That is also true for a lot of the souvenir/ beach shop as well. There though, the aisles are shorter or they are on small racks and displays cases. That is the only saving grace there with space and ease of shopping. The worst part is paying for parking before getting on the elevators. Good lord. That is a nightmare. The lines to pay and to get on the elevators are long with most everyone needing assistance from a store employee. AND I SAY DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!…read more07/04/2022 @ 4:30PM I was here with my wife shopping around minding our own business, when two Spanish floor associates decided to verbally make fun of my pregnant wife in Spanish! As if I couldn't understand them because I look white but actually I am Hispanic myself! I quickly confronted them both on the spot and they both quickly ran inside their "employee only" door. My wife was left wondering what happened? What did they say? As I was explaining it to her only one of them decided to peek her head out the door to look directly at me in silence. In Spanish I said to her "it's very funny making fun of my wife, huh?" She quickly goes back in the door giggling nervously. A few seconds later her accomplice comes out and makes a straight line away to avoid me. I went up to her and I said in Spanish to her face "It was very funny wasn't it? Making fun of my wife". I went to get rung up with the items I had, I asked the clerk if he can get me a manager but ignores me. A female associate fixing inventory comes by and I asked her to get a manager as I explained the situation to her and radios the manager to the front. The manager first off was unresponsive to the radio call, so the associate went out of her way to physically go get the manager on duty. As the associate came back towards me, "the manager" was talking to both of the Spanish floor associates in private. The associate who helped me said that the manager is not happy with them. My wife and I get called to the side near the front entrance to speak with the female manager. She asked me what happened and I explained it to her. HERE COMES THE GOOD PART! The manager questions me and asks "what exactly did they say in Spanish to her". So now the victims here are being questioned about credibility??? Fuck it I said it in Spanish verbatim! The female Spanish manager has the audacity to tell me they were joking about something else. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHERE YOU THERE? AND NOW YOU'RE CALLING ME LIAR! She called on one of the Spanish female floor associates to come talk and told me that I was mistaken, turns to my wife asks her in Spanish as if she could understand it what she said. I told her in Spanish "She's Asian she doesn't speak Spanish, but unlike her I am Salvadorian. I look white but fluently speak Spanish!" Then manager says I didn't hear them correctly, that I am wrong. No, I said "I didn't hear things I clearly heard them and confronted them! Just because I look white but I am Hispanic and my pregnant Asian wife is there that I couldn't understand you and your friend?" Spoken in Spanish to her and the manager. BUT IT GET BETTER!!! The manager tells me verbatim "they don't lie" "they never lie to me". I said "they're lying right now, if not then why did they run away from me as I confronted them both the first time!" The manager then just blatantly denies it all as customers are passing by telling it to me in Spanish so none can understand. So at that point I have had enough of hiding the conversation in Spanish! I spoke loudly in English and said to them all verbatim "They are lying and thinking it's ok for them to talk in Spanish and make fun of my pregnant wife meanwhile thinking they can get away with it because while I look white I am a Hispanic, you are all in the fucking wrong!" Yes there are racist Spanish people in this world and there are three of them in there that think it's ok to have that attitude towards people coming to shop for their products, demean their customers, lie to their customers, deny any sort of accountability and still NOT EVEN HAVE THE AUDACITY TO FUCKING MAKE A DAM THING RIGHT!

We returned home April 1 and I was able to share the shirts with my daughter, who lives 3 hours away from me, on April 8th. She washed them before the kids even wore them, and the photos show what happened to one of them, before it was even worn! I contacted Surf Style on April 11th about the problem, provided photos and the receipt, with an answer that they don't refund after 30 days... a difference of 2 days between purchase and my contacting them. We were in Madeira Beach for 5 weeks and couldn't even get home to share the shirts and find out one was faulty within that time frame. I have shopped there for 17 years but unfortunately I will not spend money there again because they care nothing about customer service or goodwill. Too many other good places to shop in the area to give money to that business again. Think about it before you shop there as well.

Our room was decent, however, the bed was awful, not resort quality AT ALL. It was lumpy and concaved where the 100s of bodies before us had slept. We brought it to the attention of the front desk on day two and they immediately sent housekeeping to our room. Their answer to fix it was to add two additional mattress covers, which only served to make it even lumpier. on day 4 we again raised the issue at the front desk, she indicated she'd have a manager contact us, no one did. Upon checkout this morning we brought it up a third time indicating that with the price of the rooms we would not expect such poor beds or complete silence on the matter from management. The young lady was very apologetic. We indicated that we'd appreciate reimbursement, since management didn't feel their guests satisfaction was worth a call. It's a given that vacation is to relax, unwind and have a good nights rest. Unfortunately the latter was missing on this vacation, which tainted our overall experience. We were disappointed with having to pay parking and the additional fees as well, on top of the 4k we paid to stay in a high-end room where the bed was subpar and as stated affected our overall comfort and satisfaction. Our biggest disappointment however, is with the management of the Sandpearl in not contacting us. That indicates to us that at the Sandpearl it's a business first and foremost and guest satisfaction is secondary. We will not be recommending the Sandpearl nor will we be back.
