This store is beautifully set up with room displays at every turn with wonderful attention to detail. I admit I thought it was a store with new furnishings, but turned out to be more antiques and restored furniture. For me the pricing was high. I have shopped tons of antique and shabby chic home decor shops and this is more high end pricing. The displays are eye candy, but I didn't find anything that I had to have. My mom was done in 2 minutes- and this store is HUGE! Knew she wasn't finding what she wanted there. read more

This Palm Harbor company owes more than $180,000 to Habitat for Humanity. They sublet a retail space from them for three years and when the pandemic hit they refused to make any sort of payments towards their rent. NOT ONE PENNY. Due to the eviction moratorium, they were unable to evict for a year as their unpaid rent continued. they could have built an entire additional home last year but instead we were forced to keep the rent current with the landlord despite starboard's refusal to honor their sublease. #BadBusiness read more

Some decent items- some reasonably priced, some too high IMO. Friendly staff- said hello, let us browse, and then disappeared. Although we did not make a purchase, I certainly would come back to check items out if/when we wanted something in particular. Most of what we saw were either quality looking items/well built or if used, in much better than any average second hand store. read more

Boy, have they got some nice stuff! The showroom is laid out really nice. They do a great job with setting up displays, looks like home. Their table settings are spot-on (something that I'm a little obsessive about) and it's amazing that they keep on top of everything in such a large space. And don't miss the "stuff behind the curtain" where all the miscellaneous goods are, things that aren't priced yet or aren't as high-quality. So this store can serve every interest and budget. It's a great place to spend 30-45 minutes perusing their products and maybe find that piece you need for that empty corner. Go look! read more

We love this place - they have great antiques and mid century modern items for home and patio. They sell furniture and home decor items on consignment and have some dealers that sell there also. It is very large and well laid out. It is not at all crowded or cluttered. It is a pleasure to browse and we always find something interesting. My mom found an ad for the Starboard Home and suggested we go there. There is a nice blend of offerings here, antiques, consignments, vintage, Industrial, and more. I really like the way their consignment system works, I find the prices to be fair. Be aware that their items do sell quickly. I saw a dining room set that I really wanted to take home myself but took too long trying to figure out the logistics and it was bought by someone else right there on the spot. Nice folks. Found constant follow up was needed. Multiple personnel which failed to relay important messages. Not proactive. As a consignee I was not treated as a client. As a buyer of furniture and using their delivery Service i felt very uncomfortable with complaints of the large pieces I purchased. read more

The store has a lot of items to pick from and some great pieces but not worth going to look at due to the employees. I've bought from them multiple times and each time it has gotten worse. I wish I'd read the several bad reviews on their FB page. My daughter purchased a leather sofa and chair. When it was delivered yesterday we noticed, after they'd left, that it reeked of the odor of mold!!! Washing it down didn't help- coming from inside and is a definite health hazard that never should have been sold. So far all I'm hearing is ALL SALES FINAL! The bad reviews are all about lack of customer service and faulty products! My next step will be 8 On Your Side. They should contemplate karma! read more

Great shop run by great people! We artistically painted some furniture and tried to sell it on some local resale and garage sale sites with no success. Within a few weeks of consigning our goods at Starboard Home we had sold every single piece of furniture we had and for a good profit for us. They are professional, fair, and great business people. They are truly engaged in their business. I found prices marked on everything and they were excellent prices, too. I love to shop there and find things I love every time! read more

A lot of things not priced but you can leave your phone number for someone to get back to you and then never call you. then you can continue to call and ask and each employee will say Art ( employee) should have followed thru and they will call me back. This store is better than candy. Beautiful items! Great service! After spending months hunting for a comfortable chair to replace one I'd had over 10 years and was making me miserable every time I sat in it, I went to Starboard Home with my daughter just to poke around and what to my wondering eyes should appear (!) was the armchair of my dreams! Leather soft as butter, cushy on the tushy. I bought it instantly along with some really cute decorative items and I am SO happy! I am a collector of vintage and antiques. I think their prices are reasonable considering the quality--this not a thrift store. Pay attention to the ticket on the item as the prices decrease over time however items do not stay in the store long. If you really like it, buy it now. I also notice they have opened up a new store one block north on US19 with items that need refinishing-- for the DIYer. Both places definitely on the "must go" list. read more
