The Furniture Guys had EXACTLY what I wanted and the price was right. We purchased the sofa and are very, very happy with it. 6 months later and we need a new mattress and as we all know MATTRESS SHOPPING SUCKS! I made the typical rounds with the well known major bed retailers. I had two sales people literally follow me out of the store and I thought one guy was going to break out in tears when I left. It was awful. We found a memory foam with gel mattress at the Furniture Guys that we liked earlier in the day. We found others that we liked as well, however the price was usually more than double of what we liked at the Furniture Guys place. We went back, tired and hungry after making the rounds and tried the bed out again and decided to take it. This was on a Saturday afternoon and they said they could deliver it that day! I wasn't expecting anything before Monday so that was a bonus. The delivery guy didn't show up until 7:00pm that night but they did get the bed there. Sunday morning I wake up at 4:00am in back pain agony. I was convinced that I could not sleep on that bed and went back to the store to find out what my options would be. The receipt he gave me the day before was for someone else, so we got that switched out. George was very patient with me and listened to my concerns. He explained that going from a coil bed to memory foam will take some adjustment and the mattress will become less firm with use. He suggested that we give it a little time and if we were still unhappy he would make it right. I took him at his word and lo and behold slept like a baby the second night! However, in looking at my receipt after we got home, I noticed that I was overcharged by $53.00. I called George and he issued a credit right over the phone. I do believe it was just an honest mistake and he was quick to fix it. I totally recommend this place and I will return in the future for sure. Love the couch and the mattress. His prices are crazy good too!

We recently purchased a Casper Snow Max mattress from the Midtown Tampa Casper store, and after 3…read morenights realized we were having a weird problem where we felt like we were rolling to the center of the mattress. We called the store and described our problem, and manager Cassi immediately got Customer Service involved and said they wanted to replace the mattress. We were asked for pictures of the tags on the mattress, and when we removed all the bedding and moved the mattress aside to get the pictures, we saw that the movers who assembled our bed had not done so properly. We made several adjustments to the rails and center support, and our Snow Max mattress was now perfect on our frame. What we inadvertently found today was that Casper customer service is second to none. They were prepared to completely exchange this mattress when it seemed that something might have happened to it, even though neither the store manager or the customer service representative had ever seen this before. Their desire to do whatever it took to make us happy is truly legendary in not only the mattress world, but in the entire world we live in today. This is the second Casper mattress our family owns - and I can assure you that there will be more. Our Snow Max is a truly great mattress, backed up by exceptional support. Our experience in the store with salesperson Beatriz as well as manager Cassi was professional and low-pressure, and they were extremely knowledgeable in the products they sell as well as in their competitors' products. The store itself was lovely, comfortable, and very welcoming. We left feeling like not only had we purchased a great mattress, we had made some new friends in the deal.

Not calling him a salesperson because he was far more than that and never pressured me into anything; he gave me choices to try and that was the key. This store carried the brand and mattress I was initiallyU looking for. He helped fine tune my decision by educating me and allowing me to lay on different mattresses, firmness, pillowtops, etc. until I ended up changing my mind for the better. Some things you shouldn't buy without trying and to me mattresses are that kind of item. And with a Labor Day Sales discount I knew it was time to strike after much research via the Internet. But I would have made a mistake if I had just bought without a visit. This is a family run business and it has that level of charm and dedication that you don't get in chain furniture stores. That's what I failed to do with Premier Mattress direct in Palm Harbor, even though I really really tried. I won't buy a face cream without researching extensively peer reviewed scientific studies on the ingredients. I'm a data nerd - I use my science degree way more in my personal life than professional life. I didn't want to leave my house and drive 5 minutes to a brick and mortar store because my entire shopping history is internet except on vacation - and I work from home so need a good reason to leave. I couldn't sleep. I was exhausted and hurting from side sleeping in my forties on a bed that was too hard and too old and way to freaking hot while living in Florida. I realized that I needed a solution fast but got analysis paralysis online and feared I'd end up With another piece of crap off the app we all order from. My breaking point was coming home from an Airbnb vaca where i slept through the night...every night...for every day in the week for the first time in many many years. The worst part was that the Airbnb bed wasn't even that good and should have been replaced long ago. After getting home and starting the pattern of not sleeping again, I needed to do something different. I am in consultative sales which makes me the worst person to ever try to sell to because I see through it, I'm suspicious and a detective of manipulation and a "Karen" when I want to be. When a business does me dirty I perform what my family knows as my digital reign of terror - posting my opinion with proof everywhere if a business makes no attempt to resolve it. I went to Premier mattress direct with extensive knowledge and distrust of the mattress industry. I didn't care for the strip plaza it's located in but since there was one stellar breakfast spot I had been to that is always packed, I went in. No one tried to sell me anything. There is such a different feeling when a person is genuinely helpful versus a slimy lying sales rep. I ordered a very nice mattress and was educated on the benefits of hand tufted compared to bed in a box. There's pros and cons end really subjective to the individual. The next day I woke up and put on my fraud detection hat for work as I do every day and after seeing some old complaints across 6 BBB pages for the manufacturer (not for Premier mattress direct) then I second guessed my purchase. When I called to cancel, Dylan was nice and polite and said no problem without objection but invited me back to test alternatives because I really was losing it from lack of sleep. That night the part owner was there. He went above and beyond explaining his concern for how I felt and put me on the phone with the manufacturer who explained they they no longer had affiliates due to lack of quality control and that's why they only have one centralized headquarters now: he gave me his cell phone number as was displayed on the screen of the store owners cell phone I was talking on. He did this even after I told him about my reign of terror and that I had free legal services from my job. Then the part owner spent a lot of time showing me less expensive options and after two hours - my intuition and experience concluded that shockingly...these people were genuinely trying to just help me get a good nights sleep. I've never been more impressed or happier with a purchase and I'm the most skeptical person on earth that didn't want to believe good ethical business people still existed. I've never written such a long review but go ahead and walk inside premier mattress direct and tell me that you don't end up thinking that stores like this beating out big box stores wouldn't end up creating a better world for everyone.
