Very large store with a great selection of items. Will be back to take the kids on the flow rider. Came back and the store would not honor 10% off advertised with yelp review. So came back to adjust review to one star. Store clerk was very nice but manager would not come out to help him. I asked where the manager was and he stated he's in the back doing what he does. Huge selection of souvenirs, shirts, and gifts to take home from your vacation. Fair prices as well, not too bad if you're wanting to leave with a few things from Clearwater. Typical chain store for the beach boardwalk and pretty organized for how many people were in here when we came. read more

This store is an upscale combination of a 7-11, clothing store, Walmart, Dick's Sporting Goods, a pool supply store and souvenir shop. There are lots of fun T-shirts, sports bottles, bathing suits, beach towels, sunblock and hats. The target audience includes all the guests staying at the nearby resorts. I saw a $7 beach bag at a flea market. A similar bag was $99 at this location. If you forgot anything beach related when you packed, no worries this store will have it. The second floor has a small clearance section. We bought tie dye t-shirts for $5.99. The store has a fun photo opportunity in front. If you are in the area, it is worth a visit. They are smart. I don't like sharing things like this.... I'm not out to smear a business. But I purchased over $100 worth of shirts at Surf Style on March 9th, as gifts for family. We returned home April 1 and I was able to share the shirts with my daughter, who lives 3 hours away from me, on April 8th. She washed them before the kids even wore them, and the photos show what happened to one of them, before it was even worn! I contacted Surf Style on April 11th about the problem, provided photos and the receipt, with an answer that they don't refund after 30 days... a difference of 2 days between purchase and my contacting them. We were in Madeira Beach for 5 weeks and couldn't even get home to share the shirts and find out one was faulty within that time frame. I have shopped there for 17 years but unfortunately I will not spend money there again because they care nothing about customer service or goodwill. Too many other good places to shop in the area to give money to that business again. Think about it before you shop there as well. read more

Bad business! These stores advertise closing time is 10:00 PM on Friday. I planned my trip in Fort Myers expecting the night before we left to go back home to Indiana that I would stop in this Surf Style store near the community where we stayed to purchase souvenirs. They were closed at 9 PM so we went to the next closest store and they also were closed at 9:15 PM. My plane was leaving at 6 AM the next day so I was not able to buy souvenirs. Ron Jon's Surf Shop is the best surf store on many levels. Would have gone there but we didn't have time to because they weren't close enough. read more

A super store with all your beach going needs. Located right across the Clear Water Beach, this giant store specializes in swim wear and beach related goods. There so much options to choose from theres something for everyone in the group and family. It's two floors with the changing room in the upper floor. A great big store with all the right merchandise for your beach vacation. T-shirts and swimsuits galore with really nice styles. There's also a reasonably priced parking garage above the store. We paid only $18 for all day. By comparison, Hyatt Regency next door charges almost double that. Surf style is an icon. Surf style is the moment. Within my short 3-day vacation in Clearwater Beach, I shopped at this Surf Style at least 5 times. For one, it serves as a beach access walkway, providing a welcome respite from the humid Florida air. But on top of that, they offer a huge selection of anything you could possibly need for a day at the beach. Just as was foretold in the iconic theme song that periodically echoes throughout the store: Body boards, skin boards, all sorts of beach towels, and bikinis too. Everything you need for the beach and the sun, the sun, the beach, and you. Amen. In all seriousness though, Surf Style saved my ass when my luggage got delayed and I needed not only some beach gear, but even a beach wedding appropriate outfit. They have options that range from affordable to more expensive brand-name items. I even got a bunch of cool souvenir tees and magnets. Highly recommend. read more

For all your beach, grocery and souvenir needs, this is the spot to be! During our stay at Clearwater Beach, we needed to stock up on some things and they have a great selection of foods, snacks, beer and wine, pharmacy and cosmetic needs and sun screen items. I was impressed with the quality of cheeses and deli choices, some came ready to eat for a quick grab and go! They have tons of beachy souvenirs including mermaids, gators, shell chimes, jewelry, pens, magnets etc! There's a large selection of shoes and sandals, although most are name brands and expensive. (Next door at Surf USA, the flip flops are cheaper). If you need beachwear, you'll find men's, women's and children's clothing on both floors of this huge shop. Upstairs you'll also find a big area full of cool toys and plushies for the kids! They even have an indoor surf pool for you adventurous souls! We spent over an hour in here enjoying shopping and gathering goods! Clearance section on the bottom floor in the back. Sales staff could've been friendlier, but some were helpful. It is convenient Surf Style is across the street from the beach making it easy if you forget something for your day at the beach. The prices are comparable to other stores in the area like Walgreens. This place is Crazy: Surf shop, Gift store, Grocery store, and You can indoor surf here. (Surf simulator was broken) Stopped by after drinks for some shopping and man what a revelation. I was born in Tampa so i usually avoid places like these. This place is pretty impressive. The selection of clothing is amazing, and they even have more upstairs. It is right in the middle of Clearwater South beaches and there is plenty of bars, restaurants and shops close by. The beach is right across the street. I think I can say if there is something you forgot for your beach trip. This is the place to find it. Do yourself a favor and swing by just once, it's amazing. read more

