Unlike the other 3 stores, Jim was a guy that really cared what we would enjoy & not just trying to sell us on their "special of the day". Took the time, effort, expertise and wanted to know about us. No high pressure & when we indicated we wanted to think about it for a couple of days, unlike the other 3 sales people, he gave us his card & wished us big smiles every day. We then went to a different Mattress Warehouse & different it was....back to the high pressure & when the salesman realized we were not buying he excused himself & indicated he had other things to take care of. Returned to Dr J a couple of days later & still wanted to think about it & he did not change.....still the same guy, we first met.....no pressure & wanted us to find the mattress we would be happy with. Returned 3 days later.....purchased mattress........quick delivery & even a 120 trial period, just in case we were not satisified....... Wow, Dr J was the best!!! Thank you Mattress Warehouse for having a super guy that really cares about people that walk in. Could never have found this mattress w/o him. Big Stu

Kevin is a delightfully helpful young man, who seems to enjoy what he does. We spotted what we wanted, took a couple of days to think about it, and on Saturday, we made the decision to buy. Our choice was the Tempur-pedic Rhapsody with the ergo bottom that allows it to adjust (Yeah we're old, but I LOVE the idea that I'm sleeping on a giant purring cat!) and become even more comfortable. The head and feet both raise and it has a massage option that really does lull you to sleep. While the bed was expensive, the customer service we received was excellent. Delivery was scheduled for less than 24 hours after we purchased the bed. When we thought that the 2nd remote was missing, Kevin offered to come down himself and deliver one to us. All in all it was a wonderful transaction. If I ever need to buy another bed - and hopefully it will be a long time until I do, I would use the company again.

I have been working with Jim for years, and from the first time I met him, he has always been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all the products you offer. He provides great, straightforward advice and is very transparent and fair when it comes to pricing. Jim is the best in the business. Whenever I have a question or need anything, he is always quick to respond, whether it's help with warranty issues, quotes for appliances, or recommendations--be it via calls, emails, or texts. He consistently goes above and beyond expectations. I recommend him to all my clients in real estate. Most recently, he answered numerous questions and assisted me in purchasing the Café Series range of my dreams. He also helped me connect with Premier Installation, who provided exceptional customer service. When it turned out that my electrician had installed the wrong outlet, Charlie from Premier Services Installation came out on a Saturday morning, to change it for a reasonable fee--because Jim had asked if he could help me out so I wouldn't be without a stove over Labor Day weekend. I am so grateful to have met Jim and to have so many wonderful appliances from Famous thanks to him.

I had to address an ever growing list of closest friends that want to come visit in sunny Dunedin, FL. I started searching furniture stores and couldn't find the seaside/coastal living style I wanted. Then, at 2:00 in the morning, I saw a commercial for Matter Bros. specializing in the Florida style. I saw the Tarpon location and went for it. That was six months ago. I have my family room, guest room, living and dining room completed! I can say that my American Drew Antigua wall unit is not only fantastic but was custom ordered to my liking with a price that blew the competition out of the water. My new 55" HDTV is a perfect fit. I have a new unique palm tree based dining table with a Key West style sideboard and mirror that complements perfectly. I ordered the dining chairs in a glistening sand color to balance. I also found a coastal style cocktail table that accents perfectly in the living room. I am close but not finished yet! As I was a designer in the 80s, I knew the business and also how aggressive some sales staffs could be. When I was greeted by Tina, I was skeptical to put it mildly. I didn't realize that not only did she give me room to breathe but she knew her business and was very personable. She was extremely helpful and performance emphasized excellence. She also made me feel that customer service was primary. I was given reasonable delivery dates, called by shipping in Ft Myers for confirmation and scheduled delivery, and assured by the delivery staff that they would do anything to make me happy. They even performed standard touch up right there. (Yes, you will have an occasional mark or two on your furniture no matter what the price. Get over yourself.) Since then, I had a minor concern that was addressed by Tina immediately. She has become a good friend and is now my "go to" person for anything concerning interior design and furniture. She is also the perfect person I would want to represent my company. I've read about others at other locations! Tom Matter was also most helpful during my shopping experience at Matter Bros. I do recommend this furniture store in Tarpon Springs.
