Okay, I don't typically leave reviews. I downloaded this app just to leave this review. I have never been to a fast food place where everyone was so prompt. We stopped pretty much in the dead of lunch, we were looking at the menu for quite a while mostly just talking and an employee came out even while super busy to ensure that we weren't having issues and to let us know that we could take our time and he was just checking on us to ensure we didn't need help. Our food was up very quickly, the lady that brought it out gave us a full run down of where everything was without looking because she already knew where she put it. I wish I could give negative stars for this epic failure of this location pretending to be a Sonic restaurant!! I ordered the steak and bacon burger with a small milkshake. Simple order right? Not only that it took 15 minutes and counting to make this advertised burger but it was cold, poorly put together, and it did not have all listed ingredients on the burger. Sonic Drive-In - Burgers Near Me - Albany, Georgia

Personally, the 1 star rating feels TOO high. I came through the drive through and asked for an ice cream, which considering the branding of Sonic, seemed logical. At the intercom I was told the ice cream machine was broken, I accepted this but couldn't leave the line, as I was blocked in. I followed the flow of the line seeing as I couldn't back out, and low and behold, I see someone get an ice cream! When I finally reached the window, I asked for my ice cream and was told the machine worked, but they couldn't take orders at the window. I Placed my order after repeating it over 3 times to the cashier, I began to wait for roughly about 12 minutes then he comes back to tell me they don't have anymore of what i ordered, so i replied ok let me getting chicken tenders instead, after 15minutes nothing. I saw others come in and go out, but no response to my order, i waited an additional 10minutes before leaving and nothing. Awful Service and didn't even care to make my money, and wasted over 40 minutes on a fast food restaurant?!?! ridiculous. read more

The first time I came here, there was a hair in what I was given, which wasn't even what I ordered. Really slow, bad service on top of that. Definitely not worth the time! The second visit was hair-free, but just as slow. read more

I wouldn't even give them a 1 star. I just moved here from California and wanted Sonic so bad. Went up to drive thru to order and the guy taking the order act like we were bothering him taking our order....NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS WHATSOEVER!! I'm sorry but since I've been in Albany I have YET TO FIND SOME serious Customer Service. When we got to pay for our food...he got our order all wrong and so I asked him "If he was having a bad day and remind you it's only 11am and does he not want to be here at work today??" His excuse was ....Oh ma'am we are just trying to get our orders out!" Sorry BUT NO EXCUSE!!! You are still suppose to provide your customers with a smile and welcoming attitude. The absolutely slowest Sonic I have ever been to. They are in NO HURRY even if all you ordered was a slushie.

You know honestly I speak for all other fast food restaurants in Albany when I write this that the workers don't care about their job and love to have an attitude, well news flash quit if you don't like it. This Sonic is so pathetic I have never seen such slow service, I could literally go to a sit down restaurant and eat twice and I would still be waiting in the line. I bought a $4 cheeseburger WITH "everything EXCEPT onions. No onions;" and of course, it was prepared with ONIONS. So I called Sonic to let them know - & Demetrius, the worker who answered the phone, asked several questions about it, then asked for the check number, looked up the order, then told me if I can bring the burger and the receipt back tonight, they can replace it. Two Problem: I was 25 miles and 2 counties away when I discovered the problem & it's Friday and a burger isn't worth all that. I told him I won't be returning to Albany until Monday. He said I have to bring the burger back in less than three days or he can't replace it. So I ask, Monday will be too late?, like WTF why the 3rd degree over a burger (which Sonic did not prepare as I ordered)? I wasn't clear if Monday was acceptable, bc he then says he i just telling me the policy. I am thinking, so I need to remember to take this stale-A burger to work with me (and since I arrive to work long before he or anyone else will arrive at Sonic), I must also remember to go by Sonic on Monday after work (which I will definitely forget to do, It's Sonic, not Outback. IF I remember to take the burger from my fridge, I will either leave it on the counter at home, leave it in the car (and stink it up with onions) or leave it in the work fridge (stinking it up with onion) ALL this bc I don't eat onions & told them I don't want them on a $4 burger! I told him I called to let them know about the error in the order. Forget replacing the burger. I am also realizing I recognize the voice and this same guy was the one who took my order and didn't enter the order correctly, so whoever threw it together, threw onion on it! Long story short after taking the bite of onion burger and calling Sonic who wanted ID and registration to handle their error, I just threw it in the trash. I could have saved time by just throwing the $4 in the trash, I would have still eaten left-overs instead of the burger, but I would have gotten home earlier. As for the bite I took, the burger had no flavor, none at all. Typical fast-food experience. Should have gone to Burger King. read more