I purchased a Guy Harvey shirt and it was very high-quality and on sale at a great price. Very nice selection of swimsuits, sunglasses, T-shirts, footwear, and everything beachwear. I was invited to come in for an interview at 1:45 I got there on time and I went to the desks and I asked for my lady that was supposed to be interviewing me they called her over the walkie-talkies told her I was there and ready for the interview, but she never came. Let me tell you about their "special parking deal"!! They adverse it's free for one hour. What they DONT tell you is the have VERY confusing floor numbers (you can be on one side it's 3rd floor but the elevator will read 2nd floor!!) on each floor. They have steps you can take out but you can't come back in (no outside access) and they PURPOSELY don't explain all this so they can charge you FIFTEEN DOLLARS when you stay for one hour and fourteen minutes!! This is all ON PURPOSE!! We spent OVER $200 inside. Had plenty of time to get back to our car but discovered all of their TRICKS when we tried to find our car!!! SOOOOO SHADY!!! And they CONVENIENTLY had a broken elevator!!! Imagine that?!?!!! I even approached their gift cart riding attendant and explained how my family (2 adults-4 kids) had been trying to locate our car and how confusing it all was. I tried calling and this store told me ...they allow a 10 minute grace period but after that-they could do nothing. They went on to suggest I call their "HOT LINE" to lodge my complaint. Well, Penelope (the manager who decided to not even check my story out with the golf cart guy!) and tell me to call this ""HOT LINE"...?! It's been HOURS-no response! Imagine THAT??!!! I get that they don't want their spaces used when open, but they share a lot with restaurants and pay a towing company to tow our cars after business hours. Cool grocery, liquor, souvenir, and surf shop. It's across the street from the Springhill & Residents Inn By Marriott and carries a lot of the thing you'll need and want. I've gone there for drinks, water, and snacks and have gotten great service each and every time. They have a variety of snacks, food items, and full liquor, not just beer and wine. Don't be fooled because at the middle of the store is a full surf simulator that you can either watch or participate in. It's cool seeing people wipe out while I'm picking out some essentials for the beach. The prices are average so no surprise if a few things are a little more expensive at the beach. Came here with my friends so we can the flow rider. I am the biggest scaredy cat EVER! and I did it!! I was so proud of myself. It was tons of fun. You get beaten up and sucked in and out from the water, and you get tiny bruises, that don't hurt bc it's a trampoline like material. Definitely a really cool experience, and it only cost $20 for a half hour. It was great for us bc it was just our group and we could keep going back over and over again. The person who was the attendent was pretty cool and would help us and make sure we were okay and gave us tips to go on the boogie board or try to stand up and balance on the surf board. I would do this again, but my stupid self wore a tube top suit and I kept on pulling it up in the water so make sure you r wearing a surf shirt, or one piece if you don't want to flash anyone lol! read more

This place has potential, and used to be pretty good. It's a giant surf shop right on the Beach Walk. They have a bunch of touristy souvenir stuff, but also some quality products like Yeti coolers and Maui Jim sunglasses, etc. The back of the store is a small grocery store. The best part is they have a nice pubic parking garage for beach access. The first hour is free with any purchase at the store--even a bottle of water. However, my last few visits have been unimpressive. The store itself just feels like a mess. The parking machines were broken. The elevators were full of graffiti. The restrooms were absolutely disgusting. I hope the management can pull this place together again. read more

Opens very early even on Sundays and if you have forgotten anything for the beach this is your store. Pricey but also lots of sales and if you are in need then it's worth it. At the front or rear depending on where you enter is a supermarket where you can stock up on water fruits and most items...again pricey but convenient.
