been more impressed! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I received a molten fudge cake that it looked like yall made the day before and just put it in the freezer. Sonic Drive-In - What it SHOULD look like. Loganville Sonic is awesome! - Burgers Near Me - Athens, Georgia

With this review I had to remain civil. I was staying at the hotel behind Sonics so I just walked out to order from outside menu. This was a girl outside sitting at the table I guess taking breaks. I am not to familiar with Sonic so she told me to order from the outside menu. Looking at the menu I didn't see the food I wanted. I asked if they had the garlic butter burger, she said no. I asked what about the burger advertised in the commercial with bacon and that sweet sauce, she said yes so I ordered that and a jr burger and onion rings. I waited on the table outside. Ten minutes later a girl brought my order to me. I asked how much because I barely heard the total. I think she said 10.01 because she mumbled that. I gave her a ten dollar Sonic card with 2 dollars to add. I waited for her to let me know if everything was ok. She came back out 5 minutes later and went to another car to bring their food. I still waited if my order went through and the change. She came back out and walked right by me to another vehicle. I called out to her asked if I was done and if my card was ok. I wasn't sure if the gift card was good, I had it over a year. She never acknowledged that nor asked me if I wanted change. I don't mind tipping good service. I always do. There's a difference between tipping good service and someone taking you money and forgetting about you. This experience was terrible. They acted like they wasn't interested in you as a customer. I am in customer service and I know about making sure customers are taking care of. The level of concern and service was not in display last night. It was after 9pm on Wednesday April 7th. I will never return to this Sonics. The food was good but customer service took the taste out of my mouth. I rather go somewhere else other than this location because the level of service isn't worth it. Management needs to look into how business and services is conducted. read more

This location deserves 0 stars! Worst customer service and always out of something! I honestly have no idea how this place is still open. We stopped to eat a couple of days ago because we thought it would be quick- no...got our order wrong twice and it took almost an hour to get our food. Today, my daughter and I wanted to stop and get a blast- got to the drive-thru and she said "we can't do those right now" what does that even mean?! This is the second time this has happened. We will not be back! read more
