I enjoyed all the flavors that I tried they were soft and chewy but not too sweet my favorite was the oatmeal cookie tied with the traditional chocolate chunk. My least favorite was the double chocolate but it was still tasty. Only thing I would say is these cookies are on the pricey side for cookies were eight dollars and although they were very tasty they're not that large in size and if you go to publix you can get quality cookies in the bakery for less. I love the cookies, but EVER. SINGLE. TIME I come into this particular store location, (Athens, GA) the service is HORRIBLE! I know it's difficult to get regular employees right now, but I've been coming here since it's opened and the employees are idiots. No one ever seems to know what they're doing. And if you mention a special that you got an email for...crickets...deer in the headlights...total confusion. And the most popular flavors always seem to be "baking...it'll be 15 minutes". Poor service. We ordered online. Went to the store, waited in line behind people who were ordering in store. When our turn came after long wait, we were told that we have to wait and people who were behind us in the line were served. Only after insisting that we should be served first did we get our order. Agree that there was only one person serving at the store. That doesn't mean that you don't serve people who come first and cater to the people who came later. Similar poor customer experience when I visited the store last time. Please train your people to deliver great customer experience. I placed an order for my daughter and her friend for a specific time and they never showed up. First call was placed to customer service and I was told by the girl that she can see my order and it's on the way and will be there in just a few minutes. Usually if a place is DT, I say parking sucks. But this is Athens, let's be real. Park on campus and walk on over to the sweet Insomnia shop. That's what I always did when I was in Undergrad... I miss the easy walks too :( I came to Athens with my cousin to show her around and after walking around campus for like 4-5 hours we were starving. After our Cali n Tito dinner, we drove over to DT Athens. I parked behind the old Suno and walked over. NOTE: Parking behind the old Suno is recommended. Insomnia is also next to Masada, in case you can't find it!! Here's the kicker, I've had all kinds of ice cream sandwiches, but ..... this place had the best combo of ice cream and cookie. Nom. Cookies were super soft and the ice cream actually didn't feel as heavy like others! Yay! Didn't get cookies and milk ha - I will choose ice cream over milk any day. Service - it was pretty good. Can't really say much. Nice group they have there. I guess the only thing is - they do not really have tables, they have wall tables but awkwardly set up. Best bet: get your cookies and walk around DT/take it to go. My cousin and I were exhausted from walking around and just wanted to sit and talk.
