I probably would've gone with 3-stars had there not been so many other 5-star reviews. I don't want to bring their rating down, but at the same time i did not make any purchases because i just found the prices obnoxious. Considering most of the furniture is old/used/re-purposed, the prices they're asking are retail for brand-new stuff. I get that people put their hard work and energy into fixing stuff up, but there has to be a balance. Overall, it really is an ADORABLE shop. It's decently sized and there's plenty to see. In fact, I'm guessing you probably miss seeing half the stuff because there's SO much! You could almost walk through each section twice just to be sure you saw everything! If I were in the area I would stop by again and see if I found anything I loved. Definitely check it out for yourself, and make your own opinion. You may just find something amazing. And there is a range of knick-knacks, kitchen towels, decorations, all the way up to full-sized furniture (tables/dressers/nightstands/etc). If you're in the area, give 'em a try!

I have significant sensitivities to fragrances and chemicals, which can make furniture shopping challenging. Angelena went above and beyond to help us find solutions that would work for my situation. She listened carefully to my concerns, and even worked with the manufacturer to make special accommodations for my furniture prior to delivery. At every stage, I felt like she genuinely cared about helping us create a home we could enjoy. That level of service is rare these days. Another thing that impressed us is the quality of the furniture itself. So much furniture today looks good in a showroom but is ultimately made from engineered materials that simply don't hold up over time. The pieces we purchased from Coastal are solid wood, beautifully finished, and built to be used and enjoyed for many years. Although the initial investment may be higher than some alternatives, this is heirloom-quality furniture that becomes part of your home for the long haul, not something you'll be replacing in a few years. I looked EVERYWHERE & could not find anything in real wood that I liked. I came to "At Home" and they had some really cute ones, and a really big Natural wood one on the top shelf, naturally, where I couldn't get to it. I tried to get help but I ran out of time & had to leave. I couldn't find anyone to help me get the shelf down, so I left. I kept looking the rest of the day around town, but that was the only one I really liked. So next day I came in & went up to the register & asked if someone could get it down for me & the lady at the register was very kind & helpful, called a man to help me immediately. He got the shelf down & it's the perfect size I needed. This store is very nice, clean & well organized. It's HUGE with tons of inventory & seasonal inventory. The prices are average. Some items I found were a little bit pricey but I found plenty of things I thought were reasonable. Anything you need to decorate your house is in the store.
